TD... he's had more time. MM was close to playoffs last year, and this year injuires and bad management (with a poor Def Coord.) has hurt the team. Give MM another year, TD... sorry, you had your chance.

I don't think that "losing heart" means nothing. It means that once upon a time Eric Moulds cared about the game, winning, and putting forth 100% all the time, being selfless for the better of the team... because it is for the better of the team. Since this year, he has been complaining about JP, whining about the oranization bringing in a new quarterback... he is not passionate anymore. He should have been screaming to be put into the game... he honestly doesn't care. No more heart= no more passion

#2 Defense, #7 Offense in 1st Quarter
BuckeyeBill replied to AKC's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So... 1. The Bills are good at studying for the game, but when other teams adjust... we just can't keep up. This is evidence of poor coaches who do their homework, not good coaches. 2. The Bills players start out strong in offense and defense, and then fade and become the worst team in the league by the end of the game. This shows players who are talented, but very low on conditioning. And get tired easily. 3. This Bills are tops at the beginning and terrible at the end. Too bad ALL games are decided at the end. Indicitive of a 5-11 record the Bills will end with. It's sad that from week to week, I don't really care if the Bills win or lose anymore. This reminds me of Donahoe's FIRST YEAR in Buffalo. (Okay, to be honest, I would love to see Buffalo spank the Patriots next week... but that's because I hate them Patriots, not necessarily because I want to see the Bills end with a better record.) -
This poor and CONSTANTLY underachieving player named Eric Moulds whines more than my little niece when she's missed her nap. Waahh wahhh... I don't get the ball that much. Waahh wahhh... I don't get one quarterback like Marvin Harrison. Waahh wahhh... Lee Evans is better than me in scoring touchdowns. Waahh wahhh... I'm not gonna get 10 million dollars next year so I'm gonna not play very hard. Hopefully I won't age this year either. Moulds makes me sick. During the Flutie era, Moulds was great. Something happened... he lost heart. Now I can't wait until the most tenured Bill gets kicked out on his butt. Bye bye, Eric... I wish you had gotten hurt and put out of football 3 years ago... that way I would respect the player you were. Now, I just see a whiner.

Good thought... hopeful thought. Crossing my fingers for a 300 yard day for Losman. And a win!

If Buffalo turns against Wilson... and he takes it personally... He will sell the team to Los Angelas likely. Los Angelas will NOT call themselves the Bills, but will create an entire new team, name, etc. We will HATE that Los Angelas team and have one of two options.. Root for Cleveland (I'd rather die) or some other team or Not follow football anymore. I vote that the fans do not turn on Wilson. It is a lose-lose situation if they do.

The third pick from Tennessee is what we got for Henry. Who knows how we will use it, it will be interesting to see. I'd rather have McGahee than Henry though. It will be interesting to see if Henry/Peerless is better than McGahee/#3 pick.

CNN "X" over Cheney during speech.

Who's the best QB we've played in '05?
BuckeyeBill replied to AKC's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
How humbling is it that the Bills are now a team that the opposing quarterbacks can use to improve their rating. Three quarterbacks over 100 and only 1/2 of the way through this year is embarrassing. -
Glass Is Full, Rose Colored Glasses
BuckeyeBill replied to plenzmd1's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Carolina (inconsisten team at home) New England (our Superbowl game at home) Denver (the toughest win of the three, but it is also at home) Possible... definitely yes, likely... no, we'll lose one of the three and be out. The only way that the Bills go to the playoffs is if New England self destructs against not only KC and the Bills, but also some other team. -
Palmer has great motivation to play well in this game. Definitely start him. Leftwich will not put up 300 yards and 4 TD, but Palmer has that ability each week no matter the defense.

I am sure that McGahee has this game circled on his calendar. This is an interesting contest wherein McGahee can prove to the world that he is an elite back. Running-backs are always compared with each other within a game (remember last week of LJ vs WM). McGahee will get what he wanted, constant comparision with the best runningback in the league. LT has an advantage playing against the 31st run defense and McGahee going against the number 1 run defense. This is an away game (where the Bills never do well). Also, San Diego has to be annoyed with their poor record and are very hungry to beat up on the Bills. Very hungry to beat up on McGahee. If Willis can overcome all that adversity and put out numbers better than LT, he can officially consider himself an elite back. Does anybody think that he can outplay Tomlinson this week?

J.P. Lowsman is the reincahnation of Kenny Stablah
BuckeyeBill replied to ofiba's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Why did you pick Stabler out of all the great quarterbacks? -
Here's the scenerio. Two important games. OSU vs MICH Penn St. vs Mich St OSU win, Penn State win - OSU and PSU share the title together. OSU win, Penn State lose - OSU has the title outright. MICH win, Penn State lose - Split title between all three teams MICH win, Penn State win - Penn State has the title outright Michigan can not have the title outright. There is no tie-breakers for the Big 10 Title. The title is split all the time. Even in 2002 when OSU won the National Title against Miami, the Big 10 title was still split because another team in the Big 10 went undefeated in the Big 10.

USC has to be Number 1, until they lose. Not losing for three years, I don't care if they win by the skin of their teeth each week, they deserve to be #1. Texas has to be Number 2, undefeated... and beating my Buckeyes in the shoe is not easy. OSU should also be in the top 5 (losing to Texas BARELY (if one of three plays would have gone differently, Buckeyes win that one), and losing to Penn State (was one play gone wrong), not to mention we were playing on a hostile stadium. Also, the Buckeyes are a much better team now then they were losing those two games... an offense that is on fire... which all the world will see when the Buckeyes destroy Michigan IN Michigan. And Penn State doesn't get its props. They are literally one bounce of the ball away from being undefeated. They deserve a top 5 placement too.

What... is that person from Canada? (Banging head against the wall)

Careful here... as a Science teacher I need to inform you that Science is the search for answers. The Bible is in fact that... a road map to find answers for your life... Whether you agree with it or not, it is a search for answers and therefore... science.

If you want a more secular society/government, I'm sure you could move up to Canada. The United States was founded as a Christian country and continues to be one today. Leave or deal...

Is Willis Mcgahee our RB of the future
BuckeyeBill replied to RVJ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Aside from Edge, none of those other runningbacks come close to Willis. Many of them are over-the-hill. Where is LT, SA, and Portis on your board? -
The only loss the Bills have had at home this year is against the Falcons (probably the best team in the NFC right now). I'm not shocked that they are favored, they play well at home. I will be happily surprised if the Bills DO WIN however.
-
I think Takeo not being on our team makes our defense remarkably weaker. Also, we don't have a solid interior to our defensive line. Sam is overrated and Anderson is 2-3 years away from reaching his potential (who knows what that will be). It also doens't help that Edwards is hurt.
-
When they clinch their division, they will rest their starters... and they will lose a game or two. I predict 14-2.
-
Granted... if they somehow DO make the playoffs, I will be shocked if they don't have their jock-straps handed to them in the first round... but.... do they have a chance to get there in the first place? YES THEY DO. My thinking is that 9-7 will win this division, and possibly 8-8 (with a tie breaker) may take the prize as well. The Jets are about to implode (if they haven't already)... if they end better than 6-10 I will be shocked. The Dolphins will find a way to lose at least three more games... they won't end up better than 8-8. Meaning the division will be down to the Patriots and the Bills. Patriots need to lose 2 games and lose to the Bills. They will be 9-7. The Bills can only lose 2 games and win agains the Patriots. They will be 9-7. It will come down to a tie breaker of which the Bills now hold the advantage (assuming they win versus the Patriots in five weeks). The game of the year is obviously the Patriots game at the Ralph. But a key game will be this week's Kansas City game. If somehow the Bills beat the Chiefs and the Patriots lose to the Chiefs (whom they play in 3 weeks) and lose the Bills in five weeks, all the Bills have to do is match the Patriots week to week and they are in the playoffs. It is a very real possiblity considering how awful the Patriots are this year. Should I be getting my hopes up again? Only to be crushed once more?? What do you think?

I've never understood this anti TD movement
BuckeyeBill replied to Mr. T's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
As I was telling my brother yesterday... the Bills didn't go to the Superbowls in the early 90s because of Thurman Thomas and Andre Reed. They went there because of Kent Hull and Bruce Smith. TD has not given us a line: Scrubs (Teague, Anderson, Gandy, Vallariel) and a person drafted too highly (M. Williams). And the Defensive Line is nothing special. Football is won in the lines my friend. I was a believer that McNally could do miracles, but was wrong. Krumrie has done a good job but has so little to work with. The Bills need help, but it's not at the skill positions of RB and WR, its found at the lines. Hopefully we address this in the offseason because I am sure we won't have to worry about game-planning for the Superbowl.
