You get one player this offseason…who is it?
John from Riverside replied to McBean's topic in The Stadium Wall
My realistic pick would be Melvin Ingram When Von Miller went down or pass, Rush disappeared I don’t wanna be drafting any more edges. I definitely don’t want our first round pick to be a defensive player but taking an older age that’s still got a little bit of juice left would really help. I’m actually wondering whether or not we might be able to get jerry Hughes back -
Von Miller's injury, and pass rush needs this offseason

I am concerned that Epenesa and Basham are the same player essentially good enough in a rotation to play, but not difference makers I would bring in a guy like Melvin Ingram, a solid vet to work opposite Russo until Von Miller gets back and then you got a rotation of those three I would trade one of Epenesa and Basham -
I picked Bijan Robinson but I don’t expect him to be on the board when we pick at 27 My very next pic if we were lucky enough to get Robinson would be a lineman that can both run block and passprotect well In my real world scenario, Bijan Robinson is not on the board and we take the best available lineman

Sometimes you just really want to be a fly on the wall in the conversations for the team Brandon bean has shown the ability to bring in offensive talent. He did it the year that he traded the first round pick for Stefon Diggs that ***** was genius in the offense immediately got better. But The cursory wave that we appear to do whenever it comes to pass, protection and run blocking, is very frustrating It’s like we got the really nice house, but decided to go cheap on the insurance Josh Allen masks a lot he really is one of the best players in the league. The problem is when we get into the playoffs where all the teams are good you can only mask so much. I would really like to see this team make a concerted effort to create a team that if Josh Allen was not behind center we would still win. I feel like that’s the mentality that they have to take in order to get the rest of the way there. Absolutely no defensive players with that first round pick

Don It’s not the people questioning it it’s to the crazy links that they will go while they’re doing it Now we have Internet fans that think that they know more than football players about football, as if someone here is actually in a better position to speak, and Lee Smith I’m not quite sure what toe the company line means. Lee Smith is no longer a buffalo bill. I actually enjoy these podcasts from former players like Lee Smith, Jerry Ostrosky, John Fina, because of the insight, they actually bring being former NFL players. People can be upset I’m not surprised the people are upset, but just because somebody’s typing on a computer doesn’t make them an expert and they shouldn’t be bad mouthing players It’s very strange to me because if you listen to these people, do you know these Internet master minds talk you would think that this team should be drafting in the top five every year like the Jets You gotta be in it to win it I refuse to come off of a 13 and three season and treat it like it’s an object failure it’s not we just were not the best team I want to see what changes if any are made to show that we learned a lesson from the previous year that can come in the form of the types of players, schemes, etc. etc. I’m not saying that you’re saying this, but going in saying that football players don’t know anything and that everybody sucks and wearing that is some kind of badge of courage just makes people look like an idiot

Why bother with Special Teams?
John from Riverside replied to ProcessTruster's topic in The Stadium Wall
Special teams won at least one game for us this year those two touchdown returns by Noel Hines critical to that win -

The best young pass rusher on the planet, whoever that is As long as I don’t have to use any of my cap room to get them this is a dream scenario, right -

Guys, they can block in guys that can tackle on special teams But we should be using a lot more draft picks for this -
Khalil Shakir / answer for WR 2 / Makes Sports Illustrated
John from Riverside replied to Figster's topic in The Stadium Wall
I would really like to know what really happened there. Shakur made way too many plays to believe that he pulled the best disappearing act But I’d also like to know why Elam was sat down for a week with no explanation explanation -
The guy that is literally had a job on an NFL team every year knows more than you do You should stay on your couch because you would’ve gotten ran over You’re allowed to be a stupid as you want as a customer I actually think he played quite well, but he just hit a wall older players do that to me it’s the exact situation that we want now hopefully without the wall moving Gabe Davis to the third position
