  1. Wow after watching that USC game I'm more concerned about Marrone's ability to coach an offensive line than I was about Nassib as a QB. Those tackles were getting blown off the line every play forcing the QB into the DTs. WRs had a ton of drops and blown assignments and the the RB could not get a chip block in to save his life. The first pick was a horrible desperation play by Nassib, he needs to just take the sack there. Trying to do too much. There was a play later in the game that should have been a TD, but there was a bit too much air under it and the DB swats it down. Second pick was a on a batted ball as the pocket collapsed so I can't place all the blame on him. Still, taking him prior to the 3rd is not something I want to see
  2. Unless Gailey and Fitz are gone, I probably will not. I'll just listen every week on WGR over the air
  3. Jason LaConfora tweeting it was Belcher https://twitter.com/JasonLaCanfora
  4. No worse than Thigpen getting clocked in the head during the Toronto game last year
  5. Before today I'm willing to wager the majority of you didn't think nearly as highly of Smith as you do right now. The kid is good, there is no denying that. However, he is in his second year with an offensive system that makes a lot of QBs put up amazing numbers. Look at Graham Harrell's numbers in this offense through his college career: Year School Conf Class Pos Cmp Att Pct Yds Y/A AY/A TD Int Rate 2005 Texas Tech Big 12 FR QB 37 55 67.3 422 7.7 8.8 3 0 149.7 2006 Texas Tech Big 12 SO QB 412 616 66.9 4555 7.4 7.8 38 11 145.8 2007 Texas Tech Big 12 JR QB 512 713 71.8 5705 8.0 8.5 48 14 157.3 2008 Texas Tech Big 12 SR QB 442 626 70.6 5111 8.2 9.0 45 9 160.0 Now look at Case Keenum in the same offense: Year School Conf Class Pos Cmp Att Pct Yds Y/A AY/A TD Int Rate 2007 Houston CUSA FR QB 187 273 68.5 2259 8.3 7.7 14 10 147.6 2008 Houston CUSA SO QB 397 589 67.4 5020 8.5 9.2 44 11 159.9 2009 Houston CUSA JR QB 492 700 70.3 5671 8.1 8.4 44 15 154.8 2010 Houston CUSA JR QB 42 64 65.6 636 9.9 8.0 5 5 159.3 2011 Houston CUSA SR QB 428 603 71.0 5631 9.3 10.6 48 5 174.0 Now lets look at Geno's career through today: Year School Conf Class Pos Cmp Att Pct Yds Y/A AY/A TD Int Rate 2009 West Virginia Big East FR QB 32 49 65.3 309 6.3 5.8 1 1 120.9 2010 West Virginia Big East SO QB 241 372 64.8 2763 7.4 7.9 24 7 144.7 2011 West Virginia Big East JR QB 346 526 65.8 4385 8.3 8.9 31 7 152.6 2012 West Virginia Big 12 SR QB 96 118 81.4 1072 9.1 11.1 12 0 191.2 Excellent numbers, but eerily similar to the future HOFers Harrell, and Keenum. Geno is having a great start to the year, but so far Baylor is the only solid team they've played and this game was an offensive anomaly. We play Texas in Texas next week, which should be a much better barometer than this game was. If he holds up well against teams like Texas, KSU, OU, and such and performs well against that kind of competition then yes I could see him at the top of a lot of draft boards. Right now, I'm going to err on the cautious side. Sorry the stats look awful. where did the table button go?
  6. He's good, but remember this is the offense that produced Graham Harrell and Kase Keenum. Like Tito I'm holding off on the hype until I see him against a few other defenses. Still a very impressive game today, can't take that away from him. Right now I still have him graded in the 3rd to 5th round category
  7. Good, but not nearly as good as the Minnesota Vikings board comparing Bills players to random people (Ryan Denney was a dead ringer for someones female gym teacher)
  8. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Pv7sgU-OBg Still my fave ESPN commercial
  9. The effects of a couple Genny Creams mixed with AJ's Texas Hots
  10. Unfortunately I'm out again this year. Man 2 years in a row the home opener falls on a work weekend.
  11. LMAO. Can't wait to tell the wife this in the morning!!!
  12. are all the teachers at the school hot and horny? holy crap!
  13. IF the O's are in town, definitely take a trip to Camden yards. The Baltimore Aquarium is one of the best I've been to and you should definitely check that out as well. Little Italy is right behind the aquarium and its kinda neat, but nothing like Mulberry St. in NYC.
  14. Any time I think of Kelly running I immediately think of the game where he ran, basically faked a jump shot to which the defender tried to block, then cut back inside for a first down. all without ever bending his knees
  15. Animation looks a lot like Samurai Jack. Any chance that was the animation team that did the work? Any chance Ed is a horrible human being made the reference list? Congrats on the show TG
  16. The crap we played on in high school is nothing like the stuff the pro and upper echelon college teams use. Astroturf was basically concrete covered in green sand paper.
  17. Too high for Osweiler. Also if the Bills pass on Kuechly for Floyd I'd be very upset. Not that I have that much against Floyd, but there is talent to be found later at WR and a LB that could play all 3 positions in our defense would be a much better value pick here. Kuechly and Jeffery/Hill would be my choice for 1st and 2nd picks at this time. If both WRs are off the board, I like Bobbie Massey from Ole Miss
  18. Jp still plays LT even though Vick is a left handed QB. I don't recall a team specifically swapping their tackles to accommodate the QBs throwing arm. The blindside thing is a bit overplayed, teams don't totally swap their players around just due to the Qbs throwing arm, especially since there are so few lefties in the league.
