  1. I couldn't agree more - blades are for single digit handicappers who have the ability to shape their shots, i.e. play a draw or fade when they desire. The rest of us should be using cavity backs - probably oversize. Also I would recommend graphite shafts. They twist less (stiffer torsion) than steel shafts thus produce straighter shots for off center hits. So again, steel shafts are only for people who want to shape their shots.
  2. I used to work for a tree removal comapny back in the early 90's. I used to sharpen chain saws all the time. It used to take me about 20 minutes to adequately sharpen a chain - about 5 minutes to change one. So I guess it's a matter of how much chains cost vs how much a decent file costs.
  3. I don't think that's it. I think it's MSG chintzing on the broadcast because some at work told me the Center Ice feed was excellent.
  4. All year the picture quality has been poor - last night was just awful I think we need to prompt MSG for something better. Email them at msgnetpr@msgnetwork.com
  5. I don't remember that, but I wish they'd bring her back
  6. Or jumping the whale
  7. They have an exercise bike
  8. Bravo! And they play Golf on the island And wasn't Hurley in a Hotel before departing Australia And was Ethan from Quebec? And maybe Eko is of Zulu descent? And maybe the plane was carrying a Kilo of heroin? And maybe the plane was on it's way to India, or Lima? And maybe Sawyer is Romeo to Kate's Juliet? And will Charlie ever play Papa to Aaron again? Did any of this occur in November? It might all be tied to phoenetic alphabet!
  9. Not too long ago, someone posted a link of shortcuts to dial to get a live person instead of automated hell. But I can't find it. I did a search on cheats and live person, but that didn't help. Did anyone save that website info?
  10. According to the ABC website, this episode repeats itself tonight.
  11. After seeing this episode, I don't like Kate very much anymore. Her psuedo-father alluded to it best, deep inside her heart she is a murderer. Anyhow, what are everyone's thoughts on Sawyer's first scene where he mumbles "I love her"? Was he Sawyer at that point or was he already possessed by Wayne?
  12. I'm working right now. Must save that vacation time for Miami next week.
  13. Hasek and Perrault are the only jerseys that should be retired. You can honor other players with a banner or something, but noone else deserves to have their # retired - including Gare, Martin, Robert, Horton and LaFontaine (shortly).
  14. Huh? That doesn't change the odds. It's still 42c6 = 5.25million to 1. What makes a sequence "special"?
  15. Yeah - I noticed - if the bonus # was 42 that sure would be something. Chances of this occurence is 1 in 5.25 million
  16. Go to help and learn about the COUNTIF function. Something like =COUNTIF(range,"Y")/(COUNTIF(range,"Y")+COUNTIF(range,"N")) should work Of course, this doesn't help you if someone enters YES or NO or anything else besides Y or N exacly
  17. Are you sure? I thought it was John Cafferty & the Beaver Brown Band and was featured in the movie Eddie and the Argonauts?
  18. What are your favorite TV theme songs with words? (i.e. no Hawaii 5-0 or Magnum PI) Mine.... Different Strokes
  19. The Hyatt and Comfort Suites are right on Main St where you can catch the train for free right down to the arena. It's not that bad a walk neither. The Hampton Inn is 3 short blocks from Main St to catch the train. Maybe 150 yards at most. I'm thinking each block is less than 50 yards across. The train is free along Main St from Chippewa (Theater District) down to the Arena.
  20. I'm not sure what you mean by "or something along those lines", nor do I know what you mean by "betrayed his friends to better himself". Sayid was never a terrorist. 1. He was in the Iraqi Republican Guard in the first Gulf war. 2. He was involved with Australian agents in busting up a terrorist cell.
  21. Well I found the thread quite amusing. Almost as amusing as when the title is sung in <this version> of the Edmund Fitzgerald
  22. So where does Hacker Pschorr rank? I've been on a quest to find it in WNY ever since I had it in Munich. The only Munich beers I come across are Spaten, Franziskaner and Lowenbrau.
  23. I'm not sure when Ethan "showed up" neither. I didn't get the impression that he was there right away, within 10 minutes, like Goodwin. My theory is that the others spotted both sections of the wreckage as it trailed across the sky. The tail group had the misfortune of being within minutes of where the others are based. The foreward group might have been as far as a day or two hike away. If so, Ethan would've been dispatched right away and probably wasn't around the tail group long enough to "mishear" Nathan's name.
  24. What about Mother's Little Helper and Honky Tonk Woman?
  25. The Bosstones do a fantastic cover of Rudie Can't Fail!
