  1. I’m usually not a fan of this type of thing, but when it comes to the Patriots I love it. They made a joke of the NFL with their cheating. In fact, I think it should be a ritual at every opposing stadium when Patriots play. Same with Brady.
  2. Hurts is so much better outside the pocket. He’s bad in the pocket.
  3. Gotta run Hurts more. Philly playing exactly how Tampa wants them too.
  4. I don’t think anything’s fixed. I just think the refs are bad and the League makes it worse by trying to cover it up.
  5. It’s beyond time for cameras everywhere and sky judges.
  6. Yep. And when I re-wound it back, the ball was mid-flight around the goal line when whistle blew. WR caught ball near back of end zone. Ball traveled 6-7 yards after whistle blew. Play probably still would’ve been TD but you can’t let it stand. And it makes it worse when the announcers say nothing for 5 minutes and then show a replay that fudges the sound.
  7. It’s not about it being fixed. it’s about doing everything to not make the league look bad.
  8. Re-wound it. The ball was in air when whistle sounded. On replay, ball was in his hands when whistle sounded. Definitely shady stuff.
  9. The whistle seemed earlier real time. The guy catching ball wouldn’t have reacted the way he did if the whistle was as late as the replay seemed to show. I’m not a conspiracy guy, but how does the announcing crew keep their mouth shut for that long, and then the replay they show seems to have the whistle come later than in real time. The ref was blowing his whistle as soon as Burrow’s foot came down when he released the pass.
  10. Guess NFL told the announcers they were now allowed to discuss erroneous whistle that we all heard.
  11. Yes. He shouldn’t have blown it but he did. Play has to be over then. These announcers are as bad as the refs. They’re their to carry NFL’s water. NBA announcers like Van Gundy would’ve been going nuts about this.
  12. the ref blew the whistle. How can you let the play stand?
  13. Easily could’ve thrown flag on 87 for hold on 4th down.
  14. these refs are not throwing flags on anything other than pre-snap penalties. I’m assuming that’s a directive from head office.
  15. How do you not throw to Waller at least once in the red zone?
  16. once again, those 5 yard penalties are drive killers.
  17. How is that a catch? He went to the ground and didn’t maintain possession.
  18. Not sure who else you think should’ve received votes. Oliver came on late in the season. Diggs didn’t have as good a year as the the guys who got votes. And only Rodgers and Brady got any votes.
  19. Allen probably would’ve been ruined on the Jets. And Allen had a lot more questions heading into the draft than Herbert. Heck, I bet Beane would’ve taken Darnold over Allen at the time. Tua and Herbert was definitely more of a debate and Dolphins failed in that decision miserably.
  20. Can you blame Flores? Taking Tua over Herbert could go down as one of biggest draft blunders of all time.
  21. I’m thinking Big Ben goes out like Marino. Maybe not 62-7 but I think Chiefs stomp Steelers.
  22. I haven’t been a huge fan of Edmunds, but he’s played better this year and I think all things considered there’s not 5 MLB’s out there who fit better in this defense. I could live with 5 years $70m.
  23. Sounds like none of the college QB’s in the 1st round discussion are can’t miss types. My bet is Trubisky gets a 1 year deal from a team who drafts a 1st round QB. Maybe a Pittsburgh, Denver, Washington, Minnesota (if Cousins is gone). Not sure he’s much of an upgrade from Wentz and I doubt Indy is moving on from Wentz (after trading a 1st rounder) unless it’s obvious upgrade.
