Ironic that going into the season everyone (or a lot of the national media) thought that the O Line and Bell in particular would be our downfall. Run D, I'm looking at you... If Bell and Ftiz finish out the season strong, our options in the draft open up! Looking forward to seeing what happens tomorrow for sure.

These are definitely not Nike renderings, still there are a few good ones in there. Buffalo's is decent - I like the helmet for sure! There were a few that were pretty bad though, Pittsburgh's stands out. Come on, would Nike put fake diamond plate on a yellow Steelers helmet? Rainbow stripe sleeve? Awful number font? Nope.

Like I said in my OP LaConforta said that Vick is going to be franchised by the Eagles and he'll either play there or be traded. Just throwing the hypothetical out there to fans and friends - would you get him if you could? For all the complaining people do about our QB's (even when they're playing well like Fitz), I'm surprised more fans wouldn't take a shot at him... And as I posted later in the thread, if he's franchised it'll take TWO first rounders to get him. I'm pretty sure not many on TBD are taking that deal, but I think we'll be surprised at the teams that do want in the Vick sweepstakes. For my money we take Luck, let Fitz mentor him for a year and build from there.

Interesting, I thought that more people would jump on that deal. For the record, never did I say it would be a good deal - just that Vick is playing pretty amazing football. I'm a Fitz guy, for now... Also, depending on the tag, it would take two first round picks to get him. It'll be fun to see how it all plays out next year.

Just listening to LaConforta talk about Vick next year - he said he'll most likely be franchised (to the tune of $20+MM for a year) and someone will give him a huge contract. I think it would be hard for the Eagles to let him go, but the #1 overall is pretty good trade bait... I'm wondering how many people would take that deal? Obviously Luck is the wild card (no pun intended, ?), but Vick clearly can run an NFL offense. And if Chan can make Slash, Slash, one can only wonder what he could do with Vick. Right now, I'm still of the "build through the draft" philosophy, but Vick running our O would be scary.

Here's a question - would you rather have Fitz and the chance to draft a rookie QB, or McNabb for 5 years at $78mil? I mean he's a "franchise QB" guy... Fitz is our guy for the next couple years, IMO.

Interesting that this feels like an interview that the Buffalo radio media could never get. Nix definitely believes in his "playmaker" and BPA philosophy.
