  1. ok for the record i was not wasted, i just had to poop in the street and was pissed nobody would give me any toilet paper
  2. um mcfly marcella started in rochester and the bflo club opened after that
  3. i lived in rochester for ten years and did most of that stuff. idk if its still there but there was an awesome club called marcella that had a terrific drag queen show every saturday. im not gay but i still loved that place bc the ppl were so freaking interesting. i actually met a few chicks there too, theres no poser pressure like there is in regular clubs. well i suppose maybe there is for the gay guys idk but i never had any trouble talking to some pretty cute girls that were in there. got hit on by guys quite a bit at first but that was never a problem, id just tell them im straight and have a drink with them if they wanted. cool place oh and there also was an awesome black club downtown, cant remember the name of it. lots of times black clubs are openly hostile to white males but that place wasnt. used to talk my black friends to go there after going to white clubs bc white girls paid zero attention to me when i hung with black guys, but the situation was completely reversed when we went to black clubs - and i liked seeing them get mad when their pasty friend was hogging all the chicks lol but true
  4. but theres only 174 days of free agency left and if i dont freak out now there might not be another chance
  5. id rather have christopher lloyd really, assuming hes finally grown up i wouldnt mind at all if they decided to add him. but thats a big if
  6. that is completely disrespectful to the great buffalo roller derby teams
  7. well yeah in THAT game they werent ept at all but they are still at .500 on the season. to demonstrate a complete lack of eptness you have to be at or near the bottom, like the bills and sabres
  8. yes of course it was about money, which is directly related to the role the bills saw for him and what fitz saw for himself. youre going to pay a guy a lot if hes the undisputed starter, a significant amout less if hes one of several potential starters, and a lot less if hes the backup/mentor. everyone (players, coaches, agents) knows what those values are so the value of the contract itself tells you all you need to know about what role each side sees the player filling putting everything together, including fitz's statement that buddy had already told him everything he heard in the prank phone call, makes it clear the bills told him they wanted him to transition to the backup/mentor role NOW. they didnt budge on a contract bc they clearly werent going to let him truly compete for the job, they had already decided they were definitely going in a different direction, his time as starter was done in buffalo, case closed if it was really and truly just about him wanting more money while the bills WERE going to let him compete for the starting job, then he would be an idiot not to take that offer. but we know fitz isnt dumb. why in the world would he not accept a backup/mentor job right here and now if thats what he was prepared to do? he desperately wants to keep his family in this city, but even that wasnt enough to allow him to flush his last remaining tiny chance at a starting job somewhere else its obvious at least to me hes going to wait until after the draft and hope that some team ends up qb needy enough to give him a shot at a starting gig. hes taking his last roll of the dice and if it doesnt work out he decides later if he goes to some other teams roster as a backup or just retires i didnt hear him say that at all, not even close. he said he would accept a backup/mentor role when it became obvious that was his only option, but he wasnt ready to concede that just yet. very very different situations
  9. well i apologize for calling you a dick. i wasnt feeling well that day and went too far. besides that should have been pretty obviously inferred anyway people can call me anything they want. ive been dealing with that for decades. depending on the situation ive been called everything under the sun by partisans. it is indeed a fact that ive voted for more republican presidential candidates than democrats, including the last two rounds. i do that in all cases bc i vote for whom i think is most qualified and who will do the most benefit for the country, with a secondary goal to achieve balance in gubmit unfortunately this republican party has gone so far off the deep end that ive turned to voting for a disproportionate number of democrats to make a statement and punish the republicans. that makes it even more important to vote for a republican president, to provide that balance and to provide strong leadership that would force that horribly dysfunctional party to get its act together. ron paul and jon huntsman are both intelligent, honest, and principled men that would have done that. fortunately, obama was a relatively poor candidate in my mind and didnt deserve reelection, so voting for those qualify individuals instead was easy and convenient. and i sure as hell wasnt going to vote for romney the further right someone is the more left the rest of the world looks to them. if that makes me a leftist in someones mind so be it. its a very common problem among the far right, and im not here to change anyones mind on that - as if i could
  10. during his interview with jon murphy fitz says buddy told him directly that he wouldnt be competing for the starting job. fitz said he was disappointed bc he felt like he had earned more than that (which i would agree with) and was the main factor in not agreeing to restructure. earlier fitz hints at that saying they couldnt come to terms on a restructure deal, which makes sense if fitz thinks he should be competing for the starting job (which would be a different level of contract) but the bills have already made up their mind he would have to transition to the backup/mentor role essentially fitz made it clear he wanted to take one last shot at starting someplace and if buffalo wasnt going to give him even the chance to compete for the job he decided to just let them cut him so he could try to catch on with another team that would. if that doesnt happen then he will be ready to assume the backup/mentor role. frankly i dont blame him. hes still in his prime years and is a bottom tier starter, why not see if he can get one more shot to put it all together. i wish the bills had let him do that here but they didnt so i wish him luck
  11. every year its like groundhog day all over again around here i think buddy has handled free agency perfectly since hes been here. not that everything has worked out, but his system is excellent. most of the time he just waits for guys to become free due to other teams inability to keep everyone and/or stay under the cap. then after most of the money around the league has already been (over)spent hes there to offer reasonable contracts to solid but unspectacular players when he can get good value merriman was a little different and was a gamble that didnt pay off, we all know that, but they got him for no draft picks spend during a time when they had a lot of money available. if he had worked out it would have been a massive bargain, but even though it didnt im glad he took that shot and of course super mario was very different, but that was an all-in move to try to go to the next level. little did we know that the entire defense would be epic bad around him, and that fitz would regress instead of rebound. but it was a reasonable sound move at the time. we are probably at least a season away from that kind of move again bc you only do that when you think you are on the cusp and its unlikely this pimply faced staff can right the ship that fast so for all non-QB related moves i would give buddy a B+ at least. of course he gets an F for his QB position management bringing his final grade down quite a bit. but this idea that he has been generally inept at free agency is just silly
  12. ok for the record i was not wasted, i just had to poop in the street and was pissed nobody would give me any toilet paper
  13. ... plus the fabric he used to cover himself was stiff and looked like it had some weight to keep it from moving too, futher burdening his body. honestly i would not have thought it possible to be that close to perfect in the ability to not move if i hadnt stood there and watched it less than three feet away myself btw - he did not have any money box or anything for donations either, so i have no idea how he made a living, if he needed to. and like i said, he didnt draw any attention to himself either, it was a public courtyard but really sort of to the side of most foot and vehicle traffic. just really doing his thing apparently for the love of it. or perhaps he was completely insane. still, maximally impressive even later that day i was still wondering if i had really saw movement or if perhaps there had been a new statue placed there overnight. thats how good he was. we had to fly out that evening and just as we were leaving i looked out the window and he was gone. kinda creepy and exciting, especially for what could have been just a dumb statue lmao
  14. i swear to god i really did think it was for quite a while. i kept looking at him out the window, then when we finally got outside i had to stare at him for like two minutes straight from about two feet away just to detect any movement. and it wasnt like he was sitting or even standing in an easy manner, he had both arms raised and still hardly budged. the guy musta been in incredible shape just to have the muscle tone and practice to not move at all in that situation. it was unreal. the artistry in paris is off the charts for every type of performer and this guy had to be the best statue imitator in the world. funny that probably will never get him above poverty level but you gotta respect his level of dedication to his craft
  15. yeah bc its much better to attack him viciously than just call the cops that are right there neanderthals
  16. gimmie a d gimmie an o gimmie another o gimmie at least one more o maybe more gimmie a m gimmie some meds gimmie some exclamation points whattaya got? dooommeds!!!!!!!!!!!!
  17. theyve already told you the plan, many times a. let other teams fight for the top of the chart guys 3. wait until later and get the inevitable better values that always emerge russ is doomed cheap
  18. see bill really is a genius
