  1. That's like asking if Doug Marrone is better than Bill Belichick
  2. I think Tyrod has already earned this job and we should be focusing on preparing him to start the season. More reps as the starter the better. I don't think this is a good way to handle the QB competition.
  3. Tyrod hasn't been doing this. http://www.buffalorumblings.com/buffalo-bills-analysis-all-22/2015/8/24/9186979/tyrod-taylor-scouting-report-bills-vs-browns-nfl-preseason-week-2
  4. I'm going to be seriously disappointed if we don't start Tyrod.
  5. So I followed and then unfollowed Andy Benoit on twitter today.
  6. Nick Kostos is a long time producer for SiriusXM Sports. He's also a big time better and has written about that a few years. He's also a Giants fan I believe. He's great at predicting games against the spread. I'm a fan of his stuff. However, he's a big believer in QB talent leading to NFL success. It probably drives his philosophy more than anything else. His opinion of Rex likely comes from inability to develop a QB and producing for Adam Schein, who hates Rex as a NYC guy.
  7. I agree. We needed a starter on the DLine in round 2.
  8. I think Tyrod was the better, more consistent QB last night. EJ made some plays but again had throws high or at the feet of a receiver on the run. Give me Tyrod as the starter.
  9. I thought Tyrod was better than EJ tonight. Couple really nice throws, nice runs, and only bad play I think was the sack. He would have had that TD or PI with Woods, Harvin, or Sammy catching the ball too. EJ was up and down. Some very good plays, but we saw the drive killers at times too. What I mean by that is the scramble, flush out of the pocket, then overthrow or hit the feet of your receiver. The sack fumble of EJ wasn't good either. However, he was clutch on the TD pass and 2 point, great throws. Overall both we're pretty decent but I see more consistently good play from Tyrod, and he brings another dimension to the running game threat with read option with shady. EJ is playing well but more inconsistent and that can be drive killers. I think Tyrod should be the leader in the clubhouse to start, pending next game.
  10. A better WR brings that in for 6. I think we got our starter boys!!!
  11. I agree. All aboard the Tyrod bandwagon. This is your captain speaking.
  12. This week seems different... they had EJ and Tyrod rotating with the 2s at least before - weird they aren't still doing that even with the preseason game if it is still truly a 3-way race. They'll probably rotate 2nd/3rd guys during the game, not just stick to units strictly.
  13. Not so much you guys directly; more a commentary on there being this whole fans being positive vs negative reporters thing on EJ, while the evidence from the coaches (EJ relegated to 3rd only) points to the coaches agreeing with the reporters.
  14. I agree! Splitting reps with the 3rd team with Matt Simms means EJ's doing great and about to be our starting QB!!
  15. I'd just like to say this is a great day for Pflugerville, TX where I live, as the guy who broke Geno's jaw is from here.
  16. I thought Vince Young was going to be awesome.
  17. I like Central Texas better. You've got the great parts of the Hill Country, San Antonio, small Texas towns, and even the coast close enough for a weekend trip. =)
  18. I think EJ had the best play with the TD, Tyrod was pretty close and I love his athleticism. Not great from the QBs in that video in general. Simms was awful.
  19. Houston sucks. Austin is awesome. San Antonio is pretty cool too.
  20. Texas is awesome.
  21. Pretty sure he said "With as talented as we are..." not "They're not as talented as we are"
  22. LOVED him saying it's the most talented D-Line he's had!
