The big difference is that Tua Tagovailoa had massive hype coming into the league, Josh Allen was quickly written off as an imminent failure.

I cannot believe that McVay went soft and played for the field goal. -

I'm late, and in honor of two plays ago.....DOWN GOES BRADY! DOWN GOES BRADY!! DOWN GOES BRADY!!! Been wanting to type that forever. And that is a fumble! -
Isaiah Hodgins designated to return from IR

I'm not suggesting that he get 80% of the snaps. -
Isaiah Hodgins designated to return from IR

It sure seems that way. It would be great to see if Hodgins can get some meaningful playing time. I'm very curious to see how he looks on the field. -
College Basketball starts on Wednesday! Any predictions? Surprise teams? Can they complete the whole season?

As of now: Partly Cloudy, upper 40's.

At some point in time these players have played in bad weather. You prepare for it as best you can. You make a fair point about the Ravens-Patriots* game, but I don't think that is what's in store for this weekend in Orchard Park.

This is a game where I feel that the Bills need to make a statement. They are the better team in this game, and they need to show that they are. The Chargers are not a pushover, as their record may indicate. I want to see the Bills come out with fire, after the way they lost their last game. This is a very important game that the Bills need to win. Not only because that it's a conference game, but to show the league that they can bounce back from a demoralizing loss, like all good teams can do. Getting players back at full health is a plus, with Morse & Feliciano being on the field at the same time for the first time all season. It would be great if both Ford & Milano are back as well. I don't care about the weather being a factor. Good teams don't use that as an excuse for their play.

The End of Normal Bills Sundays As We Know It
Mark Vader replied to corta765's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We don't play Tampa Bay twice. -
Where are all the fans who said the Phish would win today? THAT'S.....Why they play the games.

WOOHOOO!!!! Bills are all alone in first place!

Who has the ball?
-
Is the game over? Have the Broncos won?
-
I can't see the game, did the Broncos get the ball?!
-
They would have to go for 2 in order to win on this drive.

2021 Draft Picks Overview
Mark Vader replied to EmotionallyUnstable's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I too am fine with Levi Wallace & Dane Jackson. I listed CB mostly for depth. The Josh Norman experiment has not worked out. Unless E.J. Gaines chooses to come back, that would help settle the situation. I edited my post and stated that I would love to see the Bills draft 2 DE's. We really need help at that position. Another Linebacker would be very good too. -
2021 Draft Picks Overview

Biggest needs for the Bills: DE, LB, CB, TE Last year I expressed that I wanted the Bills to draft two WR's. This year I hope that they draft two DE's. I don't know what we have with Epenesa just yet, and I don't think Daryl Johnson is more than a back-up player. We need to think about the future at this with Hughes & Addison getting older. -
Week 11 TNF: Zona at Seattle Battle of the Birds
Mark Vader replied to Steptide's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I get sick of that too. This year everyone is going gaga over Kyler Murray & Tua Tagavailoa. Yes, they are fun to watch, but the drooling and Hall of Fame talk is ridiculous. What's funny and ridiculous is that we've been seeing this a lot in recent years. It was just last season that Lamar Jackson was going to be the greatest QB to ever play the game. Now all of a sudden, no one is talking about Jackson. No one learns their lesson from this. Remember Robert Griffin III? Remember Vince Young? Let's give these players a few years of play, before we start making those busts for Canton. -
Hear me out: We could very well win out
Mark Vader replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That could happen. I don't expect it to happen, but it could. I look forward to seeing how healthy we are when we play the Chargers. -

Who to root for threads (and playoff machine)

And they are using the old playoff format! They list the top two teams as having bye weeks! Way to stay up-to-date ESPN! -
Jerry Hughes Do U Bring Him Back or Let Him Walk ?
Mark Vader replied to T master's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think this is a very reasonable take. As for Jerry Hughes, I see no reason why we should move on from him once his contract is up the following year. Yes, he is 32, but I have not seen any real evidence that he is slowing down as a player. I dare say that he could still be a good DE for another 3-4 years for us. That doesn't mean that we should not try to get better at the position. We still don't know what we quite have with Epenesa. Defensive End should be one of the top positions that we address during the offseason.
