  1. I was wondering that last year when both of our TE's were lost for the season. You have to wonder what he's here for. What happened to all that great speed and athleticism he's supposed to possess? The team hasn't even bothered to use him other than on teams. Let's take advantage of his skills now. LMAO, I still get a chuckle from that article posted at the start of the season last year when the smaller players (DB's, etc) would fall down or find a way not to block Peters on teams in practice!
  2. I don't like the idea of scrambling the entire line and hope these guys can jell in time for the season. Has Villareal ever played LG?
  3. Let's just forfeit the season. It's obvious TD has no idea what he's doing.
  4. Makes you wonder why they didn't bother to keep Fletcher back then. He's alot better than this guy.
  5. UR funny. No, really.
  6. I'd rather keep Pat but he'll price himself out of Buffalo. Jonas would be more difficult to swallow because now that left side of the line is extremely suspect. However, I don't believe we should overpay here for a guy who's never been mentioned as an elite player (read: Pro Bowler). We need up and comers who can play well and who haven't reached their peak or a free agent that is at his peak would be ok. I think Anderson might be the guy that might allow us to forget about Pat. Edwards is a capable backup but I wouldn't want him starting. Losing Ted Washington really killed our D and can be blamed for sucking there for so long after. He was the anchor of that D and earned each PB spot!
  7. I think TD has already had negotiations with both of them; abeit informal ones. Pat wants a lot more $$$$ than Tom is willing to give him. Don't believe media reports that both sides have not spoken to each other. Remember, Pat and Jonas were offered extension early last year but both decided to test the market.
  8. What you say makes sense but what if Willis had to sit out several games due to.....well, I'm not gonna say it. I don't think Shaud will be able to handle all that abuse.
  9. Certainly not Green Bay. He wants to start.
  10. That late winter evening when TD is holding up the Lombardi trophy!
  11. Both are viable options over 'the bust".
  12. 49ers suck (and will for a quite a long spell) and are desperate for help wherever they can find it.
  13. I don't know if you've been following the news lately but there is a demand for DT right now cuz there is a shortage of them in free agency. He'll hit it big somewhere desperate enough for line help (i.e., Denver). Would love to see Pat back again but he'll command top dollar and I think we should be reasonable and pay up. I want to forget about losing Ted Washington when he still had years left to give.
  14. Reese was a former Bronco was he not? Let's not dump on Baker just yet until he can show us what he can produce for a whole year.
  15. Maybe he has made some offers but they felt insulted a bit and didn't want to stir anything up to embarrass themselves further. Who knows? I can see why he would let Pat walk if he likes what he sees with Anderson and Edwards as a tag team besides Big Sam. Not making an offer to Jonas is a bit puzzling unless he's got his eyes on somebody else ou there.
  16. I don't think this Mike's natural position but it wouldn't hurt to try if can't land a free agent or for some odd reason can't draft a LT in April. Mike is just now coming into his own and I don't think it's a good idea to move him unless the team is desperate. McNally is not God after all and can only perform small miracles.
  17. Damn. And I just heard some fool shot Prez Kennedy.
  18. And he's still married? She must be a very understanding woman. Bless her sweet heart.
  19. I didn't think it was possible but I lost even more respect for a poster on this board. Ouch.
  20. I happen to agree up to a point! Hell, he was my favorite Bill while the team was rebuilding. I prob was the only who had his back when everyone thought he was a fumbling fool. What if he does become a cancer and divided the lockerroom? I'm not saying he will but is it worth it? BTW, he bit his tongue last year and could've become our Randy Moss but he chose not to. That shows you what type of MAN he is! That's really sad when he's the only one in the league that would humble himself like that. If we keep him now, we won't get anything once the 2005 season ends. True, he would be that hard nosed back that we all wanted to backup Willis. I dunno, I'm not really sure now.
  21. Buffalo TD caves in to pressure arising from angry posts at TBD and sign every free agent out there only to get run outta town by same "fans" becuz the team is now over the rainbow regarding the cap.
  22. I really think Troy saved the Pats collective butts by playing so well in that secondary! He may not be worthy of a big price tag but he hasn't gotten the love from that time this year like a superstar would.
  23. Who needs this coward of a player who can't play by the rules.
  24. Love the white hat part of this (with the charging bison, tho). Don't like the black that replaces the grey tho.
  25. Brown is an upgrade over "The Bust". Not referring to Wire here but he would certainly fit this bill.
