  1. That's a hell of a catch. Billy Ray Gallion appeared as Randy in Ep 1.4 Walkabout and Ep 2.4 Everbody Hates Hugo. http://imdb.com/title/tt0411008/guests
  2. I don't remember "Kenny is a Tomato". What happened in that one? Two of my favorite Cartman episodes are: - when he gets glasses and the eye chart reads I AM A LITTLE PIG E - when they go to Kenny's house and Cartman sings "In the Ghetto"
  3. I don't want any more surprises. I'd like some friggin answers to the dozens of open questions.
  4. http://www.lowbrowlowdown.com/sound_files/talkinproud.mp3
  5. Nope. Did they give his name in the Walkabout episode? I know they gave it in this episode. I'll have to rewatch it to catch it.
  6. Here's something I caught while rewatching the episode this morning. While trying to get Hurley to disclose what was inside the hatch, Charlie says something like: "Sorry I didn't go SWANNING off to the Black Rock" Interesting choice of words, eh?
  7. While listening to the game through some headphones at the stadium yesterday, I heard Jeff Burris report: "Curtis Martin's feet are always close to the ground"
  8. Now that, my friends, is one of the best illustrations of irony I ever saw.
  9. That's immediately what I thought - Nick was playing Spin the Bottle with three Special ladies.
  10. It looked like there was a lot more than 30 days worth of food for 1 man in that pantry. The problem was they put the fat guy in charge. 30 days of food for the fat guy might be 150 days for an average person.
  11. The two seasons thus far have only comprised 40-some days. When you have as much stored body fat as Hurley, he's not going to look like Nicole Ritchie in 40 days. After all, the fat fairy in Survivor I was still kinda chunky at the end.
  12. That would make sense. I believe in the film last week the limp-armed narrator only called station 3 of 6 "The Swan". So the other stations might have different symbols within the octagonal 'I Ching' logo symbol of the Dharma Initiative.
  13. First of all, who is Steve? Was that the guy Ethan killed? Secondly, there are more than 4 who have died. Artzt, Boone, the guy killed by Ethan, the woman who drowned, the marshall euthanized by Jack (Ep 2 or 3), the pilot, and the guy sucked through the engine.
  14. I never thought he was the big black guy, he seemed too young. As far as being white, I can't say I expected that. Wasn't Sayid in "University" before he ended up in the Iraqi National Guard? He could've taken some engineering courses. Nothing he has done seems that far out of the ordinary for an average Electrical Engineer (other than date Shannon). Especially an engineer with military training. I agree. It's a big strectch to think the owner remembers who bought which lottery ticket. Even if Hugo did tell him how he picked his numbers, I doubt the owner commits those #'s to memory off a story from a customer.
  15. Do you think he might sign my friend's #32 jersey with a nameplate that says "Guilty"?
  16. You know I wish that I had Jessie's girl, where can I find a women like that?
  17. So Desmond crashed in a balloon? I guess I didn't hear that. Maybe "You have to lift it up" refers to fixing the balloon as a means of escape. Also, I was wrong about de Groot. The de Groots were the husband and wife scientists at the University of Michigan. Hanso (of the Hanso Corporation) was the benefactor of the project. Finally, I couldn't find the Korean Octagon symbol on the gate at Locke's "father figure's" house.
  18. Ha - I can dig it
  19. Snopes reports it has happened on the island but it is not widespread. It also makes mention of the "island's large population of unwanted strays (estimated at 150,000)." To me, I'm not overly concerned. What is the difference whether they use a halibut, a cat, a dog or a calf? Where do you draw the line? With me it's only in two spots - humans and endangered species. I'd rather see them sacrifice a stray dog than have that shark bite some kid's leg off.
  20. Really? I missed that. That would be interesting. This brings me back to the shark fin last week, where was the symbol? On the dorsal fin or the tail fin? I never saw it.
  21. Are you talking founder or the benfactor that funded the project? Wasn't the name of the guy who funded the project 'de Groot'? I made a mental note of that name because I recognize it from somewhere also - but it escapes me. It might have something to do with math or finance or maybe science. A quick google search didn't help me much.
  22. Everytime I hear that I think of the Marine Biologist episode of Seinfeld where George keeps calling whales "fish" and Jerry keeps interrupting "mammal". But now we're getting way off topic.
  23. The whole time I was thinking - damn, I wish I had ABCHD!
  24. Flank steak you say? I got a great meat dish you guys ought to try for your barbecue. It's really easy to prepare. Here's what you do. You go over to your grocery store - Pick yourself up some cow tongue - and some nice bacon - then pick yourself up some lovely lovely freshly cut flank steak. It's my own recipe friends. I call it 'LICK MY GREASY ASS!'"
  25. A friend just emailed me the message below. I don't know who this feller is, or where my friend found this message, but I'll find out and edit this message ================================================== Will The Sabres Unveil New Jerseys Tonight? Paul Szeglowski - Wednesday, October 5th, 2005 Buffalo, New York (TSR) -- It might as well be the best kept secret in town. A secret even kept from many employees and players within the Buffalo Sabres organization. However, rumors are rampant this morning on the opening day of the 2005-2006 NHL season. Various sources told me that the Buffalo Sabres will be unveiling new jerseys at tonight's home opener against the New York Islanders. Not much is known about the new jerseys other than they will be a modernized Blue and Gold version. The Buffalo Sabres have not denied that they will be returning to Blue and Gold, but not until next season. However, that appears to be a smokescreen for one of the many surprises expected tonight. Tune in tonight or better yet make your way down to HSBC Arena to see the new future of the Buffalo Sabres and the new NHL.
