  1. I completely agree - On Any Given Sunday. To your points: 1. I fully expect to see this team come out with a new attitude. "Football is a tough game for tough people." - no more soft Jauron teams or slow start to the season. 2. If the D players we got in the draft can at least contribute, not even start full time, we should be better. Let's hope that Byrd continues to pick apples this year! I have total faith in Gailey's O, at least you KNOW we'll be running the heck out of the ball. The line and passing game are still a worry, but hopefully Chan can find ways to protect and keep teams on their toes with the run... 3. Again, attitude - I think we'll play tough football for 60 full minutes. I would also add that I like that we have our entire division in the first four weeks of the season. It might give us a chance to sneak up on the them a bit. Let's hope that Chan follows through on making the Ralph a tough place to play again - tough football, crazed fans! I'll be there to make it scary for the fins, game 1!! Go Bills!
  2. No grades here, but a good recap. http://www.buffalorumblings.com/2010/4/24/...l-draft-buffalo Interesting that it says Gailey has been intrigued with Brown for a while... I like what we did this year, some projects, but we're building toward an end goal for once!
  3. Jim Miller was just talking up the Brown pick, said the Bills liked Lafaver (sp), but ended up with their second choice. Big measurables, Gailey might be able to do some special things with him.
  4. http://www.nfl.com/draft/2010/profiles/mar...asley?id=497286 Easley is a very raw talent who struggled on the bench for three years before bursting on the scene during his senior year at UConn. He has a rare combination of size and straight-line speed and can make acrobatic catches. The problem is Easley does not appear to trust his hands and will not only drop some catchable passes but tends to let the ball get into his body to trap it rather than reach out to pluck it. He is a bit of a strider and will need a lot of work on getting in and out of his breaks. The nice thing is that he has a good chance to see some action on special teams. He was a core special-teams performer at UConn during his first three years as he tried to earn a scholarship.
  5. Can't believe there's not more freaking out! A raw WR that's a good special teamer...
  6. Positive article. File as inaccurate / close thread.
  7. Why would the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel be the foremost source on this? Make a lot of sense...
  8. Ha - my friend said the same thing. I'm sure it was pitched as "edgy"...
  9. lol - Ross Tucker Twitter: Jimmy Clausen and Colt McCoy need to figure out which one will be Chad Henne and which one will be Brian Brohm two years from now.
  10. NFLN And people wanted Holmgren here running the show.
  11. Browns fans - stoked. This is getting pretty exciting for us!
  12. NFLN just said that Cleveland said it doesn't look like they're going to pick a QB o_O
  13. Oh crap, I didn't realize this started at 6 - thank god for twitter...
  14. I love that Spiller keeps talking about the tradition in Buffalo and said the goal is the Super Bowl!
  15. I love the format - if nothing else today is pretty fun! Lots of rumors and I bet they'll just continue to grow as the day gets closer to the kick off of round 2 later. I also like that I don't have to stay inside all weekend to watch the draft - prime time I'm in front of a TV be it at home or at the Moose!
  16. That's what I was thinking too - give the Rams him and our pick for #33
  17. Twitter: "Filed to ESPN: Bills and Browns have contacted the Rams about trading for the No. 33 pick. Jimmy Clausen, Colt McCoy in play. #nfldraft" And Sirius seems to think that McCoy will end up in Cleveland and Clausen in Buffalo! I'd take it...
  18. This just makes me like Buddy and the Spiller pick even more. I, for once, have faith that the FOOTBALL men in charge of the Bills will get us some good players in this draft!
