  2. I loved ND unveils "Holding Jesus"
  3. I can't really tell you about rates. But Yahoo! Yellow Pages is wonderful. The one is West Seneeca is Hampton Inn Buffalo South. The one downtown is Hampton Inn Stes Buffalo. Here's a link for other hotels near chippewa. I'd recommend the Hyatt or the Comfort Suites as conveniently located
  4. Are you guys set on a "fanatsy points" league or can I interest you in a "rotisserie league"? I used to do a rotisserie league with the 3 guys I go to games with on ESPN.com. I'm trying to get them to switch to Yahoo because it's free. Why pay $30 for something you can get for free? Well they liked that format which was a rotisserie league with the following details setup: Scoring catagories: Goals, Assists, +/-, PPP, PIM, SOG, Def Pts, Goaltender Pts, SV%, GAA Roster: 9 Fwds, 5 defensemen, 2 goalies, 4 bench, 1 IR What do you think? It'd get you up to 11?
  5. Personally, I'd recommend against staying near the airport. The traffic through the I-90, I-190, Rt 400 interchanges can be tough before the gamr and brutal afterwards. If you like Hampton Inns: - there is one downtown on Delaware and Chippewa if you want to be near nightlife. - there is one on Slade Ave in West Seneca if you want to be near the Stadium There is some good information in <this thread>
  6. Here's the original. Yeah, you can kinda tell it was doctored. http://solport.com/resources/humor/Iron%20My%20Shirt.JPG
  7. Something I've been pondering is whether the island is some government experiment. With 'Quarantine" on the inside of the hatch, maybe the survivors will be subjected to some sort of testing, if they haven't been already. Then maybe the operatives don't want children subject to these tests. That's why they tried to take Claire while she was pregnant. And that's why they took Walt.
  8. McThrillis, I'm interested. Need some info though. Are you running a live or automatic draft? What scoring options are you enabling? And a little info on how the scoring works would be appreciated.
  9. I like the brothers theory. There must have been a reason Jack's dad flew to Australia before drinking himself to death. Maybe there was someone he wanted to see one last time - possibly Desmond, possibly his mother.

  11. I went in 2001. Spent most of my time in the Hacker Pschorr tent. I should dig out those photos.
  12. Saw them both. That was one of the funniest Office episodes so far. I also liked Earl. It had a real Raising Arizona feel to it.
  13. She certainly is. I still think about the scene where she is lying on the bed.
  14. Football, Porno, and books about war
  15. A local boy, Kevin McCarthy, does that tune every once in awhile.
  16. I taped it and watched it last night. The boy with the severed hand was hysterical. And there were some very risque comments in there - the tuna melt, rubbing off on your cousin Right up my alley!
  17. Did you do your nails while watching it? Total chick show.
  18. Nordic??? Isn't she Canadian?
  19. Spirit of the West's "The Crawl" ain't bad neither
  20. Did you pick up any of Jerry's sneakers from Mom and Pop's garage sale? (Sorry, it was on last night)
  21. So now that we're in the OT Forum, how does everyone feel about geggytah's suggestion of using separate threads for each episode as in LOST - S2Ep1 - Man of Science, Man of Faith?
  22. I'd get to as many different cities and stadiums as I could. I'd start by picking Bills road games in cities where I haven't been. Then I'd pick as many Sunday and Monday night games as I could so I could still watch the Bills at 1PM before heading to the game.
  23. OK - Forgive my string of posts here. Just getting caught up on the last few pages as I'm gearing up for the season premiere. Anyhow, after watching Exodus again the other night, I'm even more confused about this monster/machine. I used to think it was some type of snare that clamped onto Locke and dragged him into the hole by his leg. But after rewatching that scene the other night, I came up with this question -- if it was a snare and chain that latched onto Locke, then why wasn't the end of it still attached to Locke's leg when Kate threw the dynamite down the hole? You would think there would be some sort of remnant still clamped onto his leg if it was a mechanical device.
  24. Sorry - I think I agree with geggytah. I liked the format last year with a new thread each week. Then if you wanted to refer back to a point, or refresh yourself on a previous discussion, you didn't need to search through so many pages. The only problem last year was that multiple people started multiple threads for the same week. If we can agree to keep it to one thread per episode, I don't think we're asking for too much space compared to some of the other OT things that go on here.
