  1. I don't know guys, she looks a tad too un-feminine. I prefer the likes of Sharapova. Having said that, I would do either
  2. I think the suspension should stand - I am not sure how many games is the 'right number' but at some point he needs to get more than a slap on the wrist to help him stay out of trouble in the future
  3. Budget ? Size ? Key features you need ? Performance/utility/reliability ?
  4. I also wonder how Derek Fine fits into the TE picture. In the games last year, Fine was not used all the time but looked like he could become an adequate TE. So it will be interesting to see the Nelson vs Fine competition. Hopefully, one of them takes firm charge of the TE spot and becomes a difference maker we have been so sorely lacking over the past several years.
  5. Not a confirmation per se, but a mention of 4 years is here EDIT: Source probably is Tim Graham
  6. Kinda ironic considering his username
  7. The title of the post is your responsibility. The dates in the article indicate Byrd will miss mini-camp but not training camp, which is what the title of your post is.
  8. Have to come to Skooby's defense here. I don't understand why people are hating on him (in this thread anyway). He pointed out something curious and that is it. Could be a typo but so be it. He did not say we signed him or claim any inside sources. If anything, it points to ESPN's stupidity than anything else.
  9. While I don't particularly enjoy re-hashing the same discussion over and over again, the question raised by the OP is legitimate and should be on several people's mind. First of all, this may be his make or break year. Eli Manning blossomed in his 4th year but I don't believe we have that luxury. The reason is that we have beefed up our lines in this year's draft and do not expect them to be dominating this year. So next year will be when we make a serious run at going deep in the playoffs. Trent has to show significant progress this year to show that he is capable of taking the team to the next level. Results so far have been mixed and this year there should be no excuses. Unless ofcourse our OL is a sieve and he gets bashed out of his mind due to lack of adequate protection. Secondly, questioning our players ability does not make one any less of a fan than someone who supports them without analysis. Lastly, we are all behind him - the skeptics and fanboys alike. Wondering what the team does should he fail does not imply I do not support him.
  10. All I know is that we need more Cow Bell.
  11. Aside from her opinions on same-sex marriage, I found it interesting that "The Miss California Organization has confirmed it paid for Prejean's breast implants six weeks before the Miss USA pageant." I guess I was too naive in believing that participants at such competitions are supposed to be all-natural. Not only that, but this organization actually paid for her implants ! I read somewhere else that the organization says it did that to ensure her self-image is enhanced before the event. I truly truly dislike this propagation of the idea that a shapely body is a prime enhancer of self-confidence.
  12. If you are a female, I concur. Have to fill up dem cabaret clubs.
  13. Why is he anointed a diamond in the rough ? He has about as much chance of success as several of the other rookies. I usually appreciate your posts, but this one has me scratching my head (and I don't have head lice).
  14. Sarcasm meter off today, Magox ?
  15. So are you giving the blog an I ?
  16. I don't get it. You grade something incomplete if you believe the product/thesis/paper was not completed to the specifications that you needed or did not answer the question you asked. The draft is complete, the players have been selected. While I agree with the general thought that we should not grade players before a year or two in the NFL, I don't agree with the philosophy of first grading the draft and then awarding it an I. He could have well said that a draft is one event that does not lend itself to grading till a year or two down the NFL road.
  17. I was wondering about Ellis also. He was drafted fairly high and we have heard precious little about his recovery etc. I really hope he is fully healed and starts contributing on the DL.
