Devin Singletary not scoring a TD with 34 seconds left
MRW replied to chongli's topic in The Stadium Wall
First, it was not a blizzard. Second, with Hill and Waddle on the other side there is no way I want to give them a shot. One busted coverage or poor tackle and it's off to the races. -

Couldn't you also say that if you can't execute a chip shot field goal you deserve to lose? Nothing is guaranteed but barring way worse weather conditions (i.e. extreme wind) a walk-off field goal is absolutely the right call. -
It's WAAAYYY Overdue - Holding Calls Should be 5 Yards

I agreed, not because I'm sure it's a great idea, but this is the only possible change that could be made without making it too tempting to hold all the time. -
Is Mayfield trying to give his teammates concussions, or himself?
-
Wow, is that Mayfield or Brady out there?

Should the NFL Expand the playoffs to 8 teams and eliminate byes?
MRW replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall
How about this? Top team in each conference gets to decide, bye or home field advantage throughout the playoffs. Second team gets the other. -
Really you don't see a potential loss in that group? I don't think it's far-fetched to come up with a scenario where they lose three of those five. I'm not saying it's likely, I would say 3-2 is most likely, but I'm not sold on Miami to the point that them going 4-1 in the last 5 is a given.

Common man, don't post like that for cheap likes. Have some self of steam.
-
Fair enough, but I don't think anyone here cares who has the tiebreaker between the Chiefs and the Dolphins.
-
That is incorrect, division champion would be determined first, then tiebreakers among the division champions would be evaluated. The Bills, Dolphins, and Chiefs would never be treated as in a three-way tie.

We've seen Super Bowl hangovers from the losing team lots of times, but have we seen anything close to the Rams' collapse from other winning teams in the last 30 years? They're playing themselves out of a playoff spot.

If Beane doesn't do anything before the trade deadline it's an epic fail

You want it all but you can't have it. -

This Pittsburgh defense is so terrible that it's hard to believe the Bills only beat them by 35. -
That really stinks for him and the Jets - only silver lining is with the timing he might be able to make it back at the start of next season.

Goodbye Chargers. Sick of seeing this team get so hyped every season. How about they make the playoffs first. -

Herbert may have size and arm strength, but comparisons to Allen beyond that look more ridiculous with each passing week. -
Bills fans help old man in Steelers jersey during game
MRW replied to BoccesOnTransit's topic in The Stadium Wall
Probably, if you can find someone with a Kiko jersey. -
That makes sense. It's still stupid, but not quite as stupid as it could be.
-
Yeah, that really makes no sense. It's not like you got great insight to begin with, then add on an interviewee who doesn't want to be there...
-
Are sideline reporters actually interviewing coaches while the game is going on now, or are those segments prerecorded?
-
Yeah, I mean certainly KC is one of the top teams in the league over the past 4 years, but there does seem to be a segment of fans that acts like they are champions every year. 4 straight AFC championship appearances is a good run, but there have been better in the past. Now if they win another Super Bowl this year, then maybe it's justified to talk about them in that light.
