great point on the "lifestyle" comments..arguing with my nephews that was a general statement for everyone in the organiztion...in other words we have to have a plan and execute it successfully for us "all" to maintain our lifestyles.Like in any company. And yep, said in the thread on the TSW..not expecting folks just let go " with cause, in other words just not form the Covid, to be singing the Pegulas praises. I put them on blast for their decision to not pay gameday folks...but this is a different story altogther...(this is a different story said by everone in this thread right now)

The Next Pandemic: SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19

Listen, I am what most here would call on addled with TDS. Having said that, why in Gods green earth would you believe one thing that comes out of the WHO. They just incorrectly posted crap about Remisvider(sp) from the Chinese, which knowledgable people are knocking down all over the place. I will trust Cramer and his sources 1000% over the WHO -
Well seeing as how you can’t count to 5, it’s a wonder you don’t own Vegas! ( unless there is a tv I can’t see in that picture)

Thank god our courses in VA never closed! Never seen it as packed as it was Sunday, but everyone was smart and safe. Rounds are going faster as gimmes are longer and we are letting you improve your lie in bunkers... -
Gronkowski dead Cap: Pat's Fail

By all accounts, just as important to their success as any player not named Brady..huge loss for them , especially in a shortened offseason -
That would be a total DVR , watch in the morning without looking at your phone. I still; do this for West Coast games.

COVID-19 - Facts and Information Only Topic
plenzmd1 replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in Off the Wall
K, i don't know how to read this article correctlytly, our fearless leader @Hapless Bills Fan will need to show me where the below conclusions are stated in the pre print( which i have now learned has not been peer reviewed..correct?) https://www.medrxiv.org/content/10.1101/2020.04.05.20051540v1 Anyway, this is synopsis of what i saw on CNBC with their CEO. BioBot small starup that can analyse wastewater and understand where ceratin thisgs are happening..finding where opiod use is heavy for instance. CEO mentioned developing countires are using their tech to spot out breaks of polio before sysmptoms present. Today, she said they did a study of Wastewater on a portion of the Boston area on March 25 showed in an area with 2.3M people, there could be upwards of 115,000 infected. At that same time, there was 446 confirmed cases of the virus. WOW -

Fair point, and i am not implying they are making things up. What I am saying is is you had an executives there that , according to Kim Pegula, lied to them and were making decsions in their best interets, not their employers best interest. If that is the case, you can damn well be sure those that worked with/ for those execs knew the exact same thing...leading to a toxic culture. TAnd very few folks get fired and praise the folks who just fired them. The nepotism stuff happens at any family run business... -

Not saying that didn’t happen, but as a guy in commission sales for going on 30 years, commissions are always all buggered up. lord knows what the plan was , how complicated it is, what they use to calculate it, what SPIFs ( incentives) are in in a given month. my over generalization is 90% of commission reports have an error on them , and the average sales person spends about 10% of their time reviewing, correcting, and fighting for what’s owed them! -

@SeattleBills, please don’t post entire articles. we can all see why you joined, and it makes my point. People who have lost their jobs are naturally upset. That have to blame someone, never themselves, and that is the Pegulas now. People on the Sabre thread , including @JohnC can tell you I was lambasting the Pegulas to their initial response to game day employees etc. but things have changed drastically in the 6 weeks since that fateful Wednesday. And for Kim to come out guns ablazing , man , that should tell ya something. When is the last time an exec got fired and you did just not hear the perfunctory “ thank for their service and wish them well”. Implying some of these folks had motives other than making the teams and PSE successful is pretty damning, and I am sure pretty open from a liability standpoint. I mean she says flat out we were lied to and given false information. Wow. I put zero stock in ex employees replying anonymously. -

quotes from 39 disgruntled employees does not make things "facts". Sure sounds like something nefrious was going on with some these people.. -

Not one single buinsess in the whole of the US had a plan for a pandemic that shut down the entire economy...think ia little POsted in the Sabre thread, Kim went full blast mode here. This was about way more than cost cutting, this was we was getting screwed by Exewcs that did not have the best interests of the team or PSE at heart..which leads to a "toxic work culture" and Executive teams not being trusted. Common in tons business that not meeting goals and being successful. I would have expected respnces from terminated people in a pandemic to be any different -
Oh my, Kim was on full blast on some of these execs no? Wonder WTF happened when she says they were wrong to keep some of the execs and that they trusted people and made descions on information that was wrong and not in the best interests of the team. I would have thought both parties would have signed non disparagement clauses in a separation agreement..maybe only the execs had to do that.
