For some reason, I see the Colts trading for Sam Darnold.

Poor naive Putin. Do you really believe that? When we beat Mahomes, everyone will say, "oh, it's because he had a concussion and/or missed practice time because he was in the protocol, and/or his toe hurt, or the sun was in his eyes, etc etc." and even then, if we get to the Super Bowl and don't win, they will say, "see, I told you they didn't belong." The only way to shut everyone up will be to win the Super Bowl, and even then there will be excuses.

Yeah, I heard this and I was just shaking my head. Could you imagine if they set this precedent? Where do you draw the line. Delay every playoff game until all the players are 100% healthy? Just QB's? Just "star" QB's? if someone gets hurt in the Championship game do you delay the Super Bowl? Rubbish.

He's back. WR Jake Kumerow signing to practice squad.

He's chasing that ring first. -
This is hilarious. They are interviewing country music star Jake Owen, who is a Titans fan, but it turns out his best friend and agent (Ando) is a lifelong Bills fan and he wound up telling stories about meeting Jim Kelly at a Payton Manning's retirement party in California. Kelly and his wife flew back to Buffalo with Owen and his buddy in Owen's private plane and he said they talked Buffalo Bills the whole time. Owen said that he is now cheering for the Bills to win the Super Bowl because of it. It was a fun interview to watch. Apparently Kelly gave Ando his money clip, which I am assuming was a Bills themed one. https://www.nfl.com/videos/jake-owen-shares-what-it-s-like-to-play-golf-with-peyton-manning

This is so true. I understand that Mahomes won the Super Bowl and therefore deserves a major benefit of a doubt, but even when he has a bad performance, no one ever questions whether or not he is elite, but with Josh it seems like he constantly has to prove himself. It seems at this point, anything short of winning the Super Bowl will not be good enough for a majority of national analysts. We have won 2 playoff games against difficult opponents and all I keep hearing is yeah, they won, but... Before the Ravens game many of them picked the Ravens and went on and on about how elite Lamar was and how the Ravens were a legitimate threat to win the Super Bowl, but now, even though we beat them by TWO TOUCHDOWNS, they "experts" are saying it was because the Ravens offense is one sided and Lamar needs better receivers. Seriously? Last week they were praising them as Super Bowl contenders. I am glad the Bills seem to be using these doubters as fuel, because there is definitely a lot of fuel out there right now. My biggest fear for the game this week is that we will be playing agains the Chiefs AND the officials. The NFL would much rather have the Chiefs in the Super Bowl over the Bills. Buffalo vs. the world!

Do you like the term “Bills Mafia”?
buffaloboyinATL replied to Lionel Hutz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The funny thing is, I don't mind it as a descriptor of the Bills fan base in general, but I don't use it to describe myself. But generally, I feel like our crazy fans need some sort of title and that one has a pretty good sound to it. -
Yeah, but in fairness, the Colts are, in my opinion, a much better all around team than the Ravens, especially on offense. The Ravens are too reliant on Lamar breaking contain and if you can take that away, they struggle. That being said, we have yet to play a complete game so far in the playoffs and I certainly hope we will see it this weekend.

Yeah, I was just joking, I actually don't have a problem with him picking against us. He is actually one of the national commentators who watches our games and provides a great analysis of what we do right or wrong. It is easy to tell which ones only watch the highlights/lowlights and form opinions off of those few clips. He is definitely not one.

#58 with a little dash of "salt"

Easy. Just have one of them create a “charity” wink wink, and we will all donate to it. Problem solved. -
So the Lamar excuses start????

I don't think he is a terrible QB, but he is definitely not as good as the elite QB's he is often compared to. (including Allen). He is a unique talent, who will be able to exploit undisciplined Defenses for a few season with his speed, until he takes one too many hits and loses that edge. I don't think he will ever be able to transform into an elite pocket passer, which is why he is just good, not elite.
