  1. Early betting lines are out for next week. If I had guessed before seeing the line I would've thought the Bills would be -1. It would be sweet to start the year 2-0 @ Metlife.
  2. I think Joe B. was right in his training camp reports......he did not like Ford at T, liked him a lot better at G. He seemed to get beat with outside speed pretty regularly, just as he did throughout training camp from everything I've heard. Maybe the Bills liked him as a T when they traded up for him in the 2nd, but so far the film is showing he needs to be moved inside. I don't see how you get better at handling outside speed on an island. You either have that athleticism or you don't. He doesn't look like he has it.
  3. One thing I noticed about J. Johnson, though, is he is slow. In last nights game he was out flanked and beat to the outside on a couple of occasions. His lack of speed to cut off the angle and make the tackle was pretty apparent. Then again that's why he went where he did in the draft.......his athletic numbers were all on the low side
  4. I'm slightly concerned myself. I think he can do damage in clear passing downs, but his inability to anchor in the run game will be exposed if it doesn't get a lot better. You can expect a coach like Bill B. to run right at him until he proves he can get off a block and make a tackle in the run game. His tackling is a little sloppy too, backs have slipped out of a few of his tackles this preseason. I like DT that can generate immediate pressure up the middle, which can destroy a play.......and he can do that......but he will have to be at least avg. against the run for the staff to trust him to be out there on 3rd and mediums and 3rd and shorts. Like I said earlier, I think smart coaches are going to run right at him, until he proves otherwise.
  5. Anybody who listens to One Bills Live, I think. I couldn't have been the only one with the same observation today, it was as bad as I've ever heard.
  6. Just listened to Greg Cosell's segment from the JMS today, always like Cosell. Tasker was an embarrassment during the segment. Murph must cringe when it's Tasker's turn to ask a ?. You can tell the dude does absolutely no prep for the show.....he just rambles and asks the worst ?'s. What a waste of a good guest.
  7. I would say very high..... I don't think Frazier will get another sniff. Much of the defensive credit seems to go to McDermott. Daboll you'd think has a slight chance, but this offense would have to take a hige jump for him to be a legitimate candidate next year and I don't see that type of rise. I'm talking the Bills offense being in the Top 10-12 in the NFL. I don't see that happening with our QB, honestly I'm hoping to finish in the 16-20 range offensively (we were 31st last yr.)
  8. Beane kind of hinted at yhis in sn knterview of his from a week or 2 ago. He was discussing having tough decisions for roster cut down and specificslly mentioned keeping 5 WRs in hyppthetical terms
  9. I still think theres a legit chance hes not on the roster come week 1. Bills sace $6.5 M by cutting him and that savings can be rolled into next years cap. His production doesnt come close to meeting his production, so I think cutting him is best for the Bills. If anything I thiink the RB production goes up this season without him. So Ill take the under if its How many yards specifically for the Bills.
  10. Know nothing about Foreman, but if picking him up on the cheap was a precursor for cutting/trading McCoy Id be all for it. When it comes down to it I really want the Bills to save the $6 5M against the cap that theyd save by cutting McCoy. For those that argue.....the Bills dont need the cap space......dont forget: cap space can be rolled over to next year. That $6.5M saved this year could go toward a quality FA next year.
  11. I like Schopp quite a bit. Hes smart, and thinks about the game very honestly and realisitcally, which seems to upset a lot of listeners. Hes the opposite of a homer, which I respect. Bulldog is okay, hes much better when Schopp is there with him to lead the way......when Bulldog is by himself and has to lead the show its pretty bad IMO. A lot of people like Sal, hes kind of the opposite of Schopp IMO. A through and through homer who kind of regurgitates a lot of obvious stuff. I appreciate his upbeat and positive energy, but I just think Schopp talks about things in a much more honest way even when its not popular.
  12. If concussions weren't part of Morse's history, I would agree with you, but they are.......and the Bills gave a guy who's had 3 or 4 concussions in the last 3-4 years a record contract, including $19M in cash this season. He then suffers a concussion in the first padded practice of the year......you can't call it bad luck if there was a track record of this specific injury, an injury that happens more frequently once you've had them. Look I'm not saying I don't like the player......I do......I think he's much better than Kalil at this point. I'm just pointing out that one is going to make $5 or $6M this year and the other is making $19M in cash this year.....and has yet another concussion. I'm very concerned.
  13. QB - Mahomes WR - Deandre Hopkins, Julio Jones TE - Travis Kelce, George Kittle LT - Terron Armstead G - Quenton Nelson C - Ryan Kelly DE - Khalil Mack DT - Aaron Donald CB - Marshon Lattimore
  14. Jets get a C for probably $4 or $5 M this year and dont have to give up any draft picks or sign a guy who will count against them in compensatory formula. Not bad on the Jets part. To all the Bills fans.....keep in mind the Bills are paying Morse $19M in cash this year. Hes currently sitting out pf practice with his 3rd or 4th concussion injury. Which move looks more responsible to you?
  15. This is a major concern. I remember his concussion history being brought up when this board was discussing Paradis vs. Morse as a FA signing. I know the Bills were pretty desperate to sign a C this year in FA, but that desperation may have created a huge blindspot. That is not only a lucrative deal, but its a long contract they gave Morse. If he starts missing games, or worse yet suffers another concussion in season, the Bills will be open to a lot of blame.
  16. 1 - The Chargers don't finish the season with a winning record.
  17. By looking at the pictures of the new place I can already tell they dont have enough TVs. And the ones they have look small.
  18. That video of Le'Veon should be saved to show the aliens how social media destroyed our society.
  19. Also a sign on immaturity on Oliver's part. I noticed a couple of instances of that from him in the 4 episodes. It was definitely one of the negatives about him heading into the draft. Seems like the type thats going to need an attitude adjustement to fufill the potential many believe he has. 100% agree with Kyle as the narrator. I know it wont be popular on this board, but he was awful
  20. These are the numbers that I'd be quite happy with for Allen's 2019 season (assuming he plays in all 16): 3500 yards passing 23 passing TD's less than 13 INT's Something like 3550 yards passing, 23 TD's & 12 INT's would be great for Allen in his 2nd year.
  21. The DE from Penn St., Yetur Gross Matos, looks like a monster to me. You have him projected at #19.......I envision him going much higher. Looks the part to me.
  22. Ive said it before and Ill say it again: The Bills did not give Ty Nsekhe $6.5M this year to be a backup. If he is a backup, then it was a really bad signing, that is not a backup contract. Whether its LT or RT I fully expect Nsekhe to be a starter come week 1.
  23. One thing we know for sure: Roger Goodell and by extension the other 31 owners in the NFL want a new stadium in Buffalo. I understand their stance from a money standpoint, but I personally like New Era field quite a bit. The sight lines are second to none, IMO
  24. I'd like to see where he was playing those games in weeks 15, 16 and 17. Theres a good chance that many of those games could've been road games in inclimate weather which would explain his slip in stats. Rivers has always been a poor mudder (to use a horse term) in bad weather. His relative lack of arm strength, especially later in his career, can really tear its ugly head in bad weather. Cian is a guy I actually followed on twitter a few years back. He was a frequent guest on WGR and I liked some of his points. That all changed after I started following him. He seemed to me to be someone that lives to argue with people. Many times when his arguments were soundly beat he would refuse to concede, and many times his trump card was inserting race into the topic. Tyrod seemed to be the test study that he refused to admit he was wrong on. When all else fails he calls the NFL, the GMs and the fans racist for not giving Tyrod a chance. It was tiring, inaccurate and pathetic. Unfollowing him was a no brainer.
  25. This is a money play by Daniel Jeremiah and his agent to squeeze NFL Network for more money, and they're not really doing a great job at hiding it. You actually had Adam Schefter on the Rich Eisen show today outright saying "the NFL Network needs to give Jeremiah a big raise or he will be working for the Jets." Talk about shilling. I actually find it kind of dirty by Jeremiah and if I were the NFL Network I'd call his bluff. I was not overly impressed with him as their main draft guru guy.
