  1. Dr. Rosenrose and Scotty, can you add a couple more to the tailgate? Looks like I'm in - I'm nearby, I have a hotel in Buffalo Sat and Sun night, now all I need are a couple tickets No worries though, hopefully my corporate sponsor will come through on Tuesday! Definitely looking forward to seeing the TBD crew once again...
  2. Anything without a dl?
  3. They need to expand the fan base so that companies across the boarder view the Buffalo Bills as a legit advertising opportunity. They don't really need more "fans" (though I'm sure with the flight from the area we could argue they do), but they do need more corporate dollars... In the end this was just supposed to be a fun thread, a "what if". Funny to see tempers flair. Truth be told I love the Ralph and I'm fine with going to games in OP (it's even closer to Bradford and no move is going to make the stadium closer to Vermont). But I would also be open to a downtown or NF stadium - like someone said earlier, hearing and seeing the falls in the background would be sick! Can it happen? Doesn't really matter for a theoretical thread, IMO.
  4. Funny they were just talking about Vlad on Sirius - they said if he doesn't improve big time and soon that Sanchez is going to get killed this year!
  5. Oh, yeah, there's that too. Those bridges over Grand Island are a freaking mess - guess we'll need to fix that before NF grows...
  6. I say put it on Goat Island! I haven't been to NF in probably 8 years, but I was on the American side last year and was pretty surprised to see the growth on the Canadian side. Clearly there's potential for tourism in the area - but I doubt the WNY government will get it together to grow the area... I'd go for a stadium in the falls, but the whole US side needs a revamp.
  7. I'm about to jump in - seems exciting to watch a game where we actually look decent. On O at least...
  8. Second best in the league behind the Jests according to an NFLN graphic I saw last night...
  9. Totally agree - it's so funny that all of the prognosticators nationwide feel that the Jets are set at the QB position. Sanchez was good at points last year, but also downright terrible at times last year - if you saw the Hard Knocks thread, you know I think he seems pretty immature and unfocused this year. Guess we shall see. I get that he's young and was a high draft pick, but let's not put him in the "established" column just yet...
  10. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/story/13815243/bills-camp-report-chan-the-man-that-can-help-qb-edwards-needs Nice article, I loved this quote from Whitner: "Because of the coaching staff," said safety Donte Whitner. "I don't mean to knock anybody, but I know with some of the things we did in the past some of the teams would look at us and guys would say, 'We don't understand what you guys are doing.' We sort of had our own ways of doing things, which were unique to the National Football League. "Guys would say, 'You come out and play hard, but no adjustments? We knew you would do this and do that.' [The difference is] having a coaching staff that knows we have to make adjustments." Couldn't agree more!!
  11. Yup, JW is lying to make you look wrong o_O
  12. It's a little tough to say, because you don't see what they edit out (and they can make a story line look like whatever they want)... That said, Sanchez seems pretty immature - not really paying attention, screwing around, in fact the entire team (or scene) doesn't seem overly disciplined. It'll definitely be interesting to see what happens to Sanchez and crew as the season goes on.
  13. Awesome report, thanks Astro...
  14. You're either with us or against us! I freaking love it and I bet this is just another little thing that is going to help pull this team together this year...
  15. Looking good - nice work Scott!
  16. He was on with Adam Schein and Ross Tucker... - Talked about his great TD - Talked about his peripheral vision - Asked about his role, if he'll be starter? He's ready to play any role, help the team - Does he need lots of touches, or is he cool with sharing time? He's fine with sharing, RB's take a pounding. Praised Lee, Roscoe, TE's and "Commander in Chief" Trend Edwards in charge - What did he think of Trent's performance last night? He's a great QB, it's his job to lose, great poise, came back strong from the big hit, he's put in a lot of hard work. - As a guy from the south, how much did you know about Lee Evans? He had heard about him, knew he has strong hands and speed, hard worker, carries himself with character - Goals, specific numbers? Win the Super Bowl - that's his only goal! - Nelson suspension. Spiller didn't know about it, can't collaborate on it... - Atmosphere in Toronto? Like it, had never been there, it got loud for them - You say Super Bowl, how do the Bills shock the world. Don't worry about critics, just worry about the game, work, believe in ourselves, we have enough talent, move forward - don't go back, it's not going to be easy, no one is giving us a chance, we need to take care of business. No one gave the Saints a chance (?) and they won it all... At the end both Schein and Tucker said the has a great opp to be in the mix for Rookie Of The Year. Tucker said he *is* playing with "caption checkdown" so he'll get the ball a lot (lol). All in all a nice little interview, you have to be more than a little pumped up about Spiller's potential!
  17. Belinda, for the moment...
  18. Holy, in the second pre-season game they're already out-playing last year - same ups and downs though...
  19. Whatever man - I'm hoarding gas, guns and zippo lighters! PANIC!
  20. WRONG! Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue...
  21. Dude, Trent is sucking, but be real - that O line is ass tonight...
  22. Seriously, this is (was?) the ONE thing we're good at...
