i will go to my grave convinced it was a fwd pass look at the hashmarks and watch where the ball leaves his fingertips and where its caught. its a good foot forward. everyone always points to that one camera shot where it appears the ball travels backwards, but nobody considers the fact that the shot IS ON AN ANGLE so its not a straight sight line and that produces an optical illusion. there are other angles from the top that clearly show exactly where the ball leaves his fingertips and if you compare those two shots you see the ball indeed travels forward granted, thats about impossible to call live and it would have taken huge balls to overturn it. but they still should have. and regardless of what happens regarding not staying in lanes, the bills are still jobbed all-time on that play

spiller did and troup does clearly count as a starter troup plays mostly on run downs and williams mostly on pass downs. thats a platoon and both players are costarters spiller only isnt the starter cuz there are two other bonafide nfl starters in the rotation so depending on the gameplan or game conditions any of them could end up the starter so one and a half probably on average, not bad i guess

i absolutely agree. its shocking how back the line play still is. theres multiple defenders getting through fast on almost every play. its some of the worst oline play ive ever seen on any team. after knowing how bad it was last season i dont know why its still that bad, you would think they would spend so much focus on the whole blocking issue that it would have been somewhat better. but amazing as it is to say, they might actually be WORSE than last season trent sucks, but you would need to be a magician to be successful behind that kind of crap line play

too soon i would have given trent the first four games. and especially watching how piss ass poor our whole blocking scheme has been i ABSOLUTELY would have given him another game or two. not that trent hasnt been crappy but its just not fair to expect any hof qb ever to function behind what it honestly one of the worst oline performances i have EVER seen hopefully this means gaily is convinced trent is washed up. i only say hopefully cuz if thats the case then better to just move on now rather than later. i would prefer trent be serviceable, and i dont see how we could make that determination yet behind this and last seasons horrendously poor oline/blocking schemes, but if thats what they think is going on then fine i will give them the benefit of the doubt i just hope fitz doesnt do well enough to get us to six or seven wins - and out of the top five or so on draft day

next years season opener

for real people are freaking the hell out. after two games. two games! wtf did you expect? all new systems. new coaches. same crappy players (mostly) gonna take time folks. weve known that for months i originally said four wins, bumped it to six after seeing how good spiller was, and now going back to four after seeing how incredibly bad our oline is but four or six wins, this was always going to be a rebuild ie. sucky ass season vince lombardi couldnt do any better at this stage deal wid it

the only way this team sticks around here after ralph goes to the big fieldhouse in the sky is to keep filling the stadium. so if you want football here five years from now buy tix no matter what im not even sure that will do it, cuz once ralph passes all bets are off. we dont have the advantage of corporations lining up to keep filling the high priced boxes so we must continue to provide the psychological edge of filling up the stadium that the nfl wants to have any chance to keep the team idc what jimbo says, its no lock that his group gets the team. but one thing for sure, the less the stadium is filling up the more likely the team moves. so if you think youre gonna punish the bills for providing a poor product you will be punishing yourself with no product

ty finally i dont agree with the parents that feel they have to shelter their kids from everything. my sister doesnt even allow us to say words like 'stupid' or 'hate' around her kids, which i think is just incredibly silly. kids arent stupid. they need to see that some other people act like jerks, and youre right its a teachable moment - youre there with them so reinforce that as the behavior that makes them look and sound and be bad you cant live in a plastic bubble and expect to come out well adjusted
