  2. ....and when I sobered up I realized to my horror I have made my 2 sons in Louisiana Bills' fans! I now hear in their voices over the phone the same rabid enthusiasm and optimism that I have had for the last 40+ years. Then after any games that actually mean anything I then get to hear the same disgust and letdown that I have had to endure. It's the same kick to the nuts groans that they utter that really bothers me. Why did I do this to them??! Why didn't I just keep the pain and suffering to myself??! Btw, that saying that misery loves company is complete bs! What have I done??!!! The only saving grace is that they won't have to wait as long as I have had to to see Buffalo make the play-offs, I already got 15 !@#$ing years on them!
  3. I don't see it. One difference is Dareus was groomed as a Bill and may feel a bit more inclined to stay here. Of course if there are any changes made in the off season to the coaching could affect his thinking though. The same could be said for Hughes but I feel that it will just be about the money for him, having no obligation to the franchise. I hope that I'm wrong but that is what I suspect.
  4. I'm filing a Class Action Law Suit against the Buffalo Bills' franchise for domestic abuse. It seems to be the rage lately and I want in. Domestic abuse-believing that it's going to get better as you get battered day in, day out.
  5. There's no good reason for McKelvin to open his mouth BEFORE the game. It's just plain stupid.
  6. Cemented his status??! Is that because he fumbled at a critical point of the game??! Please, I know it's early but I'm inviting anybody to bookmark my comments and opinion on Brown. This guy will disappoint us in the course of time. I'm more than happy to stand on what I said about this guy. There's a reason why this guy has been a back up. I guess time will tell either way.
  7. Want to know the sick part? I TOTALLY agree with you two. That's how much Marrone & Barney Fife has turned me off.
  8. When the Bucs had a great defense and a meager offense new owner Malcolm Glazer made a bold move and traded for offensive minded Gruden. The good news is we don't have to trade any compensation, all we have to do is just pay the guy. I don't like Marrone, can't stand Hackett's play calling and just feel like most of our star players are being misused aka Spiller, Mike Williams and our OL personnel. Schwartz, like Pettine, handles the defense, so what is Marrone responsible for?? The offense? For a guy who was a former OL, why is that one of our more persistent areas of concern?? Get rid of this !@#$ before we waste another season with him. I want us to retain Spiller, he bleeds blue, and get rid of this Bryce Brown. I'm usually pretty excited and optimistic whenever we make a trade or pick a player up but I NEVER wanted Brown. The guy is a dancing, fumbling fool and he will never be a Bill in my eyes and if Boobie, good name for him, doesn't buy in totally to the fanbase then get rid of his ass too. I want players that are Bills, not imported idiots. Lock up Bradham before it gets to be a Byrd type situation, re-sign Spiller and get someone in here that knows how to utilize him and the other offensive players and have a strong 2015 team because I'm not to hopeful for this year's outcome.
  9. Haha CornerMan, I JUST watched this on the Bills' App! I LOVE Bradham, the guy is a beast! He's one of my favorite Bill and can't wait to see him, Kiko and Brown all on the field at the same time! Great player, great video, thanks for posting it. If I'm not mistaken Bradham is in his last year. If so I say sign him NOW! Go Bills!
  10. They're not getting, they are actually regressing, if that's possible. I thought that playing at home was suppose to be advantage. It's embarrassing, it really is.
  11. Not that I'm aware of. Matter of fact all I have ever heard from him were positive things he had to say about his time here. Takeo helped promote playing here to his cousin Brandon when he was a FA. I always felt that Spikes was one of our greater ambassadors.
  12. I'd sure like to see us re-sign Hughs and Dareus. I think that we have the salary room to do it and the rest of our defense and skilled positions on offense are already signed for the most part. I like having a good defense, I almost forgot what it was like to have one.
  13. Aggravation and frustration on Sundays, forgiveness on Tuesdays. Mondays are too soon.....that's for healing! Lol! If the Bills lose to the Vikings come Sunday there will be a line at the Falls to jump off.....without a barrel! Go Bills!
  14. This post was only intended for the kind of person that EJ is, not what kind of QB he is. It doesn't matter if his benching is the right call or not to me. He is one of our players if you like it or not. Can't someone recognize him for the kind of person that he is or can we only discuss what kind of player he is? As I stated earlier I'm not disputing that we shouldn't bench him, I merely was stating what kind of person I believe he is and that I feel for him. Are we that cynical and callous that we only can view him for what he can do for us?? I'm a long standing Bills' fan and have suffered through these years as much as anybody else but there are other things in football that I appreciate, it's not anyways just result driven. Do hope some of you get more joy out of this team than what you have been getting because I think that you really need it.
  15. With all due respect I don't think that's why this kid plays this game, or I like to at least think that and that is one of the reasons why I feel for him. I believe that the game is his life long dream and I don't like seeing ANYONE'S dreams being broken when they have totally dedicated themselves their whole lives towards their goals. I believe EJ plays for the love of the game and I like that.
  16. I totally agree and I actually posted something just now along the similar lines! THIS is what makes Fred our Captain and the heart and soul of this team! Talk about about a leader! Stuff like this doesn't show up on some stat line but it 's the kind of thing that makes me wrap myself around this team! It will be a VERY sad day in Buffaloville when FJax finally hangs up his cleats. We can only hope that someone can try and step up and be half the leader that he is! God Bless you Fred and thanks for being a Buffalo Bill! Go Bills!
  17. With that being said I'm not disputing if this is the right move or the wrong move but I will say that it's not all EJ's fault and I believe that this point shouldn't be overlooked with this changing of the guards. From Hackett to the OL to the WRs there is enough blame to go around for this last game in particular. I didn't get to watch the whole game but I saw enough to see that our game plan was not even remotely in the vicinity of what I was expecting. All week long I was fully expecting us to run the ball down Houston's throat and to see that we only ran 23 times the whole game makes me question if EJ was given a fair chance to succeed. I will say that the JJ Watt pick 6 was totally and utterly horrific, from the play calling of that play to the execution of that play and the timing of that play. Anyways I'm getting off track here. I just want to say that I feel bad for EJ. He is such a good kid and his parents must be very proud of him for the young man that he is. Football aside and being a father of 4 fantastic kids, 3 being sons, I really respect the parenting of EJ and the quality of a person that EJ is. I hope that he's not taking this benching too hard and I feel for him. All I know is this, I would be proud as a peacock to have a son like him, the kid is what a parent would want in their son, hard working, committted and dedicated and just flat out respectful. Hang in there EJ, and I feel that you will, I believe in YOU and I have a sneaky suspicion that this whole set back is going to make you better. It's always darkest before the dawn and I truly believe that you're going to have plenty of newer and brighter dawns ahead of you. Hang in there kid, I'm pulling for you!
  18. Meh was just on Sirius Radio and Ross Tucker told him that one of his regrets was that he didn't visit on the Fridays before the home games. Ross said that if he were to ever play again that he would make it a point to do that and Da'Norris should do that. Searcy then said that he thinks he'll do it this Friday because of the home game with the Chargers. It's great to see how much our players think of their fans! Go Bills!
  19. The whole first half I was standing up screaming at the TV. It seems like almost every play I was yelling go Corey f¥€&ing Graham or it was go Kyle €&ing Williams! It didn't matter who the player was on Buffalo he always has the same freaking middle name! What a great game and what a great victory! Go Bills!
  20. More importantly we have the offensive components to dictate, especially since EJ took a huge step last week in maturing right before our eyes. We have the massive OL that can withstand the onslaught of their DL which happens to be a strength of theirs. I fully expect them to open some sizable holes for our RBs. They are decimated at the LB position and once our RBs hit the second level it will be off to the races for us! Sprinkle in our 3 W's (Watkins, Woods and Williams) and we'll have them reeling. Look for Spiller to take one to the house on KOs and our defense to feed off of the home town crowd. We look to be getting to be a bit more healthy on defense with Gilmore and Bradham coming back and Preston having gotten his feet wet last week should be quite a formidable jacked up crew going when their offense has the ball. I don't expect this one to even be close. I'm calling off work come Sunday regardless of the consequences and I'll be right in front of my TV down here in SW Florida! This is going to be one of the biggest games that I can remember in a long time! I sure wish that I could be at The Ralph but I'll settle for just looking at my big framed picture of it that my son got me a few Christmases ago. Just know this, I will be with many of you in spirit and if you hear some faint distant screaming that will be me losing my mind as we squish the phish! Go Bills!
  21. That's a quote from John Murphy from his show early today/yesterday. It's true, it says it all. We have been living in the unknown fear of what is going to happen to this franchise. Now it's all put to rest, we can rest. The Pegulas, in the process of what they did by purchasing this organization and ensuring it's future in Buffalo, validates us. We are once again solidified as a bonafide stable NFL team that knows it's future and it feels good! One other note in closing. I, like many, didn't know what was going to happen before the Bears' game. With all the uncertainy of the team and what to expect from them, the publicized eruptions from the administration, some newer players questioning the fans after the preseason and last but not least the unknown abilities of EJ's play and leadership. That is what I want to state more than anything is I as a fan of this team felt about EJ. I admit that before the game I was in great doubt of him and was dragging what I was going to witness from him. I gladly admit that I was wrong about him. He showed me an awful lot in that game and I am firmly a believer in him from here on out. Seeing him play in that game,I know the stat line was modest, showed what kind of player and leader that he can be. We are in good hands folks, regardless of what kind of ups and downs that we may endure. All we need is for him to stay healthy and we'll be fine. A lot has come to light since that game . His work ethic and dedication is unsurpassed. Couple that with how and what he said and did Saturday night in front of the offense screamed of leadership. The kid rose to the challenge and not only did he met it but more importantly he conquered it! Does anyone really comprehend and appreciate just what this kid must of had to face??! Barely a 2nd year player, not much more than a kid, plopped right smack dab in the middle of a volcanic situation in not only this franchise but in this community as well and he came up aces! I haven't even gotten into the quality of person he is. I have been reading a heck of a lot about him since Sunday and this man has been committed his whole life and it's wonderful to watch his dreams unfold for him, to be a very small part of it and to know that's happening through us, with us and for us. I am so proud if him and grateful that this type if person, this type of man and this type of player is wearing our colors. I will never wonder or question him again. I am a EJ Manual fan 100% from here on out and to paraphrase a former Buffalo Bill, "That's my QB!"
  22. Here's an article from The Buffalo News. I'm posting it here because of this little quote. • People always seem surprised when Fred Jackson breaks a long run, but his career rushing average of 4.5 is higher than that of Reggie Bush, Ray Rice, Matt Forte, Marshawn Lynch, Steven Jackson and Knowshon Moreno, among others. Interesting. I'm not a big numbers guy, I'm a believer in chemistry, heart and determination type of thing, which is why I'm a Fred Jackson fan, so here's for the analytical type fan(s). Numbers don't lie. For some reason I can't copy the link but it's from today's Jerry Sullivan article.
  23. It's truly been a great week for this franchise and it's fan base. In all that's been happening this one is for you Mr. Ralph Wilson! Go Bills!
  24. Don't you mean Tampa Boob??
  25. Save your breath, there's something retarded about this guy. Give him a break, he's trying to get some joy out of harassing this board because he's miserable that his favorite team got slapped around yesterday at home by a team that didn't even have a QB. Lol! Let's talk about some of your 'star' players on your team pal, I need some entertainment.
