With Fall in full season we have seen the typical drop in overall box office numbers, but with October starting things will trend upward a bit before the Holiday Season begins next month. As always with this month there will be a few things out there to give thrills and chills and maybe a little fun. There will also be a bit of action to go along with that as well. Leading this month however, are two films that are generating a lot of Oscar buzz, and getting ahead start of all the other independent releases that tend to come out at the end of December. One of our fans is angry that Colton Schmidt is no longer with the team, and he's even more upset because he doesn't know how to pronounce our new punters last name. He's always yelling at the announcers to say his last name. The guy is a bit unhinged.

I like the first three picks, and getting players like Myles Gaskin, Jalen Jelks & Hunter Renfrow in the later rounds is all good. However, if the Bills end up with the #2 overall pick, then they should definitely look into trading down. The first round is rich with Defensive Line talent, and there could be a quarterback someone might really want. Jonah Williams is a great prospect, but I think he would last past the 2nd overall pick. I know I'm dreaming, but i would love to draft LB Chase Winovich. He could replace Lorax and I'm sure he would be a Process guy.

Anyone think that the Astros can repeat? Could we have an Astros-Dodgers rematch?

The best way to have Overtime is this... Play it like a regular quarter, 15:00 of game time. Each team gets one possession. If neither team scores after one possession then it becomes sudden death. If both teams score after each possession and the game is still tied it becomes sudden death. Very simple. Also, ties don't bother me. They don't happen as often as they used to and they add a certain element to playoff tiebreakers.

The MLB playoffs start today. Although I guess you could say they started yesterday with the NL Central & NL West Division deciding games. So is a Red Sox-Brewers World Series inevitable or will we have two other teams playing for it all? Got any predictions or anyone you're cheering for? Play Ball!
