  1. dead on? lmao sully is a shrill loud mouthed douche. why anybody pays attention to him i have no idea. well actually i do but its impolite to say and once again people can only think binary. if you reject sully that must mean you endorse this mgmt team without question. no middle ground truth is sully is rehashing the same stupid frantic panicky bull **** that the fans are. thats why some fans love him, cuz he says the dumbass things they say doesnt mean you cant evaluate and question the decisions of the bills staff, but the extreme hysterical nature of those questions is where the problem is hell, if i was gm i wouldnt want to deal with you people either four games into the first season of a total rebuild project and suddenly thats enough information to determine these guys are in over their heads? really?!? hey its your right as fans to be hysterical and panicky, but i dont want to read it from my sports journalists
  2. why root for a winless season? three wins would certainly get you a strong chance at the top pick. besides, its very hard not to win a game in the nfl so chances are excellent they will end up with a few wins anyway no matter what i dont even feel anything on gamedays anymore anyway. i just turn on the tv, watch intently a few minutes, then do something else while the game is on like read or play a video game. they are gonna lose anyway most likely, which isnt a bad thing in a rebuilding year, so i dont have to root for nuthin. no emotion, no desire, just patiently waiting for the season to end so we can move on to phase two of the rebuild
  3. but how am i going to feel any better if i dont freak the fk out?
  4. three things will fix this team: 1. a draft 2. another draft 3. picking up good middle tier free agents oh and maybe another draft
  5. exactly this has concerned me since i heard of edwards appointment as dc gailey should be able to get the offense fixed sooner or later, but why in the world would i be confident in edwards? hes always been an unimpressive dc choice. and you did a nice job outlining why its still not totally fair to judge him, but id be surprised if he ends up being a good dc
  6. for the all-time permanent record, i am 100% fine with deferring frankly those flipping the hell out look like idiots to me. if i win the toss im deferring most games, except if conditions dictate otherwise. the advantages are obvious, the call pretty much makes itself this idea of a first-drive score being automatic after deferring, as well as it being what lost the game, well again i gotta say it makes you look stoopid
  7. listen up this is just the reality here if you do not support the team it will leave. support is the only thing keeping it here boycott if you want but think about how it will be when there is no team. boycotting will feel good for a few days or weeks. no team might be forever teams eventually get good again. some teams more than others. but you cant enjoy those years if they dont exist
  8. wow i have never heard of this. and i used to want to be a pro cartoonist/animator so i paid attention to that stuff. always hated the crappy transformers tho. they were like the crappy pokemon cartoons, blowmation if you ask me what else was popular back then? rugrats i think. rocket power maybe later. those were much better for kids cartoons if you ask me. i could think of more if i wasnt ready to fall asl
  9. im not going so i hope it rains flaming ice chunks
  10. agree with them or not, players know the rules and that could easily be recognized as breaking them. it was a dumb thing to do at that point so the fine will help everyone on the team remember not to go overboard great point it takes no more time to pretend youre shooting a rifle than to jump in the stands. its also a pretty dramatic gesture, so i agree it should be outlawed and called if it happens. somebody should pester the officials or something. lol. fat lotta good it would do, tho. its a tradition that the average viewer probably likes, so at this point you got no chance stopping it, even tho it appears to clearly qualify
  11. mark this one down, boys its may be the first time in history a team rushes for a thousand yards - in one game
  12. are there any charts on being a dick qb?
  13. There's a time and the time is now and it's right for me, It's right for me, and the time is now. There's a word and the word is love and it's right for me, It's right for me, and the word is love.
  14. i will do my part and scalp a five buck ticket at the game
  15. a fourth year mostly starter who is going to suddenly succeed doesnt hold onto the ball with seconds left to get a td to tie

  18. i only dont like him cuz hes white
  19. good. im glad hes gonna be around for a while longer too bad we couldnt see him another season at de after having his best season be his last at the position. hes missed some assignments as a lb but hes also made some plays. tbh im not convinced he can make the transition to a high level but im also not convinced he cant so ill leave that up to the football guys that see him every day last season i gave him the phil hansen award for reliable white guy of the team award. yes i said award twice, its a white thing. after seeing him elevate his game last season im hoping we can watch him do the same in this position chuddy apparently thinks he can. lets watch
  20. bob called me after seeing this thread for a few clarifications. i would go through and show point by point where he hits everything i said but you know me im much too modest for that. then i told him he could just have this one he even threw in a reference to pudge who i just posted monday was the spitting image of fitz, well the other way around you know. god this guy needs to get his own material im not gonna continue being so generous. bob you keep swiping my chiz im specting some paper
  21. they are holding a roster spot open to re-sign jp
  22. the popular thing to do right now is wail and moan about how inept the organization is, which the record shows is unarguably true, and also how chuddyban were so stupid to give trentative the job in the first place after having all that film lets review: - chan was thought to be (by me and i think billions of other billievers) an offensive guru and specifically good at getting production out of tyler fkn thigpen type qbs - chan was inheriting what was thought to be (by me and trillions of other non-billievers) one of the most inept offenses in bills history with bottom seven-ish rankings for something like six straight seasons. holy crap it sounds way worse now that i typed it. see how that works - just look at the last staff and tell me thats a group youd have confidence in to develop a qb. they couldnt possibly know what they have in anybody, well except for never-will-be-more-than-good-backup fitz and thats only because they had much more data on him from two sources one of which was a pretty good bengirls offense where he threw a lot - given how fast they made the first and second round picks its clear they were thrilled at the guys they got. i was skeptical of troup at first but both he and spill appear to be bonafide future starters or better. the troup/clausen derby is officially underway - there were holes all over this roster. still are. theyve point blank explained they liked all the players they picked better than whatever qb was avail. that means they were adding what they felt were better resources on this talent resource poor team - they really can only carry three qbs unless they want to sacrifice a practice squad spot for a qb that will very rarely get official practice reps or will steal them from the others - they have to carry fitz. hes the insurance - they had to find out what trent really was - pre-adrian or trentative. theres really no way they could be sure and its more than reasonable they expected if anybody could make trent productive it was chan. good call. bad result. still was a good call - they felt they had their development guy in brohm. you can tell that earlier they werent sure, how could they be, but now gailey confirms they want to invest cycles in him. so thats three very reasonable roster positions for qbs at this point the picture should already be forming for you. if you havent agreed yet consider what happens if trent goes elsewhere and shines. it was literally a coin flip at that time whether this reputed qb friendly system could coax productivity out of trent. thats worth the investment of a qb competition and a few starts theres logically no other choice and now after two real games they recognize trent failed the system. badaboom badabing. gone like dinner. or something ok-but-never-to-be-a-real-starter fitz now helps them bide time and develop the rest of the offensive system. they will add their choice of rookie fas to the practice squad. and they give brian his audition to be the next starting qb perfect inoptimal result. optimal execution now whether we can translate that kind of thing into overall success is way open to question. but this whole trent qb thing was handled perfectly fine. bad result. adjustment made. trigger pulled. boom. you talking to me? do you know who i am?
