Good but not good enough. He has gone from underrated to overrated so many times. He is like the emo Cousins. You are better with him than Zach Wilson but it is really hard to imagine him ever taking a team deep in the playoffs. I would say if I was the a team like the Jets, it would make sense to get him for a year or 2 and develop a young qb behind him.

Eh. Everyone overreacts to everything. With how the Bills were playing at the end of the season, they won’t have beat either of those teams. However, earlier in the year, they beat the Chiefs and were SB favorites. I will say that too many people just assumed Dorsey could do a job he has never done before.

I’m confused by this. So according to lots of people here, our oline sucks. So when Allen scores, should we give the oline credit? also, why does this board work so hard to discredit other qbs? Hurts, who I’m sure was trashed when he was drafted here, has become a really good qb. Why not give him some credit?

Couple of things: 1 - the nfl coaching hiring is A joke. It’s just hire your buddy or have your daddy/ family member get you in. There are guys who are grinding away in college who deserve their first shot rather than Nate Hackett, who has been more often than not, completely terrible. But his daddy was a coach. Same with Pat Schmur, one of the worst coaches ever, who has gotten two head coaching job. There is a major problem. Andy Reid’s kids were literally crack heads and one got a nfl job. 2 - Matt Nagy 3 - Mike Vrabel had an assault and theft on his record. 4 - do I think the nfl is racist? Not totally but coaching is such a subjective thing to measure unless you get the opportunity. Several black coaches this year led top 5 units. How many got jobs? How many franchises have never a black permanent head coach? bottom line is winning. Problem is the same losers get the jobs because of who they are friends with. It’s a problem and good people, of all races, are getting passed by crappy Todd Haley (college golfer whose dad helped run the Steelers). Rex Ryan is another example of the daddy boys network. Dude absolutely sucked here, was out of the league of 5 years, and gets another shot? Why? Why doesn’t a new guy get a chance to fail?

Meh. If I was a cardinals fan, I’d want the guy who just worked with Mahomes. But what do I know?

So do we like ESPN now? A decent % of those sacks were on Big Ben too. He’s a playmaker so he holds the ball a long time. Brady never gets sacks because he gets right of the ball so quickly and will just take the 5 yard dump off. This is one of the “knocks” against Burrow. Dude wants to make the big play. Juju, MVS are bottom 5 top 2 receivers of any team in the league. Why is so hard to give mahomes credit for some Bills fans? Reid had Alex Smith go a season without throwing a td pass to a receiver now has a 2 time mvp qb. Maybe mahomes is really, really, really, really good. nah, the dangerous skill sets of Juju and his 4.8 40 time; MVS and his monster 500 yard season with Aaron Rodgers; McKinnon who literally has done nothing for 3 years; and a 7th round rb are the real MVPs! I wish I could bet on him getting tagged and staying in Baltimore. Then they can see him in a new offense (I bet they go hard after receivers) & judge him this season. I know a lot of people don’t love him but it’s hard to let a MVP type qb go. Can’t tell if you are being serious or not! The Ravens offense besides Jackson and Andrews is hot garbage. Gabe Davis would be their number one receiver and their rbs get hurt every game.

To be honest, I hated the McDermott hire because of your reasons. It felt uninspired and not going with the trends in the nfl. Then he hired an awful OC his first year and hated it even more. Then he got Daboll. And then I saw the way he held seem really tough situations and realized he is the best Coach for this franchise and we are lucky to have him. I will say a lot of us glossed over how tough it would be for an OC who has never called plays on any level to do it for a SB contending team. Looking back, and not putting it all on Dorsey because there were good moments, it’s actually a pretty terrible one. That said, hopefully he improves this year. My thing with coaching is you need to get the most out of your talent and a bunch of offensive players regressed.

His career average season yards is 568 (538 before this year, again with a multi mvp qb). Gabe Davis averages 661 a year. Allen has become a better player than I could have ever imagine. We definitely need to upgrade the weapons around him, which will become tougher with the money he is going to make. The chiefs faced this problem, traded away a top 5 and HOF receiver and scumbag, and he got better. Kelce is one of the best tes ever but stop pretending like that isn’t a pedestrian receiving core besides him. Mahomes is on the path to being the best qb in nfl history. Stop nitpicking.

Hes on film knocking a woman out and for drafted in the first place. He’s considered one of the best rbs and he’s young. He will be forgiven and given another shot because teams and most fans don’t care about this stuff if youre good enough.
