  1. Said he's heard a bills/Giants (12 to 2) swap is not going to happen, but he's hearing more about the Bills and Browns (4th pick). And then he said if that happens he could see the Bills (4) and NYG (2) getting a deal done. If the Bills are trying to leap frog the Jets you would think it would be for someone other than Allen since he's the only one not being tied to them in reports
  2. I'll initially be disappointed because my favorite idea is Rosen, but I'll be happy that the Bills got their guy. I just want a horse in this race. I don't want to wake up Friday Morning wondering if Luke Falk will fall to us in round 2, or hoping Mason Rudolph was just underrated by everyone. I want the Bills to get their guy, and I'm fascinated to see who their guy is. If it's Josh Allen, let's go. We got a Qb. If It's Josh Rosen, I'll do a couple extra fist pumps on Thursday Night when his name is announced.
  3. Here is how absolutely jaded I am. I read "Close to Rudolph's family" and I immediately think.."SCREW THIS POST. THIS POSTER IS A FRAUD, HE DOESN'T KNOW ANYTHING. JUST LOOKING FOR CLICKS!" Then i go on to read "Baker Mayfield" and I'm like "Oh yeah, this sounds credible. I think it's probably true"
  4. I was definitely hoping for Clausen. And then when he fell to round 2 I thought for sure they'd try to trade up and get him. When they took Troupe it was such a let down
  5. Nate Geary had a couple interesting tidbits yesterday. Take it for what it's worth. 1) Bills have already offered the Giants 3 first round picks for 2, and it wasn't enough. Perhaps that was their breaking point and that's why the Rapsheet story came out about them not looking at 2 anymore 2)He's heard the Bills like Rosen. Didn't say if they have him ranked as their top qb, but at the very least it means they aren't one of the teams that dropped him for character/durability. Either way, 4 more days. We will make it!
  6. My friend, I truly don't care if you believe it or not. I heard it today on WGR and thought I would pass it along. If you want to chalk it up to BS, have at it. Whether or not you (or anyone) believes the report makes no difference to me whatsoever.
  7. Nate Geary said today in WGR two team sources have told him the bills had a deal in place with the colts to get to 3 and the Jets deal with them really hurt. He also said that's why they traded Tyrod. Not sure if he meant because they knew they were getting to 3 or if the 3rd round pick from Cleveland was a part of the trade package
  8. Former first round pick, but the Vikings had an awful offensive line last season. I really have no idea how he has been the last few years Jeff Darlington‏Verified account @JeffDarlington 31s31 seconds agoMore Tackle Andre Smith, who spent 2016 with the Vikings, is set to visit the Bills, source says. Also watch for potential reunion with Bengals.
  9. To me this reeks of a contract negotiation. When teams and free agents to be get close to a deadline, they both tend to strong arm each other in the media, leaking it out like they are content to move on if no deal is reached. IMO, the Bills still 100% prefer to keep Taylor, but want to get his price down. Threatening to not pick up his option and release him could just be a strategy to get his side to budge. Realistically, Taylor will (and should) get at least 30 million gtd in free agency if he hits the market, so there's no reason for his side to do anything but wait out the Bills
  10. Awesome man! My girlfriend was recently diagnosed with MS, and I also have an aunt and a family friend who live with it. Great job raising this money toward the cause!
  11. I used to work as at Dairy Queen, so I can confirm this is a sweet idea! I honestly have no idea who Drew Coleman is, but does anyone remember Clarence Coleman? Man he had a good preseason in 2003.
  12. Maybe one day we'll all admit we read from the same $7 draft magazines and watch the same youtube highlights. Some people like to pretend like they sit in their basement and watch "game tape", but they don't. It's not available to the general public. It's funny though
  13. I tried to ask him what number Michael Floyd would be wearing, but they didn't answer it for some reason
  14. 1) I wouldn't draft a guard 10th over. 2) Levitre is already a very good guard, so drafting a very good guard to take his spot isn't really upgrading that position. Rather, you're hoping he is as good as Levitre. 3) When healthy, the O-line played very well last year, now isn't the time to start shuffling guys around. 4) Levitre has no better/worse chance of being successful at LT than Chris Harriston, who is more prototype size, and has been working there for the last year.
  15. Considering it's Tuesday, Im bored at work and nothing is going to happen until a week from Thursday, I am in favor of a lot being made of this. I need something to entertain me
  16. wow, if you think that's bad, look what he said to the media after the game
  17. To me this is applying a baseball philosphy to football. In baseball, a .320 hitter is a .320 hitter, and will in all likelihood will be that regardless of location or teammates. (Obviously there are exceptions). But with the front the Bills built......investing in Super Mario...spending a high draft pick on Dareus and paying a big money extension to Kyle Williams, the right defensive end is (in theory) going to be facing A LOT of one on one blocking. Prior to the Anderson signing, the Bills didn't currently have a guy on their roster who can consistently win one on one battles, and without that at RDE, you really take a lot of the effectiveness away from the big 3 next to him. So yes, Anderson may not be the guy you want on the field on 3rd and 1, but on 3rd and 7, when Brady drops back and is looking for Welker or Gronkowski, Anderson is going to have one of the most favorable matchups on the field, and he has the ability to exploit that much moreso than Chris Kelsay or Alex Carrington. If Anderson were brought in at 5 million a year to be a bookend to Chris Kelsay, it would be a a lot of money wasted. As is, I think he can flourish in this role.
  18. With all of that being said, he won't be there at 10.
  19. If memory serves that was the year they traded their first round pick for the legend known as Doug Jolley, and then they used their second round picks on special teams.......Mike Nugent and Justin Miller, a corner who was never more than a kick returner
  20. I agree. Give me a slow, uncoordinated try-hard over a freakishly fast athlete with questionable work habits. This is where someone should predictably point out how well Heyward Bey ran at the combine and how little it has helped him out during his NFL career, completely ignoring the fact that the majority of the NFL's top playmakers are all run fast/jump high/ freakish athletes.
  21. Nobody is giving up a 2nd or 3rd round pick for a 30 year old RB coming off of a season ending injury.
  22. This is the kind of guy who shows up to the stadium on Sunday, but by the time he gets there he forgets he has a game
  23. To the original poster, I have moved twice in the last year, but I know somewhere I have a burned DVD with every play from that game. I ordered it on ebay. It's not the entire broadcast, as the person who made the DVD just cut from play to play, but it might satisfy your need for it if you would like me to try to make you a copy?
  24. I like this move. no-risk. He, like Eric Pears and Scott Chandler from 2010, was a late season addition that played well in spot duty. Why not bring him back to camp and see if he can earn a spot.
