  1. The fact that Samuel might be a big loss says a lot about the WRs in the first place. this is a very meh group with a great qb. There is no one who scares defenses unless Keon makes some dramatic leap. Still it is plenty to win a bunch of games but like KC last year, the margin of error becomes so slim.
  2. Reid won nothing before Mahomes; was laughed at for his time management; and got fired in Philly. He identified Mahomes, traded up in the draft for him when they had a serviceable qb who took them to the playoffs. Reid is a very good offensive coach. Mahkmes has had the best start to his career of any qb in history and now Reid is looked as an all time great coach. So yes, you have to be a hater to not understand how good Mahomes. With that receiving core last year, that is one of the worst teams in the nfl.
  3. Agree 100%. I would have kept Diggs another year but I can understand it with the distraction he was becoming. But it is insane they didn’t take multiple WRs in this draft and are majnly relying on castoffs from other teams. we see if all the time that you draft a guy in the same position in the draft and the later drafted guy turns out to be the better player: McCargo, Kyle Williams; Hayden Hurst, Mark Andrews; RG3, Kirk Cousins. They left themselves no room for error plus rookies are cheaper.
  4. Eh, he made that bottom 5 group of WRs win the SB. Taking out Josh, there’s not another qb in the nfl that wins the SB with that crappy group. of course, their margin of error was super slim because of this crappy wrs.
  5. I think they really like their receiving core and have very high hopes this year. Watson also really struggles fo stay healthy.
  6. Pickens could be one of the best receivers in the nfl. He also is a giant head case without the resume and contract.
  7. I like Groot. Solid all around DE. Seems like he lacks burst to ever be a fearful pass rusher but I would love to see it, PS. I bet on his over for sacks last year at 7.5. I think he has like 3 after the first couple of games and still didn’t get it. 😞
  8. How the hell would I know if he did? I wasn’t in the room. I did know that the best case scenario was he had sex with a 17 year old. And I 100% didn’t want the distract of a punter with rape charge hanging on his head. As would anyone with a brain and the rest of the nfl would think. now that everything that has come out, he’s getting his chance. Good for him, hope he makes the most of it. But the Bills made the right move (again no one else signed him either) and I didn’t think about the punter once that season and I still don’t.
  9. Agree 100%. Beane has done great things and the Allen pick alone gives him a ton of job security. But why he goes so heavy on RBs (the Hines trade as well) blows my mind. He also has struggled big time with pass rushers. Wild that we haven’t developed a game changing DE with all the resources we have invested in it.
  10. I guess you have to be irrationally confident to be a pro athlete but he is out of his mind if he thinks someone wants him to start. He is a garbage starter but would be a top end backup and could milk a bunch of money that route. Kyle Allen sucks worse than Mitch and Barkley sucks more than both of them (nice guys). maybe stop with garbage retread backups. He was never good. He had one season of good player in college that got him completely over drafted over pre molestor Watson (it’s even dumber looking back at his college career and how great he was) and Mahomes (who threw 50 tds in a season). One of the dumbest moves in history. the bears had a great defense and hide Mitch with quick throws and RPOs. He’s why college qbs are hard to evaluate because they can have good numbers but never really make big boy throws. mitch, good guy, bad nfl qb
  11. Or we have a beast qb who scores all the touchdowns down there
  12. Hes getting the Aaron Schobel treatment - good player who gets irrationally hate because he’s not the best player at his position in the nfl. And when it turns out that Davis isn’t good enough to go against nfl defenses full time (Tony Pollard in Dallas last year), we will hate that we traded a good rb for a guy who is struggling to play in Washington.
  13. That group is the definition of meh. I’d take Sutton but he far from some game changing receiver. I don’t really agree with that. We traded a 1st for Diggs. We drafted Kincaid in the 1st. He has spent 3 or 2nd/3rds on RBs. Paid big money to Dawkins and Morse, tried trading for crazy AB. Drafted Coleman in the 2nd.
  14. I do enjoy a nice random jersey at a game though - Losman, Manuel (the Bills still screwed him!), Evans, etc. recently spotted a Todd Collins and London Fletcher while in Buffalo! but the Moorman era of the bills (not his fault) was the darkest chapter of my bills fandom. I will never cry about a piece punter again. its Worthy who might be the bigger problem that we let them have. So on a top 3 SB contender with one of the best offenses in the nfl, you would have kept a rookie punter investigated for raping an underage girl around?
  15. I literally have avoided most of the preseason for that exact reason. Great to have football back but it is so meaningless.
  16. Omg! I thought the days of people caring about a punter disappeared with Moorman. Those were some of the worst days as a Bills fan. Imagine crying about a punier when you have Josh Allen. also news flash, no team is going to keep a punter who is getting investigated for raping an underage girl. Now if Josh was in the same situation (he is a saint and would never be), guess who still has a roster spot??? Welcome to the world of double standards. Crying about punters is what teams with crappy qbs do. Not ones with Josh Allen. Turn the page.
  17. Saying he got fired when he was interim coach replacing a fired coach is absolutely insane. And when you consider the Falcons hired him 4 years after they “fired” him as interim makes that take certifiable.
  18. I can’t believe how garbage Russ is now. If he wasn’t such a weird, I’d almost feel bad for him.
  19. And im hopeful too. It’s just weird how much hate Cook gets for being such a productive player. If anything, he needs more work. Davis hopefully will be a great change of pace
  20. Nothing will ever top this. Absolutely hilarious.
  21. I have hopes for the dude but don’t we see this every preseason? Some random rb (a bit different since he was a draft pick) doing well against 3rd teamers? But still positive signs. Never seen a guy 6th in yards from scrimmage in the entire nfl get as much crap as Cook does. It’s insane
  22. One of the few positives of that awful game minus that watermelon margarita. Delicious. Give him reps with the 1st team and see what he can do.
  23. Wait you are honestly comparing the Bears, who had the number 1 defense with Mitch, to the expansion Panthers reich played with? Holy crap, that is absolutely insane. Mitch is the exact reason why qb records are absolutely worthless. he seems like a good dude. He has is living off one good year in college. He looks worse the more he plays. Veteran scrub qb destroy backup defenses in the preseason. We may have the worst backup qb in the nfl.
  24. I like Burton and hate that he is on Cincy. I do wonder if his character concerns scared the Bills off. I really wish they came out with multiple WRs from the draft.
  25. Facts. Mahomes is only good against 3rd stringers. Gym class hero who fall apart when the games really count. The nfl is far from the only business that protects criminals. America is filled with criminals in high places.
