  1. You realize that because you posted this were going to sign Crabtree at 4pm tomorrow right?
  2. That's an interesting idea. Either way I just like Leroi's content and don't feel like we have to try to out him.
  3. This is a pretty funny misunderstanding
  4. We need another receiving option, whether it's a wr or a te. Chris Hogan and Scott Chandler should not be your number 2 or 3 option.
  5. Because he was mostly used as a pass blocker, which is his better skillset. But he can run once in a while too.
  6. I actually think Bilal is pretty decent. Behind the Jets awful line last year, he averaged 4.3 ypc. He's also a very good pass blocking rb. He's far from a star but he has his situational uses for sure.
  7. let me see if I can find the article, Cassel had a 48% completion over 20 yards vs like 25% for EJ. Edit: found it! It's from here: http://m.bleacherreport.com/articles/2384992-is-matt-cassel-the-best-starting-qb-option-for-the-buffalo-bills-in-2015
  8. Matt Cassel is much better at throwing the deep ball than EJ, and with Sammy running deep on play action passes, he may be the better choice. Course I hope EJ has improved here and wins.
  9. They said on Sirius there's offset language on the contract for the ten million bonus. Not as big of a deal as people are making it out to be. It's also on Thursday.
  10. It may not sound like it, but I do believe this trade makes us a better football team today overall. I just don't know if it makes us a better team in the long term and certainly doesn't fit how I'd build a team personally. I get why we made the trade. I just don't have the same team building philosophy.
  11. The track record for RBs over 250 carries and 5 yards per carry in a season isn't great, and he did it with probably the best line in the nfl two years ago, and really struggled with running when the line got hurt, bouncing runs outside way too much, kinda like cj. I'd rather have great players everywhere. But it's the opportunity cost of having a great rb. In our case, giving up a great lb. In Dallas case, giving up Dez because they can't afford both.
  12. Yet you can get five yards a carry from Justin Forsett in the right situation (like Baltimore this year), while McCoy himself got significantly less. RBs are a funny thing. Committees and guys not near as talented can get significant production given good offensive lines. And they fall off quickly. You'll never catch me investing a ton in RB, because the difference in production between serviceable and very good just isn't that much. I'd rather get two solid guys that can split the load and get my elite players elsewhere (like QB, both lines, and wr/te)
  13. I hunk Cassel is a decent, not great option. But there's an argument to be made that he's better than other free agents. They have to add at least one more qb, I say add another one and let all three battle it out. Hopefully EJ wins.
  14. I'm philosophically against this trade mainly due to sort shelf lives of RBs and the ability to get good production out of them without needing superstars. For example, here's something Joe Dolan tweeted earlier today: I do agree it makes us better short term and there's questions around Kiko. But I don't have a lot of confidence McCoy is going to ever live up to the expectations we have for him given his mileage, history, and our offensive line.
  15. I think everyone can agree the ideal scenario is to have EJ beat out whoever we bring in, including McCown. Josh isn't worse than any other one out there so why not?
  16. The Seahawks didn't send their unit out until after the Patriots had put their goal line personnel into the field. I have no problem calling a pass on that situation. You have three downs, one timeout, and the Cheaters have committed to stop the run. Trying a pass then powering it in on the next two when you have a timeout left is fine. However, what's not fine is running that slant. A pass to the end zone in that situation has to be touchdown or out of bounds. This means you throw it high to a corner or high to the back middle. Put it in a spot where the receiver catches it or it's incomplete. This is pretty typical nfl strategy and the reason why there were zero interceptions from the one until the super bowl. I think the play call sucked. Not because it was a pass, but because it was the wrong pass play in the wrong situation. Can't do that there.
  17. Good Article from Nate Silver's Site: A Head Coach Botched The End Of The Super Bowl, And It Wasn’t Pete Carroll
  18. I don't think it was the right play call, but I don't think it was terribly dumb either. I think it was a great play by Butler to beat the receiver to the ball. The receiver needed to do a better job fighting for the football.

  20. Decided on Club Seats. People said it definitely felt like a premium experience and you get access to a lot of cool stuff. Figured I might as well do it up since going to England. BK242 Row 5 for me!
  21. Let's draft Bridge, add the word "Water" on his jersey and see what happens.
  22. Are the club seats worth it? Debating that vs lower bowl. What are clubs at Wembley like?
  23. I think Rex could run THROUGH the Mountain, let alone get to the top.
  24. Agreed with this. On the plus side though, it's a LOT easier to see how someone like him can do things like fire up a locker room, earn the trust of his players, etc. with someone like him than with Marrone.
  25. Heard his interview on SiriusXM NFL Radio. He gave a shoutout to the Bills fan who always calls Moving The Chains - that was awesome! He sure knows how to win fans over. He also said on the 4-3 vs 3-4 thing, he'll play as much 4-3 as anyone. He said he's led the NFL with 4-3 as a base as a Defensive Coordinator before. Love it! I'm all in on Rex Ryan.
