David Givens has the talent to be a #1 in the league. He has progressed every year he has played. If you actually take the time to look at his play and not just his numbers you'd see that. I also like the pick of Jason Avant at #2, but I can't justify spending a high pick on him.

Yeah I saw that coming as soon as I posted it. Ooops!!!! =) But personally, I don't think you can get excited about one thing same as I'm willing to admit that writing him off this early would be foolish. What I really wanted to see from him was some level of consistency whether it be accurate passing or consistently improving decision-making skills. I really feel like he hasn't progressed. As for the second part. I stand by my comment. You cannot possibly look at a draft when we have multiple positions of need and say there is only one player that would come in and really help us.

Yes that's it. Losman's incompletions MUSt have been because the coaches made him throw the ball wrong. What the heck are you talking about. You get a play you execute it. you can blame coaches for poor gameplans, but don't try and say "well they were good for this guy, but they stunk for this other one" that's simply foolish.

UM's coach said Everett had more raw physical talent than ANY TE he had at Miami. That said, raw talent doesnt translate into being a great player. I think he could be a really good TE. Drafting a TE when we have many other needs is foolish though (in my opinion, not insulting anyone). How is he gonna ever catch a pass if our qbs get sacked before they get to their 3rd step?

I'm assuming the people who have us taking a cb were of the mind that nate is gone. The best place to check our draft picks in mocks is on BB.com. They went through the top websites and got many picks for our 1st and 2nd rounders. I am most happy with "NFL Draft Forecast".
