  1. I have two: 1) I like this one as it brings me back to earth when my job sucks: "A sure sign of an impending nervous breakdown is the belief that one's work is terribly important" - Bertrand Russell 2) I like this one for the sheer arrogance (it's pretty funny too): " I drink to make other people interesting" - George Jean Nathan Cheers! :D
  2. If you've not been to Key West before and enjoy Blues, you should check-out the Green Parrot. They have a good happy hour and many times, the evening band plays a warm-up set or two during HH.
  3. We'll be there too but this is our first game in Miami so not sure of all of the activities other than a party at the Big Easy in Hollywood, FL. I'm looking for tailgate advice and any other gatherings of Bills fans on Saturday and Sunday. Thanks!
  4. Campers in Camper lot, thru Drive 2. Check out this link for all the details: RWS Stadium Guide
  5. Very Cool. I bet you are right and that we'll see this in major sports in the not-too-distant future. Imagine what the government has floating around out there in GSO. Somewhat related (but not the same): After the Home Opener, the Bills sent me an email with a panoramic image of the Ralph taken during the game. You could manipulate the image to find yourself in the stadium (and order the photo ). Almost indistinguishable from magic to this old-timer.
  6. Gotta say, I listened to those boys just about every day and I only ever heard them call her Limo. But hey WTFDIK. BTW...Who is this? I know an awful lot of the Bills/Sabres fans in MSP and your screen name is kind of, well...ironic. Send me a PM?
  7. Our local World of Beers is having a Southern Tier night next Tuesday. 7 brews on tap including the Pumpking, IPA and Double IPA. Can't wait!
  8. Her nickname on Mpls radio was "Limo".
  9. I never miss the opportunity! I used to forget which concourse until I associated B with BEER . Both the IPA and the the 420 Extra Pale are very good. Oh, and one I haven't seen listed, if you're ever in the Upper Midwest: Summit Extra Pale is solid.
  10. Love Southern Tier IPA and Avery is also pretty darn tasty if you can find it.
  11. Had the pleasure of being on the same flight, seated next to her, out of MSP several years ago. Every guy seated around us was infatuated and trying to make conversation (with her!). She was a great sport about it, was very funny and much nicer looking in person than on TV. Couple that with being extremely knowledgeable about sports and...well...total package.
  12. Agreed. I'd drop ML for Ridley.
  13. Playing for 1st place this week and am having a tough time with my flex. Non-PPR league, standard scoring with 1 pt per 10 yds Ru and/or Rc. Starting RB's = AP & Ryan Mathews Starting WR's = Calvin & Stevie Flex option = Jahvid Best (@ Dallas) or Denarius Moore (home vs Patsies) What say you?
  14. My wife and I have visited the Bay area at least once every year for the past 26 years. EVERY trip begins with checking into our hotel and walking down the the Buena Vista for an Irish Coffee (decaf for me and hi-test for the missus) . For us, there's no better way to get into the "feel" of the city than starting there.
  15. The big three on the "O" have proven themselves since the middle of last season ( and FJ even longer). Time to show the entire organization that dedication and hard work are rewarded. I hope that the Bills can get Fitz, FJ and Stevie re-signed very soon. IMO, it will be a big statement to the team and other players throughout the league.
  16. When the score hit 21-0, I left the usual Bills bar to go meet-up with a bunch of friends at the local Vikings bar who promised to have the Bills' game on for me. Needless to say, our 2nd half was a whole lot better than theirs. I'm not invited back I'm showing-up next week anyhow
  17. I dunno if you're nuts… I was kind of thinking the same thing. Not so much as a charade but more in-line with not turning him loose in the first 2 weeks. I believe (or maybe it's just "hope") that the Bills will have a strong pass rush game-planned for Brady and that SM will figure quite prominently in that scheme.
  18. ...God, but they remind me of the '70's teams that were sooo bad for sooo long. At least the red helmies represent our Super Bowl years and have a little glory behind them. Seen the roadies and now the "homeies". Negatory for me.
