  1. Just an observation, but I think Shawn Kemp has enough children to fill out BOTH teams.
  2. In a truly fair competition Hamdan would beat out Tom Brady, hands down. The league just isn't ready for a great Arab-American QB. He's only 3rd string because Homeland Security refuses to allow him to be any higher on the depth chart. In a similar vein, the DHS has also commanded that any pass Hamdan throws that is deep downfield must be referred to as a Liberty-pass, or a Freedom-pass, not a bomb, just to assuage the masses.
  3. Im registered. I want Benson in the 1st rd, I call dibs.
  4. I'm not faulting you for your views. I personally would just shut up as long as possible. If your friend puts you in a situation where you're getting charged with obstruction, then he's not too good a friend. But until that point, you follow their lawyer's gameplan and clam up until forced to talk.
  5. Doesn't seem extreme for Buffalo's police force, who impounded another one of Lynch's cars that he loaned to a relative for a TRAFFIC VIOLATION. Several weeks ago Lynch and his family had to have a "clear the air" meeting with local police because he made complaints he was being treated unfairly. Am I surprised they are now blowing this way out of proportion? No. This was all in an article on yesterdays front page here. "most of us would have cooperated with police even if we left the scene of the accident. Which reminds me, when they picked up ML's car from his driveway, why didn't they kick down the door and drag him downtown for a bloodtest and questioning ? I thought leaving the scene of an accident, hit and run were felonies ? And if there not, they should be." Things that nauseate me about this post: 1- The speed with which you would sell out your own friends. I certainly hope you have none who trust you. Though, if your personality here is any indication of how you act in real life, you probably don't. 2- Your apparent willingness for police to kick in doors at random and take people out of their homes. I do believe you made a joke about Nazi cops in another thread. Now, you advocate SS/Gestapo-like tactics in dealing with a MISDEMEANOR. People like you are why the government is now listening to our phone conversations sans warrants.
  6. Would you be calling him a ghetto punk if he were white and poor? I suspect the comments about racism playing a role here hit a little closer to their mark than expected.
  7. I would probably respect your posts more if: 1) they followed a logical train of thought, rather than spewing feelings and accusations; 2) you quit butchering the English language. I mean come on, I understand a typo here and there, but you actually appear to be ignorant of the rules of grammar or spelling. How am I supposed to take your "well-thought" opinions seriously when it sounds like they're being written by a 10 year old. In short, your argument is petty, but wrapped in a veneer of self-righteous outrage; kind of like putting a bow-tie on a turd.
  8. By ignoring perception, you are making the inference that an entire people group's cultural values are invalid. The issue here was Marshawn's likely inherent mistrust of the police and your failure to take it into account before you tried and convicted him in the court of public opinion. I wouldn't go as far as disqualifying an entire people group from a discussion, unless that group consists of you and Fan in San Diego. In that particular case I'll make an exception and say you should be excluded.
  9. I think we should make a chroise t-shirt, sign it and send to to Gibran like kids do for counselors at summer camp. This would only increase his chroise
  10. At the time of writing this post, were you drinking? Let's focus on YOUR lack of regard for the English language. This, I refuse to be flippant about.
  11. I like how the standard answer when someone get's cut is "he sucked in _______, why would we sign him?" Does this not seem a LITTLE extreme? He's 6'6 and runs like a mid 4.3. The argument against him playing TE after college was, why add 30 lbs and play with average speed when he's so big and could excel outside. I think that argument is out the window. The problem I have with the guy is he doesn't have good hands. He played QB in college so there's really nothing leading me to believe he can block, so unless he learns to catch soon I see him as a 4th-5th receiver at best.
  12. Now the real question is, when are you all going to apologize when it all comes out that he was not driving. I demand an apology when we find this out since you all felt it necessary to shoot off your mouths
  13. Then you are just the bestest boy on the block. Give this man a cookie. This could have been posted in one of the other million threads about this. But no, you decided to start your own self-important thread extolling the virtues of your own character. Give me a break. You're all entitled to your opinion. But there is a HUGE difference between posting constructive comments and grandstanding to show everyone how virtuous you are, making the whole thing about you.
  14. Weren't there 3 other players in the truck as well? Also, have you ever seen Marshawn's buddies? They all have dreads, which would make it much easier to confuse him for someone else.
  15. I actually do like most of their posts, so this gets a nod from me. http://www.profootballtalk.com/2008/06/05/...ewis-overrated/
  16. anyone want to play madden online for 360? PM me with your GamerTag!
  17. Ditto here Marshawn, we all know it was that drunken canadian's fault. Hit me up at 867-5309. Also, Jenny can you call me?
  18. I truly hope you get caught for every illegal act you commit as well Sir HighandMighty: speeding, changing lanes with no turn signal, jaywalking. Give it a rest, you bore me.
  19. We're talking 3:30 in the morning and you all really think she was just strolling along? Has anyone even considered the fact that whoever was driving, if actually going at a decent speed, could have thought someone was trying to jump out at them and get in the car? You might laugh at that, but there was damage on the side door, not the front, that means she stepped into the path of the vehicle.
  20. We should be out trying to place blame on the REAL culprit, the drunk girl!
  21. No criminal charges if they have no proof he was driving the car. In a civil case though, the absence of proof is not an affirmative defense, so he'd have to offer evidence as to who was driving to avoid liability. So, like another Bills running back, he would most likely skate on the criminal and pay a bit in a civil case if he presents no evidence.
