  1. Losman would have probably been the 1st QB taken this year. But even if you don't believe that, you'd have to believe he'd be taken before the 9th pick, because that's what the Bills gave-up points-wise to get him. However they got him a year early and for the salary of a 22nd pick. And had they waited until this year, they would have had to keep Bledsoe since they wouldn't be starting a rookie QB.
  2. I'm starting to think the Bills don't want Shelton and are targeting a 2nd rounder. I think they'll get one from the Bucs, Bears, Eagles, or Cards, given the recent renewing of interest in Travis, as the draft approaches. And with that pick I can see them moving up to take Jones.
  3. Exactly. Whoever wrote that blurb should see what Antoine's cap number is THIS year. Ty Law OTOH...
  4. I said before that it's probably the end of Tedy's career in the NFL. I seriously doubt he plays this year (and if that limp he has was from the stroke, him not playing is pretty much a stone cold lock), and after that he's 2 years older. Better to use some sense and retire now, Tedy, after getting your coin first of course.
  5. The Eagles need WR's more than they need a new, high-priced RB. And with TO's impending salary bonus bump, and Brian Westbrook probably getting a new deal, they might not want to spend a ton for another RB.
  6. They think the finger might belong to a woman in the LV area who had her finger bitten-off in a zoo accident, and who was allowed to take it home after they couldn't reattach it. I guess the question would be whether she's missing it now, if she ever worked at Wendy's, or knew the woman who found it in the chili?
  7. As I mentioned, there are numerous factors as to why the Raiders are having trouble moving Woodson, which likely wouldn't affect the Bills, namely history of injuries, off-field problems, and having the Postons as his agents. If I am TD and have any idea about which teams might be interested in Nate in 2006 and would be willing to acquire him as an FP, I'd hold onto him and FP next year. That way you get a Pro Bowl caliber CB for another year for a reasonable price, and then trade him for a 1st rounder in a stronger draft. The gamble is trying to trade him once he's franchised, but the Skins were able to do it with Bailey (for Portis, considered worth a 1st round pick) ,whose situation would mirror Nate's will be and NOT Woodson's. I'm sure TD already knows what Nate's future holds as far as resigning with the team for the less-than-market value contract I'm sure he's already offered him.
  8. "Hmmm. Tastes like Dianabol, circa 2005..."
  9. I am pretty sure the Bills can franchise Nate and still have money left over next off-season. If not and Nate ties-up all the cap room, making a deal becomes harder because teams will realize the Bills NEED to move him.
  10. He'd be Soon-Yi to your Woody, I presume. Or would be be your Woody...
  11. Come on now! Does anyone REALLY believe that he JUST took them after his college career was over, and he took them to recover from an elbow injury? I sure don't. I'd take him off the draft board and sign him as an UFA only.
  12. I thought so initially, now I'm not so sure. The reason being the Bills could squeeze another year out of Nate, franchise him next year, and THEN trade him for a 1st rounder, in what should be a better draft. With the mad money being thrown around this past off-season to CB's, trading him, even for a 1st, might not be so hard. And before anyone brings up Woodson, Nate has been healthy since entering the league and has no off-field issues. He's also not represented by the Postons.
  13. You said "if he can overcome size and weight." That means he is short and light. He's not, he's tall (5'11") and light. If you didn't mean that he was short, you were being redundant. Hope that helped.
  14. That's why I thought is wasn't totally a "duh" question. Thanks for all the help, everyone.
  15. Again, thanks for the input. The agent more or less said that "the house will sell itself." She said she was expecting that some things inside would have to be fixed, and had a certain price in mind, but when she saw it, she said it was great and thought it be listed for about $35K more. That's when I started to wonder if FSBO was the better way to go. However as was mentioned, consumers these days are savvy, and when they realize there's no agent involved, they will ask for a discount virtually the same as the cut the agent would take. Hell, I'd do it! So in that regards, the couple thousand difference (I figure) isn't worth the aggravation, and time if of the essence, to a degree.
  16. If the Bills don't want to deal Travis for Shelton, that speaks to what the coaches feel about Shelton as a player. If they really wanted him and thought he'd be better than Gandy, they would have traded Travis as soon as Green got his head out of his ass and agreed to the player-for-player deal. And the depth chart isn't set-in stone.
  17. Greer is 5'11", which is excellent height for a CB. And he can always add weight, and since he's fast, not lose enough to be a detriment. With some good coaching, he could be a player.
  18. Hey, if they could teach Patrick Ewing to speak...
  19. How about a shot of penicillin instead?
  20. Thanks. Should I try/force the issue to get the commission down to 5%? Sounds like a "duh" question, but just wondering why not is the answer were "no."
  21. True that would be a "selling" point for wanting to list with them, but she didn't mention it. Good to know, because I wasn't expecting a prospective buyer to ask for money-off for unexpected stuff, nor was I going to agree to it. But the furnace IS getting to the end of its usable life, so maybe it might come in handy for the new owner.
  22. Thanks. Yeah the above is another big reason to go with an agent. I'm at peace because I HATE overpaying when I don't have to do so or it's not worth it.
