  1. My mid round pick for qb this year is foles from Arizona. Reminds me of Matt Schaub and will probably drafted in the same area. I doubt Geno Smith declares this year, but if he does I don't see him off the board until after the 5th round. This was his first year in an offense that truly utilized the passing game and he still has some polishing to do before he makes the leap. However I do look at him as a Seneca Wallace type that could fit well in Gaileys offense after a year or two of work at the NFL level
  2. yeah because Nix didn't come out right away saying they wanted a waterbug RB right away. The idea was to keep him away from San Diego because the Bills and Chargers play a lot...or Nix just wanted to stick it to a former co-worker so he wasted a first round pick in spite. BTW JFK was assassinated by a brainwashed soldier who thought he was a Russian, Coast to Coast is the only true radio show in the US, and Twinkies really can survive a nuclear explosion.
  3. Dont get me wrong I would love to have both these guys on the field together. I was more or less referring to Stevie's need to celebrate and VJ sitting nearly an entire season for more money (BTW he only earned 550k that year because of that). Perhaps Diva wasn't the best word to describe what I was aiming for.
  4. don't see it on itunes yet, but I'm going to keep an eye out for it
  5. I give the kid some credit, but now he's gonna be a marked man in training camp a la Troy Vincent taking out JP.
  6. I think I could deal with VJ over SJ...then again its trading one diva for another.
  7. Clowney is a speedy WR and I believe he does special teams as well. Ran a 4.37 at the combine in 2007. Should bring some speed to camp if nothing else. You won't seem him any higher than 4 on the DC barring injury :::knock on wood:::
  8. its Geno Smith and he's a Junior this year. Watch him tonight and you'll see he needs another year of college, but could be a mid to late round pick as a developmental QB. Tandy isn't bad, but nothing great, Reggie Corner with a little more size and speed. Irvin I've not been overly impressed with, projects as an Arthur Moats type player. right now he's playing DE in a 3-3-5 defense so switching to OLB might be a project
  9. Man its only the first day of the offseason and already people are throwing everything at the wall to see what sticks....
  10. RIP to one of the great unsung heros of Hollywood. Swordplay was something I was always interested in getting into, but my house had low ceilings
  11. To those asking about White he has been a bit banged up with two head injuries along with an ankle and illness. he's been active 11 games and I believe he has been seeing most of his time on st's but don't quote me on that
  12. Gruden did not play pro ball. He was a Qb at Dayton from 1982 to 1984 and was a back up to Phil nussman He went into coaching in 1986 as a grad assistant at Tennessee
  13. My brother is playing, and I think I'm going to start playing as a bounty hunter. What servers are you guys on?
  14. Was about to say, get back to me when he's putting up those numbers as a 34 DE. DE mind you, not a pass rush LBer
  15. Are you suggesting that the NFL Combine start ranking players based on their testosterone levels?
  16. Doubtful, the UFL isn't paying out the absurd salaries that the USFL was at the time.
  17. The Steelers did not trade up to get Roethlisberger, they were 6-10 in 2003 which awarded them the 11th selection in the draft to get Ben. With Ben off the board the Bills took their second choice in Lee Evans then traded up for Losman at 22.
  18. ??? was there a purpose behind this impromptu history lesson?
  19. I came in here looking for NSFW pictures of Lindsay Lohan? Oh they're not here? I'll just post a link to.... I WIN!!!!
  20. That just made my morning. Now if the Bills don't ruin my afternoon I may enjoy my day off
  21. I think the only people in the stadium we haven't taken a shot at on this board are the concession staffs...those slow bast#@!$
  22. LOL the stones one was pretty funny if you're looking for just plain silly humor.
  23. It's a love hate thing. I hate that they play for rival teams, but I love to watch them make the game look so easy. Then of course I hate Brady for tainting Michelle monaghahan then ditching her for Giselle bundschen but that is a different story all together.
  24. To quote Keith Richards "if it's too loud, you're too old" In all seriousness though I haven't been to an arena yet that I've felt the music was too loud or interfere g with the experience. I have, however been to plenty of games that who ever was selecting the music ought to have been hung from the catwalks. I'm not saying the music needs to be blasting ear drums out, but some good loud music helps keep the energy level of the crowd up during long breaks in the action
