If your players need the coaching staff to get them motivated, then you have the wrong players. Coaching can help with good game plans and teaching rookies. But it is the players who have to perform, this is where talent comes to the front.

I am willing to give the coaching staff a chance and the super bowl should be the goal, not just the playoffs. Andy was the only real lose. He should been addressed before he hit fa. The Peters problem was caused by our FO. Peters was ok with his contract until they went out and signed Dockery and Walker to contracts that were double Peters.

Here is the problem with your draft. Why would SF want to give up those draft picks to move up 4 spots? SF is just as bad as the Bills, they need all the picks they can get. GMs, that do these kind of trades, are usally out of work in a couple of seasons. If the Bills do not pick Cam, then SF will have it's choice of QBs.

This is why the NFL, is littered with failed players who had it all. Speed, power, size great college stats. But too many player's goals are, to get into the NFL and sign the big contract. GMs and coaches, have to search out the intangibles,like work ethic and determination,to become great. Too many players get the contract, then fail to do the work necessary, to make them selves better. Tom Brady did not wow them at the combine, but he had the determination and work ethic to make himself one of the best QBs.

I think that is up to the GM and coaching staff, to determine who is the best player for the system they run. Based on the scouting, he creates a board that list, these are the six best tackles, or RBs ETC. I think the failure, is the number of coaching staffs, that the Bills have had over the last 10 years. Each coaching staff, seems to have different systems and requirements. To me, that is where the failure is.
