  1. Can the Colts really afford to keep Reggie Wayne? Manning and Harrison make a lot of cake... won't Wayne want to be payed that type of money too?
  2. Isn't Vanderjagt supposed to be the best kicker? He really blew it for his team... I don't think they will be quick to forgive him. After Norwood missed his kick, his team knew he was heartbroken. The players looked into his eyes and there was no apology necessary. After Vanderjagt missed his MUCH EASIER kick, he didn't seem apologetic at all. What a putz... keep that overpriced kicker away from Buffalo please!
  3. I don't think that Wilson can be stingy now. If he doesnt' get a good coach and RIGHT NOW... his legacy will be tarnished. He better pull out the money for his next coach and for key free agents.
  4. so.. explain to me why the Bills let him go and they kept... Grey???????????
  5. I don't understand all this bashing of Haslett. Sure his team did poorly this year. Aaron Brooks had the worst season of his career, Deuce McCalister had only 205 yards rushing (if you subtract the Bills game), and all of New Orleans was destroyed. To top it all off... they only had 7 home games!! Haslett is a good coach. You can't judge him off of this year. Judge him off next year when he takes the Bills to 9-7 and just miss the playoffs.
  6. But Haslett's team did beat Mularkey's team this year head to head.
  7. Very good point... I was wondering all year, what if Leinart got hurt, I mean really really hurt, so he couldn't play football again. That decision to go back to play another year would have been the decision he regretted the rest of his life.
  8. NO WAY... YOU'RE KIDDING ME! Who wants to be an instant millionaire and a #1 overall pick? This kid is nuts!
  9. First and foremost... I want to say congratulations to RB #34 Thurman Thomas who undoubtably will be selected into the Hall of Fame in February. But that's not my point. I am questioning the entire system for election. This is a question too... if you know the answer, please enlighten me. How many years is a person eligable for induction into the Hall of Fame. Is it FOREVER? Will Andre's name be nominated again and again and again and again, even after he dies until he's inducted or people stop being persistent? In fact, how are people nominated? In my ignorance... (and yes I know I'm ignorant here), I have to believe that the system is flawed. There should be a set limit of nominations (and not being elected). I don't want to be an old man and hear Andre Reed being again nominated for induction... even though I respect all he did for Buffalo. Another thought... if the Bills had won just one Superbowl, is there any doubt that he would indeed be inducted?
  10. There's no advantage to knowing Pi that far. What's the point? He should go memorize the Bible instead.
  11. Agreed... but let's hope is more like 1-2 years and not 3-4.
  12. True... but I think I said 3 of the first 5 picks, not two.
  13. Troy Smith... 2-0 versus Michigan.
  14. I think that McGahee is a breakaway guy... it concerns me that he hasn't done it yet. He did in college, that's for sure.
  15. Come to think of that... I would like to see Super Mario drafted by Buffalo. Hopefully he can be great. A solid pass rush immediately improves any defense.
  16. So, that's why we lost 11 games this year.
  17. That's impressive for USC.... having 3 of the top 5 picks. Has that ever happened before? From one school?
  18. I think you have a little too much animosity towards people. Dude... it was a question.
  19. I couldn't agree more. Haven't we been down this road before on similar threads?
  20. At least our coach doesn't look like an old lady anymore.
  21. What's wrong with Kelso? Didn't he get 6-7 interceptions a year for us?
  22. Quote from our new man in charge, Marv Levy. "The one thing I would interject into the personnel department that I would push very hard is picking players with high character... Ability without character will lose. The Buffalo Bills are going to be a team of high character, that's something I will push for very hard." When I think of a person with exceptional skill, potential, but low on the character front... Willis McGahee jumps to my mind. Now don't get me wrong... I LOVE McGAHEE. He's one of my favorite Buffalo Bills. Yet I hear things from him saying that HE is the best running back in the NFL, that HE should get more carries, that HE might hold out because of HIS wonderful agent named Rosenhaus. This is not high character in my mind, and even though he may be a top 5 talent at the runningback position in the league, might we have a new runningback in 2-3 years? What do you think? Are there other players that you believe to be marked as well?
  23. Definitely true about those who haven't declared yet. No Reggie Bush and no Vince Young.
  24. If (and that's a BIG IF) Brick is a bust (like Mike Williams), I will have a hard time justifying taking Williams ahead of Freeney and Brick ahead of Mario Williams. Imagine having both of those pass rushers...
