    I like Mahomes, Trubisky, and Watson. I now hope, of course, the 2018 qb class still looks as strong a year from now. Scrutiny and the uncertainty of real life tends to alter things a bit. Clearly, the scenario you paint is plausible. I saw a list of five or six names, but the three you mention are the only ones I recall.

    Presumably it allows one to package two ones to get higher in the first if need be.

    I would have taken a qb at #10, but this draft appears strong to me. I'd rather have quality at positions of need. I expect three starters from the top of our draft. The extra 2018 1st will help secure a qb, though unless we fail miserably, it won't be one of the top two.

    I would have taken a qb. We went a different direction. The folks who hate Whaley tend to like the move we made, but they don't want to give him credit for it. That's the unfairness I see.

    Fwiw, Bill Polian was not very enthused about Robinson. Says his pass protection is a big problem.

    If you're going to blame him for everything that goes wrong, you should credit him for good moves as well, But the haters are convinced and don't care about justice.

    Well, I was one of those who wanted qb in the first, but I'm not a Whaley hater.

    He's a fine cb choice. I question the recycling cb strategy, but that's a different matter. I'll feel better about it if they find a way to land Kizer in the second.

    Wow. Any update on how his girlfriend is doing? That is a tremendous source of anxiety to carry around. Oh, yes. Look up a few posts. I assume as much. They should do so.

    Then why not us? Why waste a year of Tyrod's bridge qb deal? (I count Cardale as an extreme long shot.) If Kizer shows promise, you can use two first round picks next year to build the roster.

    I was hoping for that as well, but the Bills have this first round cb addiction.
