I'm assuming the people who have us taking a cb were of the mind that nate is gone. The best place to check our draft picks in mocks is on BB.com. They went through the top websites and got many picks for our 1st and 2nd rounders. I am most happy with "NFL Draft Forecast". I agree with basically everything in this post. BTW, I like Young but his wunderlic score gave me much pause. Also, is there a reason everyone loves Brick SO much. Im asking genuinely, not to start a fight. Obviously he is good, but what are the things he did in college that make everyone here want him so bad?

David Givens would be sweet. I like Pickett too and he has a connection with the Bills coaching staff.

I still like Ngata with the pick we have and true we shouldnt write JP off. But I would trade him for what was alleged here. He's unproven.

I don't believe JP has the mental toughness to win at this level. I remember listening to the postgame coverage of the Falcons game, a game where he did not play well. He said that he thought things were coming along and there were times we all could see how things were coming together for him. Problem was, I didn't see those times at all. no one I was with saw the positive plays. i saw him throw the ball at several people's feet. It sounded like he was trying to convince himself that he could do it. I don't think he can. But I hope he makes me eat crow. On another note. Now that Satan was fired we see some progress. Cutting MW is a recognition that TD didn't know best. Holding on to MW last season was a sign of vanity if you ask me. I like the way the team is headed in this offseason. With the coaching and front office changes i wouldnt be surprised if JP gets neglected though. Think Joe Gibbs and Patrick Ramsey. Losman is TD and MM's guy, not Jauron and Levy's.

Moulds was a great player for this team.He got a raw deal playing with so many coaches and qbs and then you look at his pal Harrison in Indy witrh Manning and you gotta feel for the guy. He stayed with the team through some rough times and we should celebrate him. His best years are behind him. If he wants to take a run at it somewhere else, I wish him all the best.

I want Ngata. The Oline wont gel for at least a year when we get decent people. At least with a good defense we can give them room to make mistakes.

fortunately Fantasy Points don't factor into getting into the playoffs. I don't care if he throws for 300+. I'd be happy with 200 with no INTS. Please stop equating fantasy numbers with being good. If you can't just get a life.

The board has not had a correct consensus on who we would pick in recent memory. Couple of questions: 1-would you be willing to trade up for Young? he's raw but has much more promise that Losman 2-Should we really risk taking another high pick OL? 3-Ngata is good. How does he stack up to other DTs in recent memory?

Givens is a great player and a good guy. We never used him right here at ND and he never once complained. Coach Weis thinks very highly of him and that's good enough for me. But I don't know about him being a #1, I feel more comfortable with Evans at 1 and him at 2

I don't like Brooks. But he IS better than both of our guys, so lets not slam him too badly.

Drew Brees played college ball at Purdue. Thats about 2 hours from Notre Dame where I am and this is the most God-awful snowy and cold weather in the world. He is not a warm weather QB

Hey my reasons for disliking JP are my own. All I'm saying is, we should have trde up for Rivers as an option as well. At the time of the draft this board talked him up just as much as Big Ben. Did you forget what we're talking about?
