Whenever a player suffers an Achilles injury I always wonder if there was anything to prevent it or was it inevitable.

I use to want him but he needs some humbling. Not sure this is the spot for him. He won’t play much here.

Yeah I didn’t particularly like the play calls last week. Some cute stuff mixed in with some some stuff we don’t really do well. Maybe it was a case of we know Washington can’t get anything going let’s try some stuff.

And the scary part is when he puts it all together. Making plays with his legs and outside the pocket but also taking what the defense gives you. It’s unstoppable. We saw a glimpse of that today.

It was a great day for Dorsey. But if Allen plays under control like that he’s unstoppable. They said in the broadcast he’s trying to look short to deep instead of deep to short. It’s hard for Allen to learn that.

Dorsey calls a good game most weeks but it’s about getting Allen comfortable with taking what the defense gives him. We’re seeing Allen evolve. Romo said Allen calls it playing boring football. The last 3 weeks Allen’s has made very few turnover worthy plays. I don’t think he had one today.

It really matters how other players perform. It’s a cruel business sometimes.

Weird for a player to outplay his big extension.

Dane Jackson is a heck of a backup. I’m sure they’ll rotate CBs in and out like they did last year. Difference is the pass rush is maybe the best in football.

It’s hard to separate game from reality. Sometimes it’s a way to cope. These players are human. It’s hard line to draw. We saw it last year in Cincinnati where humans took over and said we can’t play. There’s no right way to go about this. No one wants to see anyone hurt.

A lot of players had good games but I’m going with coaching. Bills were prepared.

Benford got hurt in the 2nd quarter vs the Dolphins last year.

I completely made this up. Based it off of one play this year.

Problem I believe is Davis and Knox haven’t developed into that 2nd option they hoped for. Now it’s politics. Davis and Knox are popular players. Allen wants Davis to eat but he just doesn’t get open enough. He’s a play killer. But Allen finds him on broken plays mostly.

Been going through this trade for a few weeks. It makes sense to me. We’d be getting a talented former 1st round WR with another year left on his contract and a 5th year option. The trade is Kaiir Elam for Rashod Bateman. Bateman could come in this year and push Davis. Learn the system. Then next year take over as WR2. Bateman has had a lot of injury history. Hasn’t taken off like expected. What would you say?

In my world they haven’t brought in anyone to challenge Davis in 2 years. My world is real.

But that’s kind of what I’ve been saying. It’s not a slight against Cook. Maybe it comes off that way because it does negate his production so far. Cook will be fine. I said last week Cook is only going to get better as the season goes on.

Cover 1 is great to listen to but I find all of them way too positive about the Bills. Most of the breakdowns are positive.

There’s so many people to listen to nowadays. Podcasts are great. I like listening to people that break down the game rather than just spews opinions.
