Yeah, the stories I heard about the coaches meeting with the players during the bye week and discussing what worked in previous year and then actually adding those suggestions into the play book are very encouraging. Some coaches fall in love with their system and force the players to conform even when it doesn't work. (Rex) This seems like a group that it willing to make the necessary adjustments based on personnel, etc. I love it so far.

I hope you are joking. We were protecting a lead most of the game and game him all the short passes up the middle he wanted. I would like to add kudos for Holmes who stepped up big vs his former team. A couple of crucial catches. ( pun not intended)

Heard someone say early in the game that you better bring your lunch pail and come to work when you play a Sean McDermott team because they will be prepared and not give you anything you don't earn. That is a good reputation to have early in your coaching career.
