  1. I’m old I know, but I keep remembering the Jets lost to the Bills the year the Jets won the Super Bowl. The Bills were 1-12-1 that year.
  2. Doesn’t matter if they win out from here.
  3. Bills played them in the wild card a couple weeks later. Was at that game in about the second row at around the 30 yard line on Bills side. Don Shula’s last game as a coach. Pay back for the 1970s.
  4. It’s funny how the pants, when hanging on the wall like that, look like pajama bottoms. Where can I get some? They would be perfect for my trip to Walmart later.
  5. I just don’t think the Bills care about this issue of late season game attendance; they probably have a plan to make it more tolerable, like heated areas to have a drink and watch the game. The Bills are a multi-billion corporation. They know the market. They will be focused on selling licenses and season tickets. They won’t be depending on people buying/using tickets to late season games because the tickets will already be sold. I can see why you and others that buy extra season tickets as an investment (either financially or as a business-related “gift” for customers) are concerned about being able to dump your late season tickets. But the Bills already have your money and they don’t care.
  6. They know exactly how much “human demand” there is because they know you guys have season tickets that you resell. That’s why they made it harder for out of town accounts to buy season tickets. You act like you have some secrets the Bills don’t know about. 🤣 Positive. I couldn’t get anything other than Syracuse stations.
  7. Of those, I was at the Chiefs, Dolphins and Jaguars games and am pretty sure I bought tickets from the Bills as opposed to scalpers, except for the Dolphins game. That used to be a lot of fun though, roaming up and down Abbott Road, checking who had the best seats at the lowest price, waiting as long as possible, right before kickoff, to get the best deal.
  8. If his Mom is at the game, I may need to go to the game. 😍
  9. I remember the Comeback game wasn’t on in Buffalo because my family came out to watch it on the Syracuse station. It’s the only playoff game I remember being blacked out, although I didn’t pay attention to the playoff games I attended in person. But I remember it seemed like at least once a year games needing to be bought out at the last minute to not be blacked out. I don’t know how many playoff games fell into that category.
  10. Wow. That was fast. Where did you find that info?
  11. Sounds like you need to do your own research to answer your question. I’m not sure where you would be able to find that information except from old newspaper articles?
  12. The Comeback game wasn’t sold out. Others only sold out when certain businesses bought up the excess tickets.
  13. Of course they have a plan. The Pegulas are going to be making a substantial investment in the new stadium. They know the current market and know what it will take to sell out the new stadium.
  14. The irony of starting a non-football related thread complaining about non-football related marketing on the football side of the board.
  15. This is why the Bills don’t care if the resale market is soft. They have nearly sold out the entire place with season tickets. They got their money.
  16. Probably because they figure the place will be mostly sold out anyway via season tickets, so the no show seats aren’t that big a deal to them.
  17. If you read the fine print when you signed up for the mailing list that’s exactly what you did.
  18. The comments at the end of this article are tremendous.
  19. It’s only a problem if playoff tickets are available for $8.
  20. It was a big enough deal to start a thread about it….🤔
  21. That’s a really good point. I’m sure it was addressed by the Players Association in the negotiations for the additional game but I’ve never read anything about how.
  22. You wrote: “but it's enough to get me to unsubscribe from the team's marketing emails”. That sounds like you are offended or upset. What else do you expect from “marketing emails”? 🤣
  23. If you are that offended by advertising life must be hard for you.
  24. If you don’t see the difference between an O-lineman getting hurt and Josh going down, I guess we’re done here.
