Is a good line going to turn Holcomb into a Pro-Bowler? Don't think so. We need a QB and a line, but what good is a line if you've got nothing valuable to protect? I would trade every pick in the draft for him. Obviously I'm not advocating that so before you tear my head off, know that. I just think he is going to be an excellent qb and I would gladly trade this year and next years 1st rounders and whatever else it took to trade up to 2 and take him. I don't care of Losman pans out, he's not half as good as Young is on Young's worst day. Face it, we're not making the playoffs with the QBs we have right now. So you can draft all the OL and DL you want, but we have nothing behind center. I'm not giving Losman time, I didn't see ANY indication last year that he was maturing or that he ever would.

Bell has upside and could be a pro bowler. I'd take him for a reasonable sum.

Ok so I know it sounds weird, but I'm a second year law student and other than reading the front page of the drudge report once a week in class I really have been so swamped I have not read ANYTHING about the Bills in the news. Having just gotten a bunch done I have started the process of reading all the articles on the news page, but there are so many of them. Could someone PLEASE recap our offseason for me? I know Mularkey left, but all I have heard is he was unhappy with the direction the team was going. What is Losman's status? I saw my first game ever in Buffalo when they played Atlanta and he looked simply terrible. I appreciate any info you give me. I value all the members of this board.
