Herman Cain surges in latest Zogby poll
1billsfan replied to /dev/null's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Wow, Cain needs to show better judgement than to go on an MSNBC show. He says that there are people who are too far gone to even have the capacity listen and that's the MSNBC audience in a nutshell. Just waiting for the predictable "Uncle Tom" moniker in 3, 2, 1... Hopefully he's learned his lesson. -
...the Eagles giving the points. They said the Bills have come down to earth, they aren't really that good, that the Eagles are a much better team and that this game won't even be close. This was on their weekly pick three games against the spread Friday show. So out of all the games they both felt that this was one of their top three picks of the week. Make no mistake, the point spread and so many people picking the Eagles and deriding the Bills should make our team come out and play like monsters this Sunday.

Herman Cain surges in latest Zogby poll

It will be so funny when the white MSM pundits start calling him a racist...LOL -
I know. As of right now I'm leaning towards Herman Cain with Romney as the backup plan. While not perfect picks, either one of these guys are lightyears ahead of who we have now. True dat. The panel section is the only real "serious" debating on Fox. I think most Americans fall in the middle anyways. They know that the far left and the far right are beholden to something other than their interests.

Sorry, but it's insane to equate Fox News with MSNBC. While Fox obviously does have a conservative slant, they repeatedly have liberals pundits debating conservatives pundits when discussing their stories. That makes them at least making an honest attempt to be fair in their coverage. MSNBC has literally become government propaganda TV. They went off the reservation once Obama came onto the scene. While MSNBC is busy being a punchline, Fox News is the main source where America goes for a quick cable news fix. Let's not forget that the two resident conservative "crazies" on Fox News, Beck and Hannity, were very much ON THE MARK about Obama. There's no disputing this anymore and it's a shame that America didn't listen to Hannity's dire warnings about who the man truly was instead of buying all the BS the MSM was feeding them. Let us all hope that Americans won't be so foolish again.

ESPN, Hank Williams Jr. part ways
1billsfan replied to papazoid's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
C'mon man. "Dissing" is much different then inflammatory hateful rhetoric. There really is no comparison. Just today, Nancy Pelosi said "God Bless them" in regards the wall street protesters, but back when she was speaker of the house and the tea party was starting a real grass roots political movement she accused them of wearing swastikas. Again, there was no outcry for the hateful rhetoric by someone who was third in line to the oval office, no consequences. Please let's keep it real. Freedom of Speech isn't truly "free" if it's a one way street, is it. Yet censorship for one side is what we currently have today. -

Oh please, are you kidding me? Free speech only comes with consequences when a conservative says something stupid. Note that none of these people ever faced "consequences" for their words and speech... http://toryaardvark.com/2011/01/10/david-letterman-calls-sarah-palin-a-slut/ http://senatorteaparty.com/sarah-palin-called-vulgar-word-by-bill-maher-on-hbo/ http://www.dallasvoice.com/maher-your-beautiful-theater-gonna-long-1070487.html http://ohnotheydidnt.livejournal.com/44862945.html http://www.nytimes.com/2011/08/02/opinion/the-tea-partys-war-on-america.html?_r=1 http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0811/62396.html http://nation.foxnews.com/nbc-news/2011/07/29/nbc-news-takes-tea-party-terrorists-theyre-strapped-dynamite-sitting-middle-time-square-rush-hour I'm tired of the liberal wussification of this country. Where it's only ok to publicly hurt one's feelings as long as the target is on the right. I applaud Hank Williams Jr. for telling ESPN to go shove it. -
He almost has to bow out. There's one thing that Americans can't stand and that's losing. He was given four years and unless a miracle happens things will be just as bad if not worse in 2012. Once he realizes there's no way he can win re-election he'll probably do the ego driven thing and not even give America the chance to reject his presidency.

Republicans Want Muppets to Starve
1billsfan replied to Rob's House's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Someone should tell the poor starving muppet to go and ask Obama how after spending FOUR TRILLION DOLLARS it's possible that there are still starving muppets in America and why he couldn't find a couple dollars to feed her empty muppet belly. Then ask him why he threw away a HALF BILLION DOLLARS for the purposes of propping up a known failing "green job" company. A half billion would feed millions of muppets, right? Heck, this week alone Obama's wife just spent half a million on flight expenses. It's almost as if Obama and his wife are laughing at that poor little starving muppet girl while they do them. -
Wow, very sad. One of the greatest american success stories ever. RIP

we need a real running package
1billsfan replied to EldaBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Eagles are said to be one of the worst tackling teams in the league. I suggest that they use Johnson/WR, Smith/WR, Spiller Slot/WR, Jackson RB, Chandler TE as the main package this week. It blows the mind thinking about the possibilities, with the Eagles not knowing who will get the ball out of Smith, Spiller and Jackson on handoffs/reverses/quick hit passes. The you add in the traditional rolls that Johnson and Chandler would play and the poor tackling Eagles should be screwed. This game is in the hands of Jackson, Spiller and Smith and their ability to break tackles (along with decent run blocking of course). The Bills must get creative this week while maintaining a commitment to the running game. Get the ball into the three guys hands who know how to break and/or avoid tackles. -
This will blow your mind... http://www.weeklystandard.com/blogs/cbs-news-reporter-says-white-house-screamed-swore-her-over-fast-and-furious_595011.html "[The White House and Justice Department] will tell you that I'm the only reporter--as they told me--that is not reasonable. They say the Washington Post is reasonable, the LA Times is reasonable, the New York Times is reasonable, I'm the only one who thinks this is a story, and they think I'm unfair and biased by pursuing it." I've got to gives props to this MSM reporter (clearly there are some holdouts to maintaining credible journalistic standards) breaking the oath of serving and protecting the supreme leader Obama at any and all costs.

It's shocking how little the MSM has covered this story. I always think about how they would cover these stories if Palin were president. What if her AG had lied at a hearing about when he knew we were letting guns "walk" into the hands of mexican drug cartels? That one of these guns had killed an American agent. They would be going absolutely nuts right about now. What if she had given half a billion dollars to a company who's viability was shaky at best but had been a major contributor to her campaign? Then the company predictably goes bankrupt after lying a month earlier that they were stable. The MSM would roast her over hot coals and tell everyone how many poor people could have been fed with half a billion dollars. What if she had ok'd three quarters of a billion dollars to Boehner's sister-in-law's company? If I were a GOP candidate I would declare the MSM as the opposition and promotional arm of Obama and the democratic party. They're a willing partner to the coverup of one of the most corrupt administrations in history.

wow...the media is sliding off the bandwagon
1billsfan replied to tennesseeboy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This team beat the Pats so we know that they have the talent to make a run. The Bengal game taught us that they were a little too immature mentally to handle the success. I truly believe this next game's going to be the signature game that tells us which way they're heading for the rest of the season. To me, there's a HUGE difference in being 3-2 with a two game streak heading into an away game against the Giants and a 4-1 team that had an "oops" game against the Bengals. -

I know Fitzpatrick said this next game isn't a make or break one for the season, but I totally disagree. After this next game, we will know all that we need to know about the make up of this Bills team. With a 1-3 Eagles "Dream Team" team coming into RWS they will face a team that is about as both talented and desperate for a win as they come. They are going to be in a dog fight (no pun intended). So either the Bills punch them in the mouth and knock them out for the count with a commitment to the running game (Philly's weak area) or the Eagles show everyone that the 3-1 record was a fraud. They also need to sprinkle in some creative wrinkles in their game plan. So I can't wait to see if we really do have a tough team ready for a playoff push and possibly even a division title, or an average ho-hum middle-of-the-pack win one lose one bunch. They need to stop downplaying this game and embrace the challenge of knocking out the desperate Eagles. -
The occupy Wall Street movement spreads
1billsfan replied to John Adams's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
You never have the balls to argue a topic on merit. You always lead with the "I'm insecure as hell so I'll put you down" foot. It's sad and boring. Sorry chief. -

Does it really matter what the source is bro? These people will tell you to your face that they hate capitalism and want a communist revolution in America with Obama as their supreme leader for decade after decade. You act like there's a smear campaign going on here...LOL -

The Tea Party is a real grass roots movement. This group come from the 100s of socialist/communist organizations which are funded by rich lefty loonies like Soros... http://www.infowars.com/occupy-wall-street-protesters-call-totalitarian-government-re-election-of-obama/ They look like brainwashed cult members who wouldn't know what a hard day's work was if it pepper-sprayed them in the face. -
Edwards was the DC last year so thats 20 games. Sorry, but Wanny is on the staff and Edwards has shown no signs of being anything but unsuccessful. They need to rip the bandaid off already and shake things up. As with Jauron at HC, I can see when someone's in over their head.
-
What's the point? Seriously. This is the same kind of reasoning why Dick Jauron was kept here for over three years. Edwards was given brand new toys and somehow they're twice as bad as they were last year. Gailey brought in Wanny and there's no logical reason for him not to demote (or fire if he refuses) Edwards and promote Wanny. Edwards will not suddenly "get it" this week or any week thereafter.
-
Because he's won a couple of Superbowls as a defensive coordinator. That's a pretty big reason why given that Edwards is such an unknown. The first month of the year a "contending" team is supposed to recognize their problems and fix them for the playoff push. The Bills clearly have a major problem on defense and you can't change your roster any more. I understand being loyal, but why did they bring on Wanny if not for this very situation they are facing? They're the ones who hired him and made him a subordinate under a virtual "nobody's ever heard of" DC. This is a very interesting situation. Can't blame the fans for asking the obvious questions.

Philly is on a 3 game losing streak
1billsfan replied to Scrappy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Which is why Wanny needs to be promoted to DC over the failed Edwards experiment. They made a rookie 2nd round QB look like Peyton Manning today. They made Jason Cambell look like Tom Brady a couple of weeks ago. Everyone here knows it needs to happen. It should have happened before the season even started. Dude was the DC coordinator for Superbowl winners, let's not pretend that there isn't a great big white elephant in the room.. -
We can handle the Patriots, but we apparently can't handle prosperity.
