  1. If Palin lacked substance why did the liberal media not find one little "lacking substance" nugget from over 25,000 emails from the time she was governor???? Seriously, that is a LOT of emails. This is the very liberal MSM narrative that I was talking about. They repeat something 1001 times and it becomes fact. The reason she was so hated by the left and needed to be destroyed was because they knew she'd be as good as Reagan if ever given the chance. My biggest beef with her is that she took a pass on 2012. She'd be beating the stuffing out of this weak field by now.
  2. Sorry, but you've bought into the MSM narrative. Both Palin and Trump are far better candidates than any of the current crop of GOP candidates. Please tell me, who of this weak bunch would be a better POTUS than either Palin or Trump. Palin and Trump are both strong leaders who genuinely care about America. Not milk toast, put your finger to the wind typical politicians who are beholden to the corrupt 2 party system. This country is ready to elect a third party candidate more than ever. They've had it with taking the back seat and they're done with the 2 party system. Want a third name? How about Paul Ryan to run as the Tea Party candidate for POTUS? I don't like anybody in the group of GOP candidates. This is seriously the worst field ever.
  3. I'm really at a loss regarding your opinion. You really should google Gingrich's past to know what will be coming and why he's unelectable as POTUS. Did you know that Herman Cain lost 50% of his share of the women's vote with in a couple of weeks of the sexual harassment scandals? Do you have any idea of how the MSM works? BTW, your comparing of Donald Trump to Gordon Ramsey makes you sound as competent as a liberal. This country really needs a candidate who will blow up the 2 party corruption machine that's destroying our country. Anyone who sees Gingrich as viable candidate who would do this is just another sheep following the herd.
  4. 100 times better than slimeball Gingrich and whoever.
  5. So true. This blankity-blank was cheating on a wife with one of his congressional aides while impeaching Clinton during the Lewinsky scandal. Just one of many Newt gems. America can do better than that jerk.
  6. Those types of videos don't do well in a country filled with so many people who have the attention span of a fly. BTW, half of the electorate who could be swayed to vote republican are women and when they here about Newt's past dealings in relationships with women, a lot of them won't vote for him. The MSM will do a major number on him to the point where he will become unelectable. Let's be real here.
  7. All Obama has to say is that you were a lobbyist for Fannie and Freddie and they were one of the main reasons this country went into a free fall. It doesn't matter that Franklin Raines and the dems pushing bad loans were the true reason because that simply won't stick. It never does. Gingrich has baggage coming out the ying yang and Obama will have plenty of comebacks for whatever Newt sends his way. Plus, Obama wins on the optics, which sadly is what a lot of people partly base their opinions on. Newt just looks and sounds like a mean guy.
  8. Trump does business with China and he says that they tell him that they're laughing at our leaders in Washington. I think that he'd tone down the "tough guy" rhetoric if he were to make a serious run. I'll tell you this, nobody wants a non-DC person to become POTUS and stop the madness. Not the dems, not the repubs and definitely not the media be it Fox or the liberal MSM.
  9. Washington is completely broken. This country needs a shake up like it's rarely seen before. I could never vote for someone like Newt Gingrich because he's literally been there watching over this DC train wreck for the last 50 years. I'll stay home because maybe this country needs to be brought to the brink with another four years of Obama before they are finally willing to wake up and smell the coffee. You want to see the future of America, take a good long look at Greece. You have states already declaring bankruptcy. The dems keep talking about taxing the millionaires when even if they were able to get their way it wouldn't amount to a pimple in terms of tackling the debt crisis ahead. Trump actually likes to work, unlike guys like Gingrich and Obama. You've got your metaphors reversed my friend. Maybe Paul Ryan will jump in as a third candidate? He may be from DC but at least he's got his head on straight and doesn't mind doing work. Newt Gingrich? Mitt Romney? Seriously, those two are more of a joke than Donald Trump.
  10. I'm done with this group of bozos the republicans are offering. Gingrich???? Please, he has that career politician stench and he's been working for Fannie and Freddie over the last ten years. Sorry, I don't think so. If he's out front then the republicans are in very bad shape. I don't like any of these people at all. I really hope that Donald Trump is serious and runs for POTUS... http://politics.blogs.foxnews.com/2011/11/21/new-book-trumps-finances-revealed-doesnt-rule-out-2012-run/ He knows how to make good decisions, he's been fully vetted and he's not beholden to anyone in Washington. I seriously think that Trump could win the presidency as a third party candidate. Either that or Palin somehow gets drafted in as the candidate during the republican convention. This current group are all a bunch of softie politicians. Other than Bachman (who I don't really like for POTUS), I don't see any of them as having a spine.
  11. I won't call it stupid, just misguided anger. This whole team has looked lost. Not just Brad Smith. I'm shocked at the bashing of Smith when it's clearly not him who's the problem. I've been saying it since the last Jet game, that this is a coaching issue. I watched Gailey's press conference last week and he said that they weren't going to change a thing because the problems of this team were all a matter of execution. How would you feel as a player if he said that? I'd feel that the coach was letting them all out to dry. The defenses knew where the receivers and Jackson were going to be. That's why they were getting blown to pieces. These guys are NFL players, they want to fight, but to the death? Um, no. They aren't going to be that dedicated. Smith needs to be starting at the #2 receiver this week and be the guy to go deep. He absolutely burned a Dolphin last week on a go pattern (Fitzpatrick didn't look his way) and he can do the same this week against his old team mates. Let's see what he can do at the #2 spot. He also needs to be used as an option QB with Spiller on a few possessions. Brad Smith is not the problem, Gailey and Edwards are the problem. However, it sounds like Gailey has had a change of heart and will implement a different gameplan this week after watching his team get killed in Miami. Better late than never "Mr. Megamind".
  12. Here's what I think they should do... Bench Nelson and put Brad Smith in at the #2 receiver spot. During the Dolphin game Smith had beat his man on a deep pattern. I must say it looked sweet. Make him the deep pattern guy in this game. Since we're going to see CJ Spiller play a full game, why not see what we have in regards to Smith being a legit full time starting receiver. It makes so much sense since Nelson has literally hit a wall and looks useless out there right now. Smith knows all of the Jets' strengths and weaknesses so there should be no intimidation factor. This game rides on Smith and Spiller this week. We need to scrap the slot formation and insert Cory McKIntyre in at fullback as an extra blocker for Spiller. Tell everyone to block the man in front of them and tell Spiller to stop thinking and just run for daylight. For a few series and especially near the goal line, I'd also use Smith as the "Tebow" package and run the option with him and Spiller. During the game I'd even let him throw the ball to Chandler. a one read pass play, if Chandler's open throw it, if not, run for as many yards as you can. Fitzpatrick's only job is to hit Smith, Chandler or Spiller during passing plays, hand the ball off and take off and run when given the opportunity. I fully expect to see a drastic change such as this. I'd be so excited to see something like this against the Jets.
  13. I only saw him in one game and in that one he looked really good, so I'll take your word on him. Has he been hurt or is it that he's just not good enough to see the field? As for the Miller/Quinn debate, the same could be said about the people who thought Newton was crap while I thought he'd was going to be really good and I wanted the Bills to take him even though I was a huge supporter of Fiztpatrick. Every fan here is hit or miss on draft prospects. I was wary of Dareus ever being a game changing player and so far it seems of the first four players picked, he was the guy who wasn't that type. Lucky us.
  14. Every week I keep waiting for the Buffalo media to ask this question to Chan Gailey in the weekly press conference, and every week I'm disappointed.
  15. I was very wrong about Von Miller. I was right about Cam Newton and wanted the Bills to take him if he were there. As for Dareus, I wanted Robert Quinn instead. He has shown promise in his rookie year. Dareus has shown me little this year to get excited about. Looking back now, as crazy as it sounds, I think the Bills probably should have took Green at that spot. It seems that no matter where the Bills pick is, they just miss out on the player best suited for them. In this case it was both Newton and Miller.
  16. Dareus has hardly looked like a stud. He's ok, but he's not overpowering at all and I was seeing some lack of effort yesterday.
  17. I noticed not one mention of coaching on your thoughts list. Wouldn't Johnson starting at OLB have been a coaching decision? Why is Moats not getting any time? Why does the entire 53 man roster look so completely lost? Why are they putting players in positions that are against their strengths? I know we need players in here, but the coaching is abysmal to the point where I don't want Gailey as our HC in 2012. Let's get Perry in here or Rob Ryan. Today's players no longer relate to old school coaches.
  18. I think that this team has lost all confidence in their coaching staff. NFL players don't get rung up like that unless they are completely unsure of what they're doing. It's starts and ends with Chan Gailey keeping Edwards on as DC. Another problem, Gailey refuses to change his game planning and play calling. They run two plays, Jackson up the gut, and the 5-10 yard slant to one of the wide outs. Ever hear of the expression "shooting fish in a barrel"? The DBs are salivating just waiting for them to come across the field. Injuries to key players are a problem, but it's not of the getting blown out and blown up variety of a problem. The Bills should have hired Perry Fewell as HC.
  19. My thoughts are that... 1. Marcell Dareus sucks. People say that Spiller doesn't want to play, well Darues looks the same exact way. Newton = star, Miller = star, Dareus = another lazy a** bust. 2. We need a pass rusher very very badly. It's the number one need for this team. 3. Would it have killed Fitz and Levitre to practice snaps on the sideline???? Those snaps were ridiculous. 4. Looks to me like the players have lost complete faith in the coaches. When you're not sure of what you're doing, that's when you get rocked, jacked and rung up like the Bills got all day long by a bad Dolphin team.
  20. The very fact that the Bills are running a two play offense should tell you that the Dallas game was about coaching and not a "they were flat" issue. If they don't give Spiller at least 10 touches today I'm going to blow a gasket.
  21. Worst excuse ever. Sorry, but it's the coaching. Every team in the league are playing backups at this point in the season. We all saw how mediocre of a team the Jets were on Thursday. Dallas is a mediocre team also. The problem is that we have another dinosaur of a head coach who's much too slow to change and adjust. Also, George Edwards? Are you serious? George Edwards wouldn't last two games if he were the DC of the Jets or Cowboys. George Edwards should be selling cars, not coaching our players who have looked more lost than I've ever seen from a Buffalo Bills team. Our backup players are NFL players too. They're not as bad as they look. Our coaching has let this team down big time these last couple of blowout games. Chan Gailey looks like just another failed head coach in a long line of retread head coaches who are better coordinators than head coaches. We all know their names so I won't even bother listing them. I get the feeling Chan goes to sleep at 8, while the other coaches stay up till 12. This team should have hired Perry Fewell. The NFL is a young coaches game and that trend will only be continuing.
  22. One is not to the exclusivity of the other. The Bills need to start giving the ball to both Jackson and Spiller. Obviously Jackson will get the bulk of carries, but Spiller needs to start seeing the ball a lot more than he has. A few weeks ago people were laughing at the thought of Tebow being successful at this level. These guys played in the SEC, it's the minor leagues of the NFL. I'd tell Spiller to forget about running to the hole, just run to daylight and don't stop till you score a TD. Spiller looks like a player that's been over coached to death.
  23. If Gailey really wants to be creative he'd use a tandem backfield with Spiller and Jackson, Nelson at TE with Johnson and Smith as the wideouts. Much of the time, have Smith come in motion and behind the backfield after the snap and you suddenly have three very good runners the defense must account for. The LBs would have no idea who to key on. You can then play action off this to Johnson, Nelson or Spiller coming out of the backfield. Right now, the Bills offense has come down to two plays...Jackson up the middle or a quick slant pass. I'm angry at Gailey for these last two weeks. It's not about injuries, it's about the lack of game planning.
  24. George Edwards is the William Hung of defensive coordinators. But the real blame for the defense goes to Chan Gailey who has left him charge of the defense for a full year and a half. If this were NY, Dallas, Pitt, Baltimore or any other professionally run NFL team, Edwards would have been fired a looooooong time ago. This is Buffalo however, where we love our retread coaching dinosaurs who are slower than slow to make any adjustments or decisions. But like Dick Jauron did with the offense, Chan Gailey just doesn't even care about the defense. He gets no questions from the local press because they're all clueless. Why no questions about Wannstedt and what his role with this team is? Why is no one asking why he hasn't replaced Edwards????? So when I bring this stuff up, peoples heads explode and they announce they're going to ignore me....LOL The Jet and Cowboys blowout games were about bad coaching.
  25. You're giving the Jets way too much credit. They have no QB, no runningback and their defense is gimmicky and prone to the big play. If the Bills were smart they would have exploited those areas of weakness. But since they have no defensive coordinator and their head coach has lost interest in game planning you see what can happen to a team. Granted the Jets' defense is way better than ours, but our offense is much better than theirs. Gailey is the main reason why the Bills have got their doors blown in. Our players have looked more lost than the worst preseason game you can ever imagine. That's bad coaching.
