well, Casey was allowed to burn his first year of the ELC for 12 games(appx) cause the Sabres were in dead last and desperate. ROR needed to get traded cause the Sabres were in dead last and he wanted out. So both "mistakes" were caused with the Sabres being in dead last on a team that did not have dead last talent. So yep, both of those are on Housley..( and Botts for caving to Mitts and and his agent)

I disagree this was all based on the ROR deal. I said it at the time it happened, they were dumb as stumps to burn the first year of his ELC in that first putrid season with Housley at the helm.It all goes back to Housely being the worst coach in the history of the NHL, now he has ruined Mitts, cost us ROR, lord knows what other damage that dude has done to the team.? Just a heads up, Kyle does a weekly segment with Murph and Tasker every Tuesday at 1pm. Only time I listen to that show. Hw is AWESOME! he loves the Bills, loves Billsmafia, and wants to see them do well. All he is saying is the Bills are good, they are prolly better than the Pats, no more moral victories , go out and slay the freaking dragon ! only thing i will say is that group was cohesive in different ways. I was pretty much same age as those guys back then, and 86-87 i lived in Buffalo, and hung out in places those guys would go to as well. Pierce Arrow in Williamsville was definitely a big time club for those guys back in the day, and while to a man they were all pretty big douches to all the dudes in the place..at least they were being douches as a team! Bruce, Andre, Jimbo, Biscuit..saw those guys in there a ton. Tuesday nights watch out for that crew! Then you would also see them at other random places hanging out..Jimbo and Andre were regulars at the Bisons Friday happy hours at the Rockpile..can always remember thinging " good sign these guys are boys off the field as well" .

Last Bills game my brother and I went to together was the 2011 Pats game..what an awesome game. Little bit of him sprinkled in lot and a little on the field! His kids went to his niche after the Dolphin game few years back and drank one with him to celebrate the drought be over. BTW, i loved the guys on the video last week who bring their best friend to the games with them in the playmate cooler, i have to remember to make that change to my will. Where else would i want to spend my eternal weekends than with my nephews at Bills tailgates!

I believe the Bills have drawn stronger ratings in the Thanksgiving hame and Sunday night game than other teams in the same slot. And don’t underestimate the draw of #billsmafia and how electric that stadium will be with all the expectations next year will bring.
