This is McD’s year to get it done or get out. -

James cook didn’t look the least bit threatening to me. And Allen, love the man but he holds on to the ball too long, too many times. -

I’m sorry. McD did not get the boys ready to play today. and that’s on him. Too much slapping high fives and bro hugs and Damar love. Not much intensity. The guys look like they’ve read the press clippings. Steelers looked like the execution was important to them. -

Looks like the same Bills D. stand around and watch the other team catch the ball or blow by you. Penalties galore to wipe out big plays or give the opponent a key first down. -

why not throw deep and maybe get a PI or holding to bail the offense out? they were due. Lack of awareness by coach and OC there -

I signed up for the 7 day free trial of NFL+ Premium subscription. Hopefully that works out ok and i can watch tonight’s game. Setting a reminder to cancel it in a few days. -
Practice fight (8/15) - Helmets are swinging

Tyrel Dodson needs to save some of that controlled rage for the Jets. -
What a terrifying accident and death. Sounds like she turned left in front of him, he came through her window and ended up dead in the back seat. So tragic and sad. Just wow. On a side note, a lady i work with said a deer ran out of the woods at night while she was driving, it crashed straight through her passenger side window and ended up dead in her lap. She was horrified. I get very anxious from that just hearing about it!

Areas/towns to stay for us out of state fans traveling in Oct?
zow2 replied to Cache's topic in The Stadium Wall
Growing up there, the only time I'd venture to the Southtowns is for Bills games or skiing, ha ha I'm partial to making Williamsville/Amherst the home base for a visit and having a car to hit downtown, the Falls, various wing joints,etc... as time permits. -
I agree. I liked Singletary. But Cook has some great potential. My problem last season is that when some defender scraped a fingernail on Cook he went down. He’d go down easily when breathed on. He’s gonna have to break some arm tackles occasionally.

He has to have the inside track for sure. McDermott must see that after this game. KA is not a quality backup whatsoever.

Barkley has always been solid at those touch, drop in the bucket passes. They just have to be able to give him that extra half second in the pocket. When the opponents scheme to pressure him that’s when he can get into trouble. But i’d trust him over Kyle Allen. I don’t get what anyone has ever seen in KA? Maybe he’d be OK as a backup for a team with few expectations like the Texans but the Bills are still in the “window”. They need a backup that can manage his way to some wins if necessary. It’s crucial

Kyle Allen blows

The few times i've seen Kyle Allen in a real NFL game he stunk. Not sure why he's here? The Bills can probably grab a QB off someone else's scrap heap after preseason and that player would be better.

None of these "free" streams that people linked work for me. They just bring up endless pop up ads. If you find one that works let me know.

Is Matt Barkley a better fit than Kyle Allen in this offense?
zow2 replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall
I recall seeing Kyle Allen play in a couple games (on Red Zone occasionally) and was completely unimpressed with what i saw. The Bills need to steal a promising QB from someone else's practice squad or whatever and groom him. or get a Vet. The QB behind Josh needs to be better than what we have. -
I used to buy tix on Stubhub but based on the posters experience and some others, I stopped a couple years ago. I've had good experiences with SeatGeek and Ticketmaster. As a matter of fact, I just bought 3 Bills @ Commanders tickets on SeatGeek. The transaction was fine and I got the digital tickets. The price and fees were painful though. Local Washington fans cannot believe how expensive the Bills game is. The Mafia is jacking up prices everywhere. It's way more pricey than the home opener vs. Ariz and even more expensive than the Eagles game there (which is always sold out by Philly fans taking an easy road trip).

That's solid. I dropped DTV and have the Verizon Fios bundle now. All told save about $50 per month on TV/Wifi.

Just signed up for the standalone NFL package. Man, that was a bit painful after getting heavily discounted or Free Sunday ticket for many years. No negotiating with YouTube....no human phone contact, you pay their price and receive it or you don't.

Stinks for Hines. There’s a very real possibility he never plays another game in a Bills uniform. Not just due to injury but who knows which direction the Bills go in for RB’s in 2024? Hines could be the odd man out. But if that’s the last we see of Nyheim, that New England game last season was a thing of beauty

Could be. I believe last season was year 2 of a legit 4 year Championship window. So here we are entering year 3 of the 4 year window. I still think they will have a great chance next season. Let's do it this year though. If it doesn't work out, i believe there will be wholesale changes..players, coaches after year 4.

Injuries, as mentioned in this thread are a huge factor. But let's face it, KC and Cincy have just as good a chance at having key injuries ruin their season as Buffalo. It's not even a matter of "injuries" because every team will have multiple. It's a matter of WHO gets hurt. Every good team in the AFC has Top-50 players in the NFL, or top-100. Injuries to those specific players are devastating. Especially QB, obviously.

There are some National talking heads that have the Bills on the decline...mainly due to other teams rising up in the AFC and Buffalo's tough schedule. For whatever reason, while still respected, the Bills are not a sexy pick this season to do much of anything. Does the fanbase feel they have a better chance at playing in the Super Bowl? or not making the playoffs? I know most of us here are homers... and personally I'd be more surprised if they miss the playoffs. The O looks to be really solid, the D is a question for me and how effectively McDermott tweaks it.
