  1. Not the greatest lineup. Not at all. My top choice would be The Spinners.
  2. Yes but AD, I think that many posters might think that Frazier is the main cause of our problems. The OP named Frazier as the culprit, no?
  3. Eagles 28- KC 24
  4. McDermott is the head coach. He also has more power than Beane due to the fact that he pretty much hired him. Fans can gather around him as they choose, and many do so because they are enthralled by the term "process" which he plagiarized. He has been here long enough to correct deficiencies on defense, as well as the lack of protection and weapons for a great quarterback. I dont understand your ferverent support for McDermott but I respect your opinion and obviously I'm entitled to mine. As always, thanks for the dialogue.
  5. McDermott is ultimately responsible for the defense, as well as the composition of the team itself. I am no fan of Frazier but if he is fired he will basically serve as a scapegoat for McDermott's failures.
  6. Yes. The team that played in the 1970 Super Bowl. Thanks. I edited the post to include this..... https://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/kan/1969_roster.htm Thanks.
  7. Which would seem to be quite the tall order with McDermott calling the shots.
  8. I think that Collective Soul and to a lesser degree the Spin Doctors deserve mention.
  9. I would place the 1970 Super Bowl KC Chiefs in there, at #3 behind the Bears and the Steelers. Look at that rost https://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/kan/1969_roster.htm Thanks for this post. 👍🏈
  10. They were too small. The Raider offense stomped all over them in the Super Bowl. It was a brutal mauling. That Raider offense was great and from the opening play had their way with the Vikes.
  11. I am surprised at all of the support for Alec Baldwin. It appears that millions of people want to stand behind him.
  12. I would add safeties to the above. There are 14 safeties on that list of 100, and almost all of them are projected to make less money than those at other positions. I also found it interesting that there we 9 corners, bringing the total to 23 defensive backs out of the 100 players listted. Allowing for 3 corners and 2 safeties, dbs represent 22.7% of the 22 players on the field at most given times. On this list of 100, they represent 23% of the players listed. I found this interesting but I digress. It would appear (at least to me) that safeties are not highly valued as compared to almost every other position. I think VERY highly of Brian Branch at safety coming out of Alabama. He can cover, has very good hands, can blitz very well and is a fearless tackler. That said, I would not want to use a 1st round pick on him. TBH, if it came down to one or the other I would rather use it on a guard.
  13. Conversation is going 'round People talking 'bout the girl who's come to town Lovely lady pretty as can be No one knows her name she's just a mystery I have seen her maybe once or twice One thing I can say ooh she's very nice She's a lady one I really want to know Somehow I've got to let my feeling show She's fresh (fresh) exciting She's so exciting to me She's fresh (fresh) exciting She's so inviting to me yeah
  14. He has the power to do so and isn't lead by the nose by his coach who is calling the shots.
  15. And Coach Saban had it when some of these guys (including McDermott) were kids. https://bleacherreport.com/articles/372107-the-process-sabans-formula-for-life It has always amazed me how folks think that McDermott invented this philosophy. Not even remotely close.
  16. As long as we do not get fleeced the way McDermott did when he went from 10th to 27th. I would even like at least 1 2024 pick to be part of any deal.
  17. Big time thanks for the work that you put into this. Seriously. I do hope that Brian Branch falls into a later round but you are probably right. I am not so fond of Battle.
  18. He couldn't stand him for the last few years. Crosby cost him lots of money be alienating Neil Young and others. Crosby was not a nice person but everybody respected his talent. He was a harmonic genius. Btw I heard an old interview with him in which he said that his favorite band was Steeley Dan, and that Donald Fagen asked him to sing with him.
  19. Everybody's scrambling and running around Picking up their money, tearing the tepee down Foreman was a panic, 'bout to go insane Trying to get the workers out the way of the train Engineer blowing the whistle loud and long Can't stop the train, they gotta let it roll on
  20. The above is a correct and astute observation, but further explanation is in order. Ruggs was a very good wr at Alabama but the truth is, he was never the best receiver on that team. In fact, I'm not sure that he was ever the 2nd best. He played with fellow receivers such as Davonta Smith, Jalen Waddle, and a host of others. I saw a video of Ruggs racing Waddle. It was close but Ruggs beat him by a step. Those teams also had great offensive lines and a head coach who deep down would rather run the ball with a team full of very good running backs who could also catch. In other words, there was SO much talent that really all of their chances were spread out thus limited just a bit. Ruggs and Jameson Williams were the two fastest players that I ever saw at Alabama. I really can't say which one was faster but again, I saw quite a few better receivers than Ruggs. What I will say is that if he had a QB like Josh Allen, Ruggs could have caught 70 yard bombs. I never saw him caught from behind, ever. His off field incident was obviously beyond horrible. 😟
  21. Oh, drawn into the stream Of undefined illusion Those diamond dreams They can't disguise the truth That there is something about you Baby, so right I wouldn't be without you Baby, tonight
  22. Thanks. I was hoping for someone like you to tell me what I should and should not post. i really appreciate it. Please read my future posts and let me know if you think they are out of line. Keep in mind, I really care quite a bit about your opinion.
