  1. Always makes me laugh, because that season, before the concussion, people (and not just here at TBD, but ESPN talking heads) were mentioning him as MVP material. He was something special that year before the injury. Sad really.
  2. It just means that Kyle Williams doesnt think he is good enough to warrant a big contract. The guy has a confidence problem and it is rubbing off on the rest of the team. We should cut him now. [/sarcasm] (Too soon???)
  3. If you have a link to where one of these guys signed...paste it in the thread and I will update. Likewise if there are players not on this list (that are worthy of this list...) Let me know. 4. Thats hysterical. When Vince Young, Marc Bulger and Alex Smith are/were available...
  5. Dont remember seeing this guy play, but his age, stats line, and the fact that he was their defensive QB all seem to make him a good fit here. Anyone seen him play? (Note: I have see NO info that he is considering the bills)
  6. I just dont get you people...New CBA says we HAVE to spend the cap. If we dont, we STILL spend the money. Use it or lose it. If you have to overpay to use it, so be it.
  7. So...I am going to bank on this.... The bills are 2-3 years away from being a playoff contender. The Patriots are 2-3 years away from being old and washed up. Brady is 34 now. Ocho is 33. Welker is 30. In 2-3 years, they will be old and we should be young and on the rise. But in reality, next year they will trade Ocho for a pair of first round picks... My first thought though...Thank god we re-signed Florence! Oh...and if I was the guy who was wearing 85 on the Pats....Luckiest man alive
  8. Also remember that as Busy as the teams are, the Agents are just as busy.
  9. Crap. While not a great player, he was adequate. He always seemed to like buffalo. He will be missed. Jax gain...out loss.
  10. So I am going to talk out of both sides of my mouth... 1) There are ALOT of free agents, UDFAs and players who will actually make an NFL roster sitting out there. The Rookie Draft picks, while we want to get them in Camp...are GOING to be Bills, so its probably not worth alot of time right now getting them signed. Focus on the Free Agents. 2) The Front office has had MONTHS to figure this out...they should have had contracts sitting on the fax machine ready to go. Press send and get them out to every agent out there. (Note, this isnt specifically a Bills topic).
  11. Does anyone else think this guy looks EXACTLY like Keenan Thompson? http://www.coolmarriedguy.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/kenan-thompson-defends-chris-brown2.jpg http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://cdn.bleacherreport.net/images_root/slides/photos/000/628/489/107975537_display_image.jpg%3F1294776294&imgrefurl=http://bleacherreport.com/articles/569591-2011-nfl-mock-draft-nick-fairley-aj-green-and-the-rest-of-the-class-of-2011&usg=__TNjbCSyepIXRE15sFdGV6CS-4xU=&h=233&w=350&sz=34&hl=en&start=172&zoom=1&tbnid=EReDV1OrXqaeTM:&tbnh=154&tbnw=217&ei=6t0xTZHsLo3AgQfHy6y2Cw&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dnick%2Bfairley%26um%3D1%26hl%3Den%26safe%3Doff%26client%3Dfirefox-a%26sa%3DN%26rls%3Dorg.mozilla:en-US:official%26biw%3D1280%26bih%3D646%26tbs%3Disch:10%2C4633&um=1&itbs=1&iact=hc&vpx=335&vpy=292&dur=501&hovh=155&hovw=233&tx=126&ty=87&oei=N90xTcX8Msqr8Aby1KTKCA&esq=18&page=10&ndsp=19&ved=1t:429,r:1,s:172&biw=1280&bih=646
  12. At least its only 5k. This poor guy hardly makes anything and is just having fun. Hope Ralph opens up his checkbook a bit this offseason for StevieJ. Not saying he needs to be a high paid guy, but need to reward him for this season he is having.
  13. see: http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/news?slug=dw-boise110709 First Paragraph: Boise State athletic director Gene Bleymaier is all but begging for a major opponent – any major opponent – to play his Broncos, particularly in 2011. He can hardly get his calls returned. Not by the SEC. Not by the Big Ten. Not by anyone."
  14. Fair enough. Sounds like the perfect scenario then would be to give them all a chance at competing for a championship...gee..how could we do that...oh maybe a playoff?!
  15. I would argue that Over and Over again, Boise State proves it CAN compete with the big dogs. In recent years they are UNDEFEATED including wins over Oklahoma, TCU (x2), Virginia Tech and Oregon (x2). To say they are not as good as Oregon is silly when they have beaten them in both 2008 and 2009! I 100% concur with you that their schedule is not as good, but you cannot sit here with a straight face and tell me that they are DEFINITELY NOT the best team in college football. They may not be able to beat Oregon or Auburn this year, but to say they should not have a change is just crazy. This is my favorite argument from BCS supporters. The real issue is that teams (i.e. Boise State & TCU), can go undefeated and not get a shot at the championship. If you are LSU, and you get shut out of the playoffs, tough. You had your game and you blew it. If you were undefeated you would make the playoffs. LSU had their chance. If they are lucky enough to get a 2nd chance, so be it, but not at the expense of a team (i.e. TCU) who did everything right and WON all their games. I hate the BCS. Lets go to a playoff system. Hopefully Alabama beats Auburn and we have utter BCS chaos.
  16. Correction...ALL 32 teams passed on him multiple times. Just glad the bills grabbed him in the 7th!
  17. While its ludicrous to even speculate on playoffs this year...i do wonder...are we "mathematically" eliminated at this point?
  18. Sorry, duplicate post...Mods - Please Delete
  19. And...I just thought of this...reunited with Lynch!
  20. SalSports on Twitter: The Seattle Seahawks have signed former #Bills QB JP Losman, according to head coach Pete Carroll.
  21. I think they are just "red-shirting" him this year. Running backs have limited life in this league. Why let him get beat up when you arent going to win anyway.
  22. He just doesnt have schobel to compete with him anymore in that category
  23. A friend of mine is having his first baby (girl). I am looking for something funny. The "IPood" is a little overdone, but its the kind of thing I am looking for. I have also seen "Daddys little Tax Deduction" and one with a paperclip that says "it looks like you are attempting to raise this child, do you need help?" You get the idea. Can anyone help me find some good (and funny) Clothes for a newborn? Thanks!
  24. Funny how a salary cap (per player) is causing so much trouble. There is no bidding war for Lebron. he can only make the maximum salary. hence, he can go to the best place for him regardless of salary. Crazy. Just reinforces to me how sound the NFL is financially with the way they work the cap.
