  1. If your choice is @PIT or at home vs HOU… I think I know what most people on here would take.
  2. Above anything else, I hope the coaching staff is focused on the first half issues and sorts them out. Whether that be problems with game planning, practices, effort, or whatever… something needs to be done about it. This is not going to cut it come January. We can’t count on Allen orchestrating 21 point comebacks every week.
  3. Imagine if the team played the first half like they played the second half... It's an issue they really need to figure out for the playoffs. They can get away with it against younger or inexperienced teams, but it just makes it much more difficult than it needs to be. They don't need to blow out a team but they do need to play four quarters.
  4. Allen's clearly the better quarterback but make no mistake - Maye is going to be an issue for us moving forward. This guy is better than Tua or whoever the Jets put up next year.
  5. Brazil would be ideal - minimal time zone difference and it's right at the beginning of the season. Might as well get that game out of the way on full rest, and enjoy a longer break between weeks 1 and 2.
  6. It's probably data he gets from the 506 discord, a poster there named reganBuffalo posted it every week last year. I don't know if that's currently the case as that discord went paid this year and I think it's silly to pay for it.
  7. Agree. His crews usually call a good game and he's typically calling games deep into the playoffs. We could do a lot worse than Hussey.
  8. Wow that CBS 1pm slate is dreadful. Bills/Browns Bengals/Dolphins Jets/Saints Chiefs/Titans I would guess Chiefs/Titans gets the widest exposure but holy moly, what a bunch of miserable games.
  9. Hard disagree. I think the easiest path for us is Pittsburgh -> Denver -> AFCCG. I want nothing to do with Houston or Jacksonville.
  10. Because the game in Orchard Park was on NBC, NFL media rules dictate that the second game must go to CBS. CBS could have flex'ed it to 4:25, but it is a double-doubleheader next week for CBS and FOX. They want good games heading each of the four windows, hence why this game didn't move from 1pm.
  11. Exactly what I am thinking... really do not want to see the quick pass to Shakir which I fear is coming.
  12. .... and there's your McDermott defensive timeout.
  13. Where did it go out of bounds though? It has to be over the pylon for it to be a touchback.
  14. Wow a Christmas miracle, we forced a punt.
  15. This is the way. I go once a year and once I discovered this hack, it felt like I won the lottery. I always try to book a room at the Hampton Inn in East Aurora because it makes exiting the stadium afterwards so much easier. As a data point, I sat on the Kelly club side for the Patriots game. My 68 year old dad and I were able to make the walk from there over to Kings Ct and Big Tree and drive back to the hotel in under 35 minutes. That includes both the walk and the drive. You can turn right onto Big Tree from that lot in under a minute, usually under 30 seconds. Some people are stuck in the larger lots for nearly an hour. I always get a chuckle because the lady that runs that lot really has her husband under her thumb. She is all business, parks the cars in super tight, and makes it very clear when she thinks her husband isn't doing a good enough job to fit enough cars in there.
  16. Except they were making mistakes - Allen threw that pick on the pass to Davis and Cook fumbled the ball. Sal is a good guy but he's a homer for sure and I just think there's more to the story. It very much feels like there is no sense of urgency coming from this team week-to-week and it's showing in the results.
  17. This is where I am. I feel like this was more about the Steelers being awful than the Bills being really good. That first half was a stinker and reminiscent of the 6-3 Cleveland game during the drought. As you mentioned, the fact that they couldn't get motivated until there was a cheap shot against Allen tells me something's wrong with the coaching. This season's theme has been stupid penalties, poor defense (until McDermott took over the play calling), and inconsistent performance week to week. Those are all coaching issues. It feels like the team goes through the motions until there's some sort of disruptive event that wakes them up. It's gotta stop. I enjoyed the win but this left me with more questions than answers. How can we be so terrible against the Dolphins and barely eek out a win against the Saints, but beat the Steelers in Pittsburgh?
  18. I don't see how this can't be put on the coaching staff. The offense does not look ready to play, there's just so many stupid mistakes out there.
  19. So basically McD and the refs don't know the rules, great.
  20. Why take it on the kickoff in these conditions? Make them kick the long PAT.
  21. Who wants to bet the next play will be a handoff to Cook?
