The Pats and Raiders are both good teams. The Pats are one dimensionally good like Marino's Dolphins while the Raiders are a more balanced club that will beat you up kind of good. What happen today was a classic letdown. A good but young up and coming team didn't bring their best effort. I certainly didn't see the same intensity that I saw the last two games. If they don't play with that then they can expect a few more embarrassing losses like the one they had today. The Stevie bad call should have never even been in play. Because the difference between good teams and bad ones is A LOT closer in today's parity NFL. Philly will blow their doors off if they play like they did today. I don't think the Bengals are a good team and they just had perfect timing playing them when they did. I'm sure that Chan will get a lot of milage out of this loss when telling his team that if they all don't pull their weight week in week out that they'll all go down together. Next week is gut check time when we'll all find out what they're made of. We can say "letdown game" today, but next week there aren't any excuses.

I woke up early this morning and stumbled upon an amazing piece of investigative journalism. It was called "Fox News Reports Green Jobs: Help Wanted". BTW, it's on again today at 3pm if you want to check it out. I suggest DVRing it and find out about the green job scam foisted upon American taxpayers that begun with Bush and was of course put on steroids with Obama. Here's a preview… http://www.foxnews.com/on-air/fox-news-reporting/transcript/fox-news-reporting-green-jobs-help-wanted This green propaganda is now being taught in our schools… http://michellemalkin.com/2011/09/30/solar-energy-school-propaganda-101/ "It’s elementary. The government shouldn’t be in the business of picking any eco-winners or losers. “Too Green To Fail” redistributes wealth from viable private projects to pipe dreams, forces higher taxes and energy costs on everyone, and rewards partisan funders at public expense. Teach your children well. They’re inheriting the bill." And yet Obama has the "audacity" to claim that it's a matter of not having enough revenue!!!??? Wow.

When to re-sign Fitz, Stevie, Freddie?
1billsfan replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Look at what the Niners gave Nate Clements a few years back and he wasn't even that good! They'll be making a HUGE mistake if they wait till the end of the season to get these three guys' contracts done. -
First question out of the box should be when is this franchise going to pay Fitzpatrick, Johnson and Jackson. They need to lock 'em in so we can enjoy the ride without a giant cloud of gloom hanging over the season. These guys deserve to get paid for what they've done to resuscitate this long dead carcass of a franchise. It will have the added benefit of showing the other players that playing great will pay off and that this team wants a winner for longer than one year.

Fitzpatrick had an ok game against them last year also... http://www.pro-football-reference.com/boxscores/201011210cin.htm

What's the Difference between 2008 and 2011?
1billsfan replied to Sniper's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's the same reason why I had hundreds of conversations with fans this past year regarding Fiztpatrick arguing why they thought for sure he'd never be a "franchise" guy. As much as we like to say Bills fans are a really smart bunch, unfortunately there are way too many Bills fans and local media people who are "late" on the curve ball. The 2008 team couldn't hold these guys jock straps. This team is 180 degrees different from that very shaky group of posers. In three games, Fitzpatrick has thrown 4 more TDs than Edwards did in his first six games of 2008!...LOL I'm with you. I understand people being cautious, but let's not insult our team. These guys have the look of teams like the Rams and Saints when they got real good, real quick. -
Amazingly, the ball was thrown 85 times yesterday and there were no sacks. This is the new NFL. We are so lucky to have found the perfect QB for our team who not only knows how to play in today's game, but he excels in this style! I posted a thread almost a year ago where I thought there were signs Fitzpatrick had "franchise" potential based on his recent play up to that point. I'm glad that he has gone above and beyond in the "proving himself" department! What an awesome feeling as a fan to see him come on so strong this year. He deserves a nice big fat QB contract and he'll get it. Jackson and Johnson too!

A Few Thoughts About The Game
1billsfan replied to Bill from NYC's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Much better! I was wondering why you were being so guarded in your commentary, but I guess I was just reading you wrong. It's all good brother! Fitzpatrick IS thrilling and we finally HAVE a QB again!!... -
A Few Thoughts About The Game
1billsfan replied to Bill from NYC's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He's "actually" a thrilling player to watch? I've got to tell you, I don't get your twisted pretzel endorsements of Fitzpatrick. There's always a qualifier. We've finally found our franchise QB I continue to see "nice" and backhanded type commentary on him. Sorry man, I let it go last week but I've grown sufficiently annoyed to the point I felt I needed to point this out. No QB is currently looking better than him in the NFL, period. There's no qualifier necessary. -
I had them at 9-7 before the start of season and even I feel like a jerk now!...LOL We finally have a good team and it feels oh so good baby!!
-
I'm nervous, but it's a good kind of nervous. They may be young, but they have just enough seasoning and seem like a mature bunch to handle the emotions. I can't wait to see what happens!
-
...the Dolphin teams with Marino and no running game or defense. Our team looks much more balanced almost like Kelly's teams. Don't be surprised if they finally take these guys today.

The wheels were in motion long before he took over and still his spending was nothing like the craziness we've seen the last 7 years. Getting back to the original topic, I have a feeling that this candid video will forever end Obama getting elected to a second term. It's out there and there's no putting the genie back in the bottle.
-
First, I'm an independent. Second, the Reagan revolution begun one of the most prosperous periods of our country. The spending back then was no where near the insanity of spending we've seen since the dems took control of both the house and senate during the Bush years. BTW, it was all of their faults.

I hate that Palin quit her job, but she seems to be someone who would fight for the people of this country and not her party. Like Obama, Bachman simply doesn't have any executive experience. But she looks like she would be someone who would stick to her "less government" principles. Paul is a kook, but he would tear down the Washington "money machine". Cain is great, I wish we knew if he had the political muscles to handle the job. BTW, I hope that Christie does get into the race.
-
They really can start the ball rolling. Reagan was one person. All's takes is for a person to come to Washington and clean up the corruption, stop the waterfall of spending and dispense of needless departments. Who are these people? I'm not endorsing them, but I think potential game changers would be Palin, Paul, Cain or Bachman. I don't see any of these people playing the "go along to get along game" that's been played the last century. The ultimate guy would be Christie because he's half game changer, half "acceptable by both the establishment and indepenents" politician. Perry and Romney just seem like "cookie cutter" guys, and I think America needs more than "cookie cutter" right now.

I did say that the GOP could not use this in any shape, form or matter like her "proud" quote. However, if Obama voters seeing this on the internet opens their eyes to the possibility that the Obama's fooled them in '08, then that's a good thing. They hate the very idea this country stands for. Their wet dream is having unfettered power in controlling all American's lives. They see the American flag and it makes them want to puke because it represents the freedom of the individual to pursue their lives without a tyrannous king and queen (them) telling us what to do while they live it up in the most lavish possible way. There's a reason why black people have never truly become free, it's because the dem politicians have played the role of their masters controlling them through government handouts. They don't want them to break free of the government because they would lose all of their power. The GOP isn't innocent either. They're clearly more beholden to corporations then they are to everyday Americans. This country needs a real game changer to clean up Washington once and for all. Unfortunately I'm not sure who that person is just yet.
-
I was with you till I went back and clicked on the lip movement part a few times in a row. She clearly does say "all that for a damn flag?" The president of our country nodded in agreement. This is beyond creepy. It reminds me of the last scene in "The Omen" when Damian turns around and stares into the camera. Unfortunately for us, this is real. Funny how Sean Hannity was being mocked when he presented the evidence of the Obama's hatred of America before the '08 election. Hannity was skewered for doing this. No one's laughing now because all the independent voters realize they should have listened to the anti-America evidence. Not that this "lip reading" exercise can be used by the GOP in any sort of manner the way they used her "first time I'm proud of my country" comment, but people will see it and you don't have to be a lip reader to understand what she said.

Fitzpatrick: "We're trying to make a name for ourselves,
1billsfan replied to Scrappy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
These guys play football like they want to prove to everybody and themselves that they belong. I guarantee you that none of them are motivated and excelling to fatten their wallets. Thats's merely the outcome of their proven themselves as belonging. There's a big difference. They aren't poser types like we've seen come and go the last ten years, these guys are true ballers. -
Let's not forget the Obama's flying two jets to Martha's Vineyard (of all places) only hours apart. TEA = Taxed Enough Already Washington has moved way beyond being disconnected to the people of this country. Truly disgusting. I can't imagine how even more angry this country will be by this time next year.
