  6. Remember the game Tic-Tac-Dough? Back in the late 70's or early '80s, I could always predict where the monster (dragon?) was. It's "random" pattern wasn't random neither. Too bad I was only 8 at the time and couldn't compete.
  7. It actually changed on the last two drives of the first half. McGahee finished with 53 yards in the first half after starting with something like 8 carries for 8 yards
  8. I just logged on to comment myself. Craziest thing I've seen in some time.
  9. Good tip XNBL. This from tv.yahoo.com: • UEFA Champions League Soccer - "Liverpool FC vs. Real Betis" ESPN2 & ESPN2HD, Tue Sep 13 02:30pm EDT • UEFA Champions League Soccer - "Manchester United vs. Villarreal" ESPN2 & ESPN2HD, Wed Sep 14 02:30pm EDT

  11. See: this post
  12. From oursports.com: The Buffalo Bills might have the best defense in the league. They held Houston to 120 total yards and recorded five sacks and five turnovers. If the Bills’ offense is consistent, this will be a playoff team.
  13. I'm not a fan of the standing buffalo neither. You can't see the horns, the little eye looks stupid, and I hate how the chin strap covers the logo on most players' helmets.
  14. Let's Get it Onnnnn!!!! Rock 'em, Sock 'em, Buf - faaaaa - loooooohh
  15. Who knows what song the melody in Video 3 is from? It's driving me nuts. Ohh - it just came to me as I was posting this. <Pop Goes The World>
  16. Thanks for the tip. I have no idea what SETANTA is, but I will start checking ESPN2 more often.
  17. I don't know how many regular Premier League games I would watch, but I'd sure love to watch some Champions League games. EuroCup would be great too.
  18. Butler: [ waiting at the door for guests to arrive ] Lord and Lady Wilkinson! Lord Worcestershire: A marvelous entertainment, Salisbury! These chopped steaks are terrific, especially with this delicious mushroom sauce. Lord Salisbury: Thank you, Coming from you, Worcestershire, that certainly is a compliment. [ turns to his guests ] Lord and Lady Wilkinson, welcome! Lord Worcestershire: Tell me, Wilkinson, what the deuce is the purpose of two swords? Lord Wilkinson: It's simple, really. Let's say you're an an attacker. My first blade straightens you upright, while the second clips you neatly at the ankles. Lady Wilkinson: And there's Lady Wilkinson, for attacking your opponent's underarms and legs! Butler: The Earl of Sandwich! Nobleman: Tell me, have you seen Lord Cardigan? Noblewoman: I understand he was turned away at the door.. Nobleman: Lord Cardigan? Why in heaven's name? Noblewoman: He wasn't properly attired. Evidently, he came in a sweater. Nobleman: Odd. I saw Lord Ascot, and he got in.. Butler: The Duke and Duchess of Argyll! Lord Worcestershire: You know, Sandwich.. were the Sandwich Islands named after you? Earl of Sandwich: Oh, no. Everyone asks me that, but I'm afraid nothing has ever been named after a member of my family. Servant: Excuse me, your Lordship, but would you care for one of Lord Salisbury's steaks? Earl of Sandwich: Yes, I would. Would you bring it to me with a couple slices of pumpernickel, please? Servant: Yes. [ steps away ] Butler: Lord and Lady Doucebag! Lord Salisbury: Well, well, well.. I was just asking Lord Sandwich, "Where the devil are those Douchebags?" Lady Doucebag: Well, it has been impossible to get him out of his workshop! He has been working day and night. Lord Salisbury: You, Douchebag? Well, I wasn't aware you dabbled in that sort of thing. What in heaven's name are you working on? Lord Doucebag: Well, I would be happy to tell you.. but perhaps after you have finished eating. Lord Salisbury: Well, here is Chambers right now. Would you like something to eat? Lord Doucebag: We're not too hungry right now - just a plate of raw vegetables. Lord Salisbury: Would you like some dresing with that? Lady Doucebag: Just some vinegar and water, thank you. Earl of Sandwich: Douchebag, how are you? I haven't seen you in the House of Lords in ages! Don't tell me for the first time in memory we are going to have a House of Parliament without a Douchebag? Lord Doucebag: My dear Sandwich, Parliament has always had its share of Douchebags, and it always will. Lord Salisbury: Spoken like a true Douchebag. I have often heard the King speak of your family.. [ to Earl of Sandwich ] ..and of yours, as well: "Give me a Sandwich and a Douchebag, and there is nothing I cannot do." Earl of Sandwich: Hear, hear! Lord Salisbury: So, tell me, Douchebag.. when are you going to show us that invention of yours? Earl of Sandwich: Yes, Douchebag, just what kind of an invention are you sitting on? Lord Doucebag: Well, it's a long story. Why don't we go out to the garden, and I'll explain it to you. Earl of Sandwich: Tell me - did Lady Douchebag help you in the project? Lord Doucebag: Help? Why.. she was the inspiration! [ they exit to the garden to discuss the wondrous invention ] Butler: Lord Compost Heap and Lady Disinfectant Cake! [ fade ]
  19. You lucky sonofabitch. I'm still hoping to go. I struck out in the first two ticket phases. Hopefully I'll get tickets in the next phase. If you need a travel companion, let me know. I already told my cousin from Germany to plan his wedding around the World Cup. I would've loved to go to Columbus also. However, I was planning to be in Pitt for the ND game that night.
  20. Does DirecTV really work that way? The way I understand it is that Adelphia reached an agreement to broadcast Sabres games over MSG in WNY only. That is, the Sabres games will replace the MSG feed at the local cable source. DirecTV will have the national feed out of NYC which is only being replaced locally at the Adelphia control station. Can DirecTV's satellite selectively show differenty shows on the same channel in different locations? Note: I also read Adelphia will be showing 74 Sabres games on MSG
  21. I'll be there. Though tailgate plans won't come together until Friday.
  22. Wow, that was bad. Poor nerd actually thinks he has a sense of humor.
  23. And who could we offer Ottawa for Hossa? We don't have anyone worthwhile to trade for.
  24. Probably 55 Bills / 45 Sabres right now. But probably 70% time spent on NHL to 30% NFL right now following which UFA and RFA are signing where.
