  1. I've been listening to Denver sports radio the past hour and it's funny how all they're talking about is Tim Tebow. A day after they landed Peyton Manning! http://www.1043thefan.com
  2. Why do I get a weird feeling that either Tebow or Tannehill will be a Buffalo Bill when all is said and done? This team always seems to finds itself a way to have a good ol' fashioned QB controversy. I sense that one is on the horizon.
  3. You can't tie up that kind of money on one position. Especially a position in which it's somewhat easy to find #2 receiver replacements in the draft. The Bills should bring back Owens for this year to give us time to groom Easley and/or whoever the draft at WR in the 2nd or 3rd round. If they do pickup TO, it won't be till after the draft though. In case either Blackmon somehow fell to them or they traded up a couple spots to land him. TO is such an obvious and logical one year stop gap answer for this team.
  4. They won't reach for Martin, and Reiff is simply not the impact player you're looking for that high. I think almost the only way they draft an OT in the first is in a trade down scenario. Reiff is a longshot at #10, but he's considered more of an RT due to his short arms. Reiff is much like Bulaga, who was also not a guy worthy of a #10 overall pick. At #10, you can't roll the dice like that trying to fill that LT hole. As for Martin, if Martin was as good as some people here think (they seem to think he's a franchise LT), then he'd be long gone before our pick. Other than Richardson, Buddy will draft BPA.
  5. Out of the five you mentioned, DeCastro and Ingram are the only lock solid picks. Coples, Martin and Floyd are potential bust type players for various reasons. IMO I think the Bills draft Ingram and if he's not there then they will try hard to trade down. If they can't trade down then they'll be looking at guys like Kirkpatrick, Hightower, Upshaw, Kuechly, or Reiff at #10. Five solid, less "bust" potential prospects. If they do trade down then I think they'll be looking at Upshaw, Hightower, Perry, Mercilus, Glenn, Martin. I think Kuechly is going to the Eagles or Jets if we don't take him.
  6. That would not be the trade with Cincy. The trade with Cincy would involve the Bills swapping the #10 pick with one of the Bengals 1st round picks. The Bills would get the Bengals 2nd round pick and the Bengals would get one of our 4th rounders (to even out the trade value aspect). This would be the DREAM scenario and it's very doable for the Bills. This draft's talent tails off significantly after the 2nd round. The Bills should have three high quality players out of these four positions LB, OL, WR or CB. As for the Pats, other than TEs, they have pretty much sucked at drafting the players to replace their Superbowl heros of the past. The Bills would be handing Belichick the almost slam dunk opportunity to pick his next Richard Seymour in Poe, Brockers, Cox, whichever one is there at that spot. So that is absolutely not going to happen. Let the Pats continue to flounder in their attempt to look for defensive stars out at the bottom of the 1st round.
  7. I can't wait to see how "smart" the Pats organization is going to look when Tom Brady leaves the building for good.
  8. He was well behaved in Buffalo, so I'd hope that TO would be considered as a one year stop gap option while the WR they draft could have some time to learn the NFL game.
  9. Forget Evans, I think the Bills should bring back Owens. He and Fitzpatrick had a very good connection when he was here and as long as he'd be the same guy he was when he was here, I'd welcome him back with open arms. Even if they do draft a WR at #10 I'd still bring back TO.
  10. I think Stephen Hill is one of those players that, while most draft websites don't have rated very high, most NFL teams do have him rated very high. A side note, I watched video of his workout and Nix was in every frame in the background. As much as I'd like the Bills to draft Luke Kuechly (probable BPA) right now, I would be very happy with them picking Stephen Hill at #10. He looks like he has Moss and Johnson kind of talent. He seems like a solid kid who will work hard to reach his potential. I'm sure with so many connections there at Tech, the Bills have a good read on this player. Sub 4.4 speed, 39 inch vertical jump, 6'4" height...wow! http://beargoggleson.com/2012/03/08/wr-prospect-stephen-hill-draws-interest-from-bears/
  11. For all those who are wanting Jonathan Martin at #10. If they are truly going BPA (which you know Nix will), take a look at who's consistently ranked considerably higher than him... GBNReport: 9. Luke Kuechly 17. Jonathan Martin NationalFootballPost: 7. Luke Kuechly 62. Jonathan Martin DraftCountdown: 10. Luke Kuechly 27. Jonathan Martin DraftTek: 8. Luke Kuechly 25. Jonathan Martin I think the Bills end up drafting Claiborne, Kuechly or DeCastro. All three have pro bowl level talent and one (or even two) will no doubt be there at our pick.
  12. He's right, the AFC conference is weak and the Bills already do look like serious contenders. Buddy Nix is gettin' er done baby!
  13. Two thoughts... Jason Pierre Paul will be worth a fortune when he becomes a free agent. Some team will take the chance and pick Quinton Coples in the top ten.
  14. There's no conspiracy. ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN are all controlled by the Obama administration (i.e. the federal government). It's they way the Marxists like it. Even Fox News has softened it's approach on criticism of Obama, his corrupt administration, and of his driving the country over the cliff. Fox News should be hammering Obama and demanding answers. Other than Hannity, they're simply not doing it. They're being way too polite.
  15. I've actually lost respect for him during this never ending tour. Miami and Arizona are two teams who are clearly out of the running, yet just yesterday he released a statement that he hasn't ruled anyone out. He's obviously lying. He's using those two teams to drive up his price, and in doing so, is severely hampering their ability in the most important part of free agency. I know one of the teams is Miami, but to me it's still a crappy "non-classy" thing to do.
  16. Why? He's two inches taller and only three pounds lighter than Ray Lewis... http://www.nfl.com/combine/profiles/luke-kuechly?id=2533056 At 6'3" you'd think he'd easily be able to add at least 10 pounds to his playing weight. He seems like a very intense guy, I like that in a ILB. I just don't see the "Poz" factor. He seems to play like a big guy, just like Ray Lewis.
  17. Exactly. I think this board will eventually come around on picking this guy at #10. This guy is a very good and nasty ILB. We're talking about Lewis, Willis, Urlacher level of good and nasty. If they pass on him for someone like Martin who's clearly not as talented at his position as Kuechly is at his, then it would be a huge mistake.
  18. LOL, yeah I guess I am. As much as people say they want BPA, this guy actually looks like a BPA who's slotted to go to Philly in most mock drafts. If he does go at #15, I have a feeling the Eagles will look like they got the steal of the draft by mid season. If we get Mario Williams, I'll be pushing for the Bills to pick Kuechly. The Stach needs his Kenny Norton!
  19. I think the Bills must take BPA with the #10 pick. Kuechly is viewed as the 7th best player in the draft here... http://www.nationalfootballpost.com/scouting_department.html Claiborne, DeCastro or Kuechly. These are three "pro bowl" type players where as a guy like Martin isn't viewed in the same manner. If he were, he'd certainly be considered a top five pick. FWIW, Jonathan Martin is ranked as the 62nd player on this site.
  20. Pro football reference has him at 6'6'. But damn even so, she must be a tall one. BTW, I've been reading a lot of online "we didn't want Mario anyways" bashing by Texan fans...LOL
  21. I think it's a stupid attempt at Buffalo Bills "putdown" humor. A lot of the NFL fans and media in other markets are making comments that have a "Buffalo? Are you kidding me?...LOL" ring to it.
  22. http://www.wgrz.com/video/1507856514001/1/Mario-Williams-Brings-Fiance-to-Buffalo The Stach looks positively giddy...lol
  23. His first gig was supposed to be Tampa but they signed Vincent Jackson. Other than height, this is the perfect fit. If Easley's better than him, then we have Manningham play the slot! Wow, this is exciting stuff!
  24. 4 page thread on Marvin McNutt and Mr. Kuechly gets nothing?...LOL Didn't want to, but I had to bump. This defense would be downright nasty if Williams comes here and we drafted Kuechly. In Dareus, the Bills made up for not drafting Ngata, In Kuechly, the Bills would make up for being robbed of Patrick Willis by San Fran one pick ahead of us.
  25. Mario Manningham was expected to go to Tampa Bay. However, with the Bucs signing of VJ it would seem Manningham is out of their plans leaving him as a natural fit for the Bills' #2 spot. Solid, clutch receiver who just helped his team win the Superbowl. If Easley turns out better than Manningham as a #2, then Bills would have one of the best slot receiver's in the league and the best receiver group here since the glory days of Reed, Lofton and Beebe.
